I got a 2022 5.3 with 20k miles on it. When I test drove it I thought it had upgraded shocks it drove so nice. Saw that they were ranchos and was amazed. They loosened up a bit since driving it now for a couple weeks but still amazing difference.
I got the 23 SLT with the premium packages, heated/cooled leather seats, automated cruise used 30k miles for 49 otd. Happy with that purchase I couldn't find a truck with automated cruise under 50 before tax n fees
Got the same truck with the duramax as well ..mine didn't come with running boards and now does also slapped 20% on the sides with 45% on windshield. Ceramic as well. Just needs a 2.5" leveling kit ill be good 👍
Few reasons, most personal preference but I like the look of the gmc, the interior felt more comfortable, and the torquey diesel getting 30 mpg is just plain fun to me. The power boost was also at minimum $10k more in my area
I tinted mine all around with ceramic. But I went with 80% and I can't see a damn thing at night. I went dark because I live in the SoCal Desert, where it gets over 120 in the summer. It's freakin brutal without tint. The AC went out in my 2015 this summer and I couldn't handle it, and didn't want to spend a bunch of cash that could just go into a new truck.
@@jgz79 the headlights are really bright on mine, may just be the video if that’s what you are referring to? Reverse lighting I do have plans to improve on!
@@ALTHORPE100 much more consistent torque through the powerband vs the 5.3. Top end isn’t quite as high but enjoy driving the duramax 100% more, there is always passing power without fail
They are more firm than my 2021 gmc, but definitely not as firm as an at4. I think getting these wrapped in leather is a good middle ground. My 2021 seats were much softer though
The seats are full leather, cloth was removed prior to leather being installed. I made it part of my purchase agreement and the dealer sent it to a third party to get installed
I want to know about turbo, intake, chip, or other performance/power increasing mods. I have the same exact truck only fully loaded and lifted with upgraded wheels and tires. But I paid $72k in California. A week after I bought it, they dropped the price on a 6.2L turbo diesel at4x Black widow to 78k. I was pissed to say the least.
Be prepared to take it in for check engine light. It will come and go, My 24. Denali has it on right now. I made an appointment to take it in. On the forums they say most dealers will want you to come back if the light goes out. I already talked to the manager and said I want it fixed the day I come in weather it’s on or not. The code is still in memory. I guess it’s just a computer update. Anyhow I wish I would not have bought the extended warranty for my truck because I would likely have just ripped all the environment garbage off. Here in Ontario they stopped that smog testing vehicles because it is nothing but a scam. Funny all the government/ military vehicles don’t have that garbage on it. Anyhow other than that issue I love the truck, nicest one I have ever bought. Almost bought the Ultimate Denali in the 2500 with the 6.0 ltr.Diesel. But it was a lot more money that we could not justify. All the best, love the channel
Thanks for sharing, yeah I had a light come on the second day I had it but it appeared to just need a forced Regen after sitting on the lot for 100 days doing nothing but short test drives. If it comes on again I will share in a video what’s up with it, but figured that first one made sense.
I’m honestly not that familiar with Belltech to have an opinion on them. I was looking at the Cognito Fox coilover 3” kit or getting the GM 2” and adding the ready lift 1.75 level (so it would be a factory leveled at4). Same price for both, would just be trying to preserve some warranty if possible. If that doesn’t work… Cognito all day
Have you noticed the backup camera at night is crappy? I have a 24 AT4 Diesel and I love everything, my only complaint is the camera at night. Really poor. My old 16 Tacoma was much better.
It surprisingly isn’t bad with the halogen bulbs on the elevation. I will do a aux rear lighting video eventually. There are a few options out there that don’t require drilling that offer a lot of lighting (most off road lighting companies have some type of rear lighting kit available)
@ ruclips.net/video/YP-plpaMWmw/видео.htmlsi=40cvsW6Ic-UeCImd I made a video of my backup camera. Is this more or less like yours. Would value your feedback

U didn’t talk about the transmission but it’s like butter that 10 speed shifts through the gears so clean… better than any other vehicle I’ve owned
So true. It is always in the right gear too. I’ll mention it in a future video for sure!
It does shift beautifully when in auto, but it lags way too long when using the paddles. Maybe I just don't know how to use them right.
Venom trucks has a sweet mod for these trucks for Amber DRL instead of white.

As a tinter, you need to tint your privacy glass too. I hope whomever did your tint recommended that to you.
Other than heat/uv rejection, are there other benefits, or is it primarily privacy?

....you plan to make any changes to those?
@@jgz79 the headlights are really bright on mine, may just be the video if that’s what you are referring to? Reverse lighting I do have plans to improve on!
What percent tint you go with
The tint is the basic legal limit for Texas, but it is heat rejection film so it stays really cool inside
