Feel sorry for the manager it’s his players that let him down
Haroon Rehman agree 100% his philosophy is too good for these players, attacking manager needs to be at a better club👍🏻
Good game plan but very unconfident and shite players
1000% with you on that one Haroon
Haroon Rehman I completely agree
True. He is a nice guy
Like Carragher said you can't blame a 9-0 defeat on the manager
Why would you listen to Carragher lol
brogan turner it’s true though?!

Merkurii Depends but in this case I don’t think it was Ralph’s fault

He shouldn’t have to apologise for the lack of effort his players showed shame on them
Alex .Stanley if you really think that ur a clown
True
@@71hammyman no not really
It’s the Managers job to change something especially after 5 goals tactically
@@kingcash7036 this situation has nothing to do with tactics and everything to do with the mentality of the individuals on the pitch. How do you know he didn't give new tactical instructions at half time? You don't.
The players on the field are fully accountable for this. They are an absolute disgrace.
U can tell he is genuinely hurt by the defeat. U feel so sorry for him. His players should feel ashamed of themselves
You a bitch
@@brage1263 shut up and calm down
Don't be stupid. He could've changed tactics but wanted them to still be open and concede more.

Don’t care it’s not his fault. Yeah sure he participated but no way he can be blamed for 9 goals...
Editz agreed, the players were embarrassing

And today he cried tears of joy, beating Liverpool 1-0. He took responsibility for that 9-0 defeat to Leicester, stuck up for his players and 1 year on they are doing so well. Good to see the commitment and turn around.
literally came here straight after he’s emotional win vs liverpool
@@taison.9687 likewise, just goes to show it is only a low point for a time.. it was amazing to see..happy for them
Since this 9-0 last season all the postivie results southampton have had since this game is amazing. He has massivley turned the club around and he defo takes 100% responsilbilty for that. Long may it contiune Ralph.👍
Yeah
And then loses 9-0 against Man Utd again 👍
The players are a disgrace, not the managers fault
Feel sorry for him hes genuinley a very good manager...
evidently not very good, it isn’t his fault though
Teddy McDonald he took rb leibzig to 2nd in their first season in the bundesliga, that’s the sign of a good manager
Orangutan 100 percent agree with you
Hes unfortunately surrounded by players who don't have a good mentality
He’s a great manager, that was an utterly shameful performance by the players.
Poor guy, he should resign so he doesn't have to work with those clowns
As a saints fan, I agree. Wtf was that

I think he will see it for what it was, one terrible game. They happen. Especially with the competition like it is in the prem at the moment.
True, they're proper clowns.
@@ep1phany62 Mate it wasn't a terrible game. Terrible is 5-0 or 6-0. In the premier league in the current time, that score is just unbelievable. It would have been easy to except if the manager was bad but Ralph ain't bad
The guy sounds like a child saying sorry to his parents, i feel so bad i just want to give him a hug
That's weird
Feel sorry for him. Having to endure this. He is a great manager especially when he was at Leipzig where he got them into the Champions league in their first season in the Bundesliga.
Ralf at halftime: "Nein nein nein!! Nein goals!"
Southampton players: "Gaffer want us to concede nine goals."
nice one hahahaha

To think that after this game, Southampton picked up 44 points in their remaining games, while Leicester only managed 42, including a 2-1 win for Southampton in the game at the King Power is quite incredible! Ralph Hasenhuttl is an excellent manager.
The second he changed the way saints play everything changed
Here after the Liverpool win, what a manager
You can blame a manager for losing 4-0
But when you lose by nine goals it’s down to the players

@Anthony Mathai haha

4-0? 6-0 or 7-0
@Anthony Mathai are you from the future?
@Anthony Mathai No way was that comment before the Bayern vs Barca game wtf
You can blame consistent several defeats on a manager, but not a thrashing where the players decided to go to sleep
I feel for him... you can tell he is hurt... I wish him a speedy psychological recovery and the best of luck to him!!😢
Ralph:
(chuckles) I'm in danger...
As a Liverpool, I have so much respect for this man, coming out after his players let him down.
I feel bad for him. Southampton don’t deserve him
Do your homework
Matt Brown use ur brain

From taking a 9-0 battering from Leicester to tonight beating Man City 1-0 what a turnaround!
You can see the shame in him, he can't even hold his head up.... Sorry for him!
Let this be a lesson to the PL, NO ONE beats Southampton 10 nil.
Being a southampton fan myself, Ralph is still a saint to me
It’s crazy seeing this now 8 months on seeing how far he’s turned Southampton around. Beat city last week just drew with United this week. What a top manager
Wow ummm this aged like milk in the scorching heat
@@eo129 can’t blame Ralph, totally on the board. Having to take 5 or 6 youngsters to a match and he couldn’t fill the bench even with 2 goal keepers. The corrupt league doesn’t help either
@@eo129 i wouldn’t be surprised if he walks out of Southampton. There’s nothing more he can do with what he’s being given. Still had some amazing results this season and are doing well in the league, we’ve had a rough month but like I said, when you don’t spend any money you get exposed.
@@joemcguinness2607 he’s not a bad manager. But I couldn’t show my face if this happened to me twice.
@@eo129 just got shafted by Mike Dean again that’s what pushed it to 9. Should’ve been 6-1 or something (still very bad). I've always rated him as one of the few quality managers that have worked in the BL that are still working (Klopp, Tuchel, Hasenhüttl). I do rate him a bit higher than Nagelsmann even. I think he is very underrated and far more than a poor man's Klopp.

This is surely the best turnaround in a season, I love that man COYR
Who's here after they lost 9-0 again😂😂😂
It’s disappointing to see cos they have a positive and decent team on paper and loads of potential but they just well bottled it
Not much potential in that team, Gunn is dodgy, Bertrand has been past it and too casual for years, Vestergaard is a bombscare - can’t turn and way too slow and skinny, Yoshida isn’t premier league quality, Valery has no spacial awareness and is caught out way too often, Hojbjerg and Romeu are both too slow and always pass backwards, Ward-Prowse has been wasteful with the ball and gave away stupid fouls lately - as well as lacking pace, Redmond whilst showing glimpses of promise flatters to deceive with his awful end product. Ings and Bednarek are the only two decent players in that team, and I do pity the both of them, other than them the only promising players at the Saints are McCarthy (no clue why he hasn’t been starting), Djenepo (unproven though) and Boufal - about the only player with some flair and the ability to take the ball forward...
Spafhetti Shhsna fair bit they are players in there that could potentially change it up he need to find and maybe use that to there advantage
Fuzz That’s the point though, as much as I do rate Hasenhuttl and the style of play he brings, he failed to address key areas of the squad (defence, creative midfielder), and has refused to change the squad even after the fans pushing him to (Armstrong in for Ward-Prowse, McCarthy in for Gunn), it was his tactics that lost us the Bournemouth game, he had Cedric as a left sided wing back, which was taken advantage of by the pace of Bournemouth’s wingers, the blames not completely on him, and it shouldn’t be but everyone needs to take blame for this, from the recruitment team who’ve spent on flops like Hoedt, Carrillo etc, the coaching staff (even Rohl leaving), the woeful players, and Gao who has scammed the club...
Mikail BALANI [10R02M] that’s why I said unproven, he looked good and positive in glimpses but, hey, anyone can have a purple patch - look at gabbiadini a few years ago :)
Daniel Gosse Definitely, Ralph has finally found and stuck to a system that works - Ings and Long work their arse off as well - as does the whole team now - very impressed with Armstrong, always liked him at Dundee United and Celtic (I’m Scottish). Very tidy on the ball and rarely is wasteful.
When's kick off?
Every 10 minutes
Can we give him a hug :(
Feel so sorry for him . His players threw him under the bus today
Can't believe I'm saying this as a Saints fan; In a season where we lost 9-0 at home, ended with the second worst home record in the country and had the double done over us by Newcastle and Burnley; This season has been brilliant!!
Wins against Spurs, City, Chelsea and yes Leicester, two draws with United, a very unucky point at Arsenal, a striker who narrowly missed out on the golden boot and of course a 4-0 win at Fratton Park.
Credit to Ralph for turning this around!
If I was Ralph I would’ve blamed everything on the players. The players didn’t care and that was shown through Bertrand’s red card. A shocking tackle that came out of the blue which he made for no reason.
Oh and despite the fact that the evidence was shown all around the stadium, he still had the gall to plead his innocence.
