Man I remember working at a theater when this came out and wow the amount of parents who can’t tell when a movie is rated R is way too high
The same reason so many people say the 'live action' lion king is better
People just look at animation and think 'kid stuff'
You guys gotta understand, people are dumb
Dude I remember seeing parents talk about the movie they went in excited and they all came out confused and mad lmao
People look at animations whether it's 2D or 3-D as kiddish but it's not always that way I mean look at helluva boss
Like when my brother-in-law took his under-5s to watch Deadpool.
The fact that you had to blur the knife going through the sentient hot dog is somehow the biggest sin of all
If that has to be censored for offensive content I'm going on the first rocket to Mars because I seriously can't understand this world anymore
I didn't notice that. I noticed when they censored the woman pulling at her pants at the crotch.
*As touchy as YT's censors are, I don't think CS wanted to take a chance showing that scene.*
Its a kind of an injury/death scene, since cutting a human might also need to be censored. Thanks RUclips...
@@TheAlps36 Cooking channels are done for. They can't even show a sausage being cut in half.
You forgot another sin:
This movie exists.
The sin ticker would have broken, they had to nerf it just to not need to get it repaired
He forgot one extra sin: 8:10 The juice box says he is very cold, but it would not make sence since juice boxes are meant to be fresh cold for everyone to drink. So if the liquid was coming out of the box, it meant he would be very warm. So he was supposed to say, he was very warm and humid.
The humans don’t torture the food out of anger*
Didn’t critics and audiences like this movie when it came out? Admittedly I did, too. I remember seeing a lot of positive reviews. People didn’t care for the swears being forced and taking up too much room in the script, but wasn’t it still received decently? Of course, before the mistreatment of the animators came to light? It hasn’t aged well, AT ALL, even though it isn’t old. I’m glad it exists though, simply because it was put to a mainstream audience and showed how idiotic people are for thinking animation is only for kids. Yep, your dumb butt just brought your kids to a movie that ends in an orgy. Maybe you’ll pay attention next time. Or you can just rot their brains with the Emoji movie the following year.
This movie is hilarious you guys are just dorks
I have massive respect for the Cinema Sins team. They actually sat through this movie AND ANALYZED IT. Watching this review was painful enough as it was.
i mean, this is their job. they literally get paid to it. i'm not sure why we would be so surprised.
why would it be painful for them? they just watched a funny movie that depicted how dumb religion is. the actual analysis of this movie was umbearable

Cringey film, and worst of all not funny
sorry it’s not for woke people it’s for those that can enjoy life in its ugliest moments as much as it’s best.
I was watching this in the movie theaters with my friend and when THAT ONE SCENE was playing the whole theater was in an awkward silence but then my friend asked very loudly "What the fu*k are we watching???" and the entire theater burst out laughing. It was priceless.
Did they all start clapping too 😂

what scene?
I worked at a theater for this movie. I told parents it was rated r but never tried to convince them to leave. The shock and terror on their faces 10 minutes into the movie was amazing.
Rated R to most parents is like the Terminator, Predator, Rambo kind of thing, which all kids watched back in the day. They don't think of rated R as being... this
😂😂😂😂😂😂 that's cold and I'm here for it 😂😂😂😂😂
Did they say anything when they were going to go in there?
Maybe they'll listen to you next time
@@Mr_Robottsyeah. Honestly, this should have been rated NC-17

As someone who works at a grocery store: Yes, people WILL walk through a cloud of flour and minefield of spilled groceries that they themselves spilled and then get mad that it got on their shoes and promptly blame you for their own mess. Still sin-able, though.
^^^^^ Absolutely!!! Customers are that stupid and BEYOND

Black adam
When I decided to watch it out of curiosity I knew abt the killing of food but the sexual nature completely caught me off guard. I can’t tell you how shocked, intrigued, disgusted, grew a few shades red on this part but I watched it all the way through 😂
Never forget that the animators of this movie had to put up with terrible work conditions and were threatened to be blacklisted unless they worked overtime without pay
What is the point
But wasn't this movie made by a collection of "good" Hollywood types? The kind that don't watch Fox News? Say it ain't so.
I feel sorry how they wasted their talent to animate a film written by some immature idiots

14:07 Kind of surprised the sin wasn’t that baby carrots are just shaved down carrots and that none of them have noticed that. Or how so many other products are made with combinations of other processed foods and ingredients. We see mentos has sentient mints in them, so are they aware of their insides being alive?
Or that the box of crackers also has sentient crackers inside...like wtf.
But..............food orgy
He did that sin with the pizza with no legs. He was like "isn't he made of products that were sentient before?"
If they were consistent the pizza should have been made of mangled dead gruesome body parts. I mean, shouldn't poop be alive then?
HUMANS also have large numbers of living creatures inside US, and this actually becomes an issue, if your 'poopy' intestinal friends die, and suddenly you are losing most of your water and nutrients. Fecal transplants are a thing, and you might even need one to survive (!!) Unlike humans, since the Mentos being is just packaging (as some of the other food items are), it does make sense that it dies in a way, if it disgorges all its passengers, because there is nothing left but foil, and nothing to hold its shape, once all the inside beings are gone, kind of like a suicide bomber.
@@dovidstaples9985 Oh the cartoon about living food is not consistent? YOU MEAN LIKE EVERY OTHER MOVIE? 🤦♂🤣
i remember one christmas, my parents got me the Finding Dory DVD.
they then told me a lil story about how they were originally going to get me an animated film called Sausage Party, but said they researched it a little (thank god) and decided it “wasn’t suitable.” they were clearly trying to hide its true nature to their seemingly innocent daughter.
little did they know that only a few weeks prior, said daughter watched that film with her friend in her bedroom and laughed at it the whole way through.
i just had to act oblivious so they didn’t find out if already watched it at a way younger age than i should have.
Lots of people have negative experiences with this movie, you seemed to have a positive one for a unique reason and that’s cool. The first thing I watched behind my parents back was an Anime called SAO, not that good but the thrill of it all made it memorable for me.
The first thing I watched behind my parents’ back was invader zim. This comment made me count my blessings
That's funny because a California theater played a Sausage Party trailer by accident before a screening of Finding Dory.
The way that he just kept saying, "Jesus Christ!" Has me rolling!! 🤣🤣
This is one of those movies they could have simply uploaded the entire film and just let it roll from beginning to end without commentary and call it a day
We would still know why they're dinging lol
And make it ding with every frame/second/scene multiplying it the farther the movie goes.
That's cruel and inhuman punishment.
You could, but cruel and unusual punishment is frowned upon
Just a ding per second, lol
I remember watching a six year old throw this into her grandma’s cart for movie night. I still wonder how far it would have gotten if I hadn’t spoken up.

Well the whole point of this is that pretty much all products you can hold in your hand are sentient, and the joke is "man what if I was that food, it'd be gnarly" and stuff
So think of it like tearing off your skin, multiple times a wipe, using it to wipe the residue from the corpses of other dead, digested people, and having to go through that roughly each day
So kinda screwed up, all things considered, made me belive this is more of a horror movie (not even that scary) compared to a mediocre comedy
The original ending was that after killing the people they step through the portal and come out of the store looking like mascots like at a baseball game. The studio executives said that looks too much like a kids movie ending and it needs to be more adult. So the orgie scene at the end of the movie was Seth Rogen's malicious compliance.

19:00 also, theres no way the sausage had enough momentum to push that kife stash so harshly
It feels like this movie came a lot longer ago than 2016. I remember being 27 at the time and leaving thinking "man I feel too old to have watched that"
My husband and I went and saw this at a drive in theatre and I can remember us sitting in the car watching the screen with these horrified expressions. What the actual hell did we just pay to watch!?
That's why you watch trailers to movies. You woulda knew what you were going to see. Your fault lol
@@afiftysixteen9584 toxicity to all people who post anything ending in, 'your fault' you trog
as a person who never watched it, i really hoped the ending would be all food eventually succumbing to expiration and rot
They say it's not a movie for kids. I don't know, I think they're the only one who would find it funny
If a movie like this can get made, I should definitely be able to get something funded….
