For a dancer - - doing skilfully executed 96 fouettés - - and who stays on the spot - - and remains artistic throughout the dance - - then that is wonderful to watch indeed. J Bosco is quite an impressive dancer for her age (19 years). Thank you for sharing - - @ DanceLine Ballet.
On pointe too
To @ Sarah - - you're right - - and she's perfectly and beautifully balanced en pointe - - she stands on her left supporting leg - - while her right working leg - - is whipped around to the side.
Her spot was amazing!!! And she didn't move around when she did them.
Fouettes are literally some of the hardest steps in ballet. And the fact of pointe making things so much harder. Its honestly incredible. She must of had to train so hard.
If anybody's curious for a frame of reference (though the comments look like they got it pretty well), 32 x 3 = 96.
She's doing Three Times the number of fouettés required of performances.
To - - @ Carmel Davids- - thank you for your added comments - - and of course people make up their minds - - as to what they think of Bosco's fouettés - - for me - - it's hard to know but i can just guess - - maybe she did 96 because she can do them. If I'm a dancer - - I'd probably try to do it too.
it made me sad how the teacher only said “good” and none of the girls clapped, she had amazing control and technique
They're probably used to see that.
Both J Bosco and the teacher - - are emotionally intelligent figures. J Bosco knows her strengths - - and her weaknesses - - and the teacher is fully aware of it. The rest of the class are in awe - - they show calmness - - and they too - - are emotionally intelligent people. To - - @ Grace Rawlins - - you have a genuine - - a strong loyalty conduct - - and we admire you - - too.
To @ Chaali - - I totally agree with you.
Ballet do be like that lol
That honestly speaks to how toxic and jealous people in the arts are, especially in theatre and dance. They would rather side eye and death stare talent that isn't theirs than congratulate or appreciate someone else. It's honestly pathetic.
Training and control are quite impressive ! If she shows also musicality and style she will be a prima ballerina !
I agree with you - - @ Tarantella LaRouge - - I watched (on yt) how she has danced - - pas de deux from Grand Classique - - and she's executed very nice battus and nice extensive grand battlements - - and she received - - a YAGP silver medal for it.
Congratulations dear ballerina.. brava!! Long ago our ballet teacher would tell us to practice 100 fouettes. I did not understand why but at performance night 32 fouettes gets fun and easy.
She sure has a lot of energy and talent!! Thank you for sharing 🌹🌹❤❤
Extraordinary gift these most challenging of turns... (That left calf etc, sure gets a mega workout!)
Ballet dancers are metal af. Literally so goth. They look like beautiful gossamer nymphs floating and twirling. But inside of those beautifully laced silken pointe shoes?? Their feet look like they use them for battle. Toenail split down the middle.ALL THE WAY DOWN Blood pouring. Mad respect for these people
jesus ppl in these comments watch too many dancing shows.
ballet class isn’t inherently a place full of jealousy. the other girls look tired not jealous and not clapping is normal in a ballet class😂we don’t clap lmfao bc even a head nod from the teacher is a massive compliment
Meanwhile in hip hop classes we have the "hype concept". It's amazing for me how both styles give off such different vibes yet both are amazing on their own way
Absolutely incredible!!!!
omgggggggggggggg I bet her toes are scaaaahreeeeaming!!! SO impressive!!! I support them so much!
Brava! She is awesome!
She's simply AMAZING.😁❤BRAVA! 🙌
she makes it look so easy
Gran fuerza y equilibrio!!!
This is insane! Well done :)
😍 great control and technique
1:46 you can see how she was tipping over but she saved herself
wow...just wow...
oh my god. this had to be like a record or something
How i- just can’t. I havn’t even learned fouettés yet
in my class we were never taught fouettés but we do them when learning dances
Feel the burn!
WOW
i cant even do a single pirouette
Great! 💖👌🌹
oh my god
Wow.😯😯😯😯
Linda
Belíssima
Maravilhosaaaa 👏🏼 Bravo ❤️🔥💯❤️🔥
there are 100 ! quite impressive
I counted 101.🤪 wow!
10 лет хореографией занимаюсь, до сих пор ни одно фуэте сделать не могу))
omg
She has the world record of most fouette's
Omg how?!
my toxic trait is thinking i can do this when i can't even do 2 pirouettes without falling
i can barely do one 💀
I can't even do two 😭
The girl behind her clapped. Y’all creating drama where there was none. Catty much
Wondrrful
神啊……
I can not do 5 fouettés without falling, I don't understand how she did this
Wow over 80 rotations 🤗😍💖👍💃👏👏👏
C’est bien et maintenant à gauche ! 😉
That is what I was thinking too.
Yes!
Great! How many can she do on the right?
really.
God is good
big deal my boy eldon did more to win a date with thalia
all jokes aside jesus this is so very impressive
Looks like fun but I’m sure it’s actually really painful to pull this off. Lol.
That's standard for South Bay Ballett School.
its also a standard to spell "ballet"
It’s impressive nonetheless. She has great teqnique
i got dizzy just by looking at it
I cant Evan do one 😅🤣
Not even kidding I have a friend with the exact same name and from a decent distance away they look similar so this was super weird, it ain’t my friend tho cause she hasn’t ever taken a dance class lol
Ouch
Now left.
Jk lol 😂
😜😂
I’m gonna start doin ballet but are ballet teachers mean!? 😭 they seem to be loll
I bet they are all thinking "show off" 😁
🤣likely
Looks like they're jealous. She's practicing how she needs to. Maybe if they practiced more they'd be able to do the turns instead of side eye her because she can do them.
i doubt it. they’re probably used to it by now and when practicing turns it’s about doing as many as you can
@@MissedUniverse_Cos they just look tired lol they’re not giving here the side eye
Bruh she has a built in gyroscope
C’est bien mais ça devient du cirque c’est plus de la danse
The first was just class. The goal is to practice as many as possible to make the latter easier.
but what even happened to her though?
She quit cold turkey. Just like her partner Theo who won YaGP.
her feet must be in major pain then lol
Amazing, but i don't see the point in doing this. Putting the music in a loop, changing the choreography of a classic, to show what? No professional dancer will be asked to do such a thing in her career. This is silly, just circus.
I think it's worth 'overshooting' to some extent in the studio (maybe not this much haha!). Being able to do more than 32 means that those 32 that you do on stage will be super secured. Not to disagree with your point, just a thought
@@Hannah-bw9tu I agree! but NOT on stage, please...
@@aliceswanderland true! I'd rather see artistry and expression than 90 something fouettes on stage. If we did that what makes dance different from gymnastics? lol
Bro now people can't show their special talent or skill anymore. Yall making these ridiculous arguments like... This isn't a video for auditions or her career it's just a fucking normal cool video of a girl posting her skills online. It doesn't have a deeper meaning so yall can stfu and stop trying to judge people cuz you know everything BETTER.
Why do you repeat things when you study?
I don’t understand this. It felt boring and repetitive, with a complete lack of imagination and artistry. But then again I’m not a ballet dancer, so maybe mind-numbing repetitions is the purpose of ballet?
She's just showing off now many fouettés she can do. It's usually 32.
No, you're right. It's incredibly impressive but dance is more than just a million fouettés. It's the non dancers that need to be impressed in order to gain audience, and if you found it boring, well then.
This is a training, not a show or performance lol
It’s not about the showmanship in this case it’s about her skill in doing this because fouettés are hard. The first part is just a regular class
@@Irenelovesnoodle Maybe it was wrong of me to come into this video with the expectation of being entertained. To be honest, I stopped watching after about 25s so maybe it gets better by the end since the video is almost 3min long. But I would get the same entertainment value if she did just a single of these spins, then put the video on repeat/loop for 3 mins. And I'm sure they're hard to do (I probably can't even do one). However, marathons are also hard to do, but during the Olympics, no TV station would show a full marathon because that's just monotonous, repetitive, tedious, dreary, mundane and boring (see what I did there?).
And to the comment saying that someone does 32 of these in a ballet show...did the choreographer just give up or something? Reminds me of when my English teacher had to sub in for the gym teacher and just made us run laps around the gym for 40 mins because: a) he was pre-occupied reading his new novel and b) he couldn't care less about physical education.
