No, my little brother never smiled in photos either once he got past five...unless he was bribed, then it was pure CHEESE. Think it's just a tradition for Asian little brothers to have permanent serious/grumpy face.
The entire "Kids Meet" series is so wonderful, as they encounter folks with disabilities, special occupations or who don't meet societal norms - their questions are always open, pertinent and polite. It's a great channel to watch, and perfect for other kids to watch as well.
One of the sweetest episodes was the one in which children met a lady who was 101 years old (I think she was a retired professor, but I'm not sure.) The kids were fascinated by her description of what childhood was like when she was growing up, and she clearly enjoyed sharing her experiences with them. It was delightful!
Hi! Speech pathologist here. That precious little girl with the articulation errors actually doesn’t have a lisp. She has an /r/ distortion and I believe I heard a touch of deaffrication. :) A lisp is a term for difficulty with /s/. I love your reactions! This is such a sweet video.
@@missygee531 oh no that must be a nightmare my parents call me missy as a nickname, btw I love the name Missy sorry that sounds weird but Missy sounds so pretty.
When I was 6, i got into a ballet class and I don't remember much of it, but a thing that is fixed in my memory forever was when the teacher let us see the olders' reheasal and I saw a solist part of the choregraphy on pointe and that was the moment I got obsessed with dancing, it was so pretty and emotional I had to stop doing classes because of money but when I was 12 I could start dancing again, this is the exact moment I fell in love with dancing and this video made me remember that, so cute!
Oh man, the one they did where kids met an ex member of the Westboro Baptist Church had me bawling. This one kid asked such insightful questions, and another displayed such empathy. It was intense!!
This reminds me of the little dancers at my studio! I’m a student teacher and I help with RAD primary ballet and they always say “Miss Emily, when can you show us your pointe shoes?!” It’s ADORABLE!!!
Awww I'm currently an RAD student (I'm 15 and soon to do my intermediate exam to go into Adv found). Even though I'm not a teacher I definitely get younger kids wanting to see our pointe shoes haha They're like "can I see a twirl??" Referring to a pirouette of course and ugh they're so cute.
Josephine's reaction is literally mine right now! I have two kids, and when I get dressed up, my two year old daughter says, "oooo pwetty dwess Mommy!!"
As a first grade teacher, I must say that I agree with you. Yes, kids are ADORABLE!!!!! It’s why I’ve been teaching for 24 years. I hear the lisps all day long and they are so cute!!!! And yes, the little Asian boy was SO CUTE AND SWEET! Send him to my classroom NOW!!!!!!
Hihokids are so awesome, they’ve all grown up so much since this video but I love these kids so much. I think. The lisp is Clara when she was tiny and she was my absolute FAVORITE
I love Josephine so much ; A ; I did ballet for about 5 years when I was a child but my teacher was so strict and very hard on me about my weight (I couldn't dance on stage because I was a chubby child) so I ended up quitting. If I had seen Josephine back then I think I would've stuck it out! She's so inspiring and kind and beautiful! I appreciate all the content she is creating here. :) Thank you Josephine!
The pandemic has been hard and we all missed our families. I haven’t seen my son for 2 and a half years… I used to see him every 4 or 6 months so it’s been really really hard. For Josephine to show her emotions like this is frickin adorable 🥰🥲🩰
There was this video on the today show a couple days ago of a little girl with cerebral palsy who was in the Nutcracker this year and it is such a sweet video I think you should react to it! It warmed my heart so much and made me cry❤️☺️
Josephine, don’t worry about tearing up because I was right there with you!!! Kids are so funny!! You never know what will come out of their mouths!! So cute!! 💗💗💗
Haha, I totally feel you Josephine. Every time some kid reminds me of my almost 6 years younger sister as a kid or her wonderful children, I'm instantly tearing up. Don't know why, but it totally makes me emotional and proud and full of love.🤭💕 These kids in the video are soooo cute.😍
I hoped I am not accused of being bigoted or racist but Asian children are usually the most polite, well mannered and we'll spoken children I've ever met and it speaks to the way these children are raised and the standard that is set at home.
Josephine’s reactions to the kids is so funny! As someone who works with small children, yes it is like being a celebrity. One of my two year olds came to school wearing a tutu last week, it was the cutest thing
As someone who has worked with small children and school agers and is a teacher in training. It’s so true. They are so excited to see you and give you hugs. If you ever feel bad about yourself that day- instant cure.
It doesn’t matter how cute a kid is if they are a brat I ain’t dealing W them however if they are polite like the kids in this video that only makes them so much cuter and more pure 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️
I totally get feels when I run into someone who reminds me of my brother, too-- just haven't seen him in way too long, and he's one of my favorite people. Big sister solidarity.
Omg Josephine this video was so stinking precious seeing those adorable babies meeting a ballerina for the first time.......omg I got emotional seeing you get emotional
Kids are the best people to have meet new and interesting people. They ask legit questions and really want to listen! I'm 10 and I'm kinda sad I'm not little :(
I was so confused because I was listening and had captions on, and when the girl asked, “Have you ever been dropped?” The captions said, “Have you ever been drunk?” 😂
Hey I know you probably won’t see this but I just want to tell you that you have always made me smile and made me work harder to reach my dreams as a ballet dancer and I’m getting my first pair of points shoes in January and I want to thank you for making me work harder and making me think I can reach my dreams
Vincent is so handsome! Your family has good genes as you are stunning! …and please stop crying because you have Me sitting here tearing up for no reason too…LoL! God I Love this Channel! You are so relatable. Thank you for being so REAL. I just love you and what you do.
Aw, Josephine, when you started to cry...it made me feel 😧😄🤗😉😋💖💚❤🧡💛💙🤎❣ My brother is 10yrs younger than me and we are estranged now, but I do miss the kid he was. And he is asking really relevant questions too. Josephine can you please stop saying things I am about to write! I was going to say that he was very well mannered too. But I don't know why, 😠 people keep misleading everyone about the mysteriously wooden block. But can I just say, that I am happy that YOU mention and correct these things for the more mature crowd! Thank you for being a real professional fitter, educating us, with such a passion for your work and caring, about each and every one of your customers and the hilarious reaction videos. You are an absolute gem and I hope that you have a great time over the holidays and I look forward to more videos in the coming year. Take care honey, 🥰😀😘💝💝💝👋👍👏🩰🥿❣
im part of a program at my dance school that does student teaching, and so this year i help out with the junior music theatre jazz class (what i started in btw). we had one girl trying out the class and she goes to me and says "are you a profesional ballerina?" and my heart melted at that moment because she said it so genuinely it was so cute :')
Josephine, I am six years older than my baby brother and I get it. My son looks a lot like him and sadly my brother died a few years ago and sometimes I will do something with my son that reminds me of helping my brother when we were kids and it will hit me that he's gone. But other times he will smile and look just like a memory of my brother and it will make me happy.
this is so cute! I wanna be a ballerina when I get older! I just got my first pair of pointe shoes and every time I see a ballerina it makes me excited for when I grow up
This is so cute. I am a "self taught ballet dancer" because I learned off the internet since I couldn't afford classes and it I normal for me when I am talking to my friends and they look down and tell me what are you doing because I am just casually in turn out or in fifth position. Most of the time is not intentional and sometimes it is just comfortable
Josephine being excited about kids is the cutest thing I saw today
irk 😂🤣
Those kids were pretty darn adorable 🥰
yeah
This is the cutest thing ever 😭😭
@@ambriaashley3383 i full heartedly agree 😩✋
Josephine being a proud older sis got me crying too
kids are really the cutest (except when they scream and or cry)
When that happens to me I spend like 6 hours crying to dog videos before I realize I'm about to get my period 🤣
No, my little brother never smiled in photos either once he got past five...unless he was bribed, then it was pure CHEESE.

I was hoping someone would come on here and clarify - just out of curiosity myself. Thank you.
I have a lisp...cannot still say my "s" and my name is Missy!
@@missygee531 oh no that must be a nightmare my parents call me missy as a nickname, btw I love the name Missy sorry that sounds weird but Missy sounds so pretty.
Yep. I am tongue tied and had the same issue and speech classes were the worst. I still slip into it sometimes.
@@Roseannabetty me too, thats my nickname. i love it. Yes and its hard for me to say! ;) 🎀 ;)
This is so adorable. Cute kids and sweet adults interacting is one of the best things ever.
Best part of this video by far is how much Josephine loves her brother.
Yesss her family picture was just SO cute ☺️
This is so incredibly sweet! From the serious questions these kids had to the earnest tries of the jumps and turns-- has me in tears.

I lost it at the end when the girl turned around and ran back to hug the dancer.
The Ballerina was so sweet with the kids, made me all squishy inside. Just amazing! Thank you for sharing.

Josephine seems like the most wholesome person in the world! Thank you for this video!
