    The Fallout Doomsday mod for Darkest Hour features 3 mexican factions: The New Republic of Mexico, the Mayan Empire and the Mexican Raiders. All of them are self explanatory by their name. The raiders control Monterrey and the north, the NROM control the City of Mexico and Veracruz areas and the Mayan Empire control the Yucatan peninsula. Baja California usually ends under the control of Caesar's Legion or the NCR.

    There is a city we have seen wiped out completely wiped out but rebuilt, San Francisco. The Shi rebuilt it along with other people living in the ruins and in Fallout 4 in Kellogg's memory we can see that he was born in San Francisco, now annexed by the NCR said the radio host.

      Same, it sounds like it could be fun to explore, and really it's one of the easiest foreign nations they could do as they're next door to the US so they could get away with more of squeezing in the Enclave, BOS or NCR, Canada is the 2nd one

      Actually speaking of the NCR, they could make a game with a similar approach to how RDR did it, with San Diego and Tijuana being the major cities to explore, allowing you to stay north and venture south of the border

    I wrote a small or future fallout piece that involved what happened to Mexico and what remains as a fun little experiment. Before the Great War, there was a powerful business man from Texas name Chris Ryser. He owned vast tracks of farm land, real estate, oil rigs, and even produced weapons for the US. Nothing experimental, he mainly owned the factory production lines. During his life he grew a big family(13 sons to be exact which will become important later), and was quite religious, in fact so religious that when an influential preacher from Europe(who was also once a European Commonwealth soldier and veteran of the Middle Eastern War) began preaching about the Great War and visions of the apocalypse, he believed him and soon focused his own efforts into creating underground vaults in various Texas cities. He being in direct competition with Vault-Tec in the region became quite problematic and one too many assassination attempts led him to begin really pushing his Vaults as the alternative to Vault-Tec. Unlike Vault-Tec, there was little cost to entrance and he had no plans for experimenting on his participants. In the Vaults he also had live stock and various animal species DNA viles so they could re-populate the world for food. With weapons from his Industrial stockpile, he produced a power contender for the future. Soon when the Great War began, the more religious folk and those who bought into the apocalypse talk soon traveled to these massive bunkers. When the fires settled Chris Ryder died at the old age of 87 in 2097. His sons, even as old as they were, rose up and contacted the various Ryder vaults and gathered in Dallas, Texas to figure out a plan. Soon they discovered that Mexico wasn't hit nearly as bad as America so they traveled down south and set up shop in the Veracruz region. Along the way they met up with various Vault-Tec vaults who joined them and gave them their GECK, while also meeting up with US military down in Mexico. The Confederation of Columbia was established and the 13 sons divided the region amongst themselves as 13 states with the sons being the ruler of each. A hereditary republic was formed and slowly began to rebuild while pushing the local Mexican population out.
    Meanwhile, the New American Church was set up and became the state religion of Columbia. They preached all across Mexico and with the business power of Columbia, English became the de facto language of the reason as Spanish died out. One person who didn't like this was a powerful mercenary known as Samuel Diego. In response to the growing Anglicization, he took control of Mexico city and like Caesar's legion, look to the past for inspiration, renaming his kingdom as the Aztec Empire. He even brought back human sacrifice and incorporated the worship of Santa Muerte into his new Empire. The two factions went to war but with the bickering of the Elders and even those joining up with the Aztec a new leader was needed. So the Columbians opted for the election of a dictator, and ended up choosing military General Robert Morden as Lord-Protector of Columbia. The war soon went in his favor but he began to have head pains and hired a local farm boy to soothe him, James Austin. You can probably imagine where this is going if you know the story of King David. Essentially, James goes out to battle some massive brute that all the soldiers are afraid of and defeats him in hand to hand combat. He becomes a popular Commander and beats back multiple times the Aztec. The church also grows exceptionally fond of him as well, largely due to a falling out between them and Morden. Morden tries to have James assassinated but a priest protects his escape, which gets him hanged as a result. Completely angered the Church tries to dethrone Morden, but he refuses and uses his military power against them. At a huge battle Morden is killed, and James returns and the Church crowns him Emperor of a new Holy Columbian Empire. They finally defeat the Aztecs, burn Mexico City and rename it Washington City. Religiously Protestant, their ideological view is that Secular Democracy and science without God led to the destruction of the old world and that the path to a new tomorrow is walking side by side with God. They even outlaw slavery and various post-war "enjoyments" we'll say. The Emperor holds nearly all the power with the Priests and Nobles below him, and below them is the military and below them in everyone else. With Southern Mexico under one banner the Holy Columbian Empire soon expands and years after the Battle of Hoover Dam comes into conflict with the NCR and the Legion.
    Military: They are very modern military with re-modeled T-51bs that look like Medieval Crusaders no less. Utilizing Combat Armor for standard troops, slightly edited Advanced Combat Armor for Imperial Commandos, horseback cavalry with gas masks and Wattz Laser rifles. Even got tanks and vertiberds. Currently as of this story they control most of Mexico, Central America and Louisiana. With a puppet state in Texas and parts of the South.

    México city Is like the largest and more populated city in the world i think. Or used to. It's in the top ten nonetheless. No doubt a ranch in Hidalgo helping people would get crouded fast. in the recent earthquake most of us helped each other any way we could tho. It kind of proves we fuck with each other until shit goes really bad. And a lot of people are really generous here. Especially those who have less or started from the bottom.

    • @nvRanger
      @nvRanger  6 лет назад +3

      For sure, it's good to see people come together in times like that. A sense of community is really drawn from instances where people have to come together. This Hidalgo Ranch scenario showed that but also showed how it can go wrong in such a terrible disaster regardless of the people.

    3:46 this is also supported by the invention of the stimpak
    For those uneducated on what actually is a stimpak: put simply, its stem cells injected into the host to repair or replace tissue, within a degree of injury. For example, if I had gotten shot in a organ, but my organ was still present and living to some degree, let's take the liver for the sake of the arguement, a stimpak would be able to foster new cell growth to a certain extent repairing the organ. However if I were to loose an arm? Loose the organ completely? No go. Only goes so far. Also, radiation drugs. Which may directly affect cancer cells and how they grow.

    Again another excellent and interesting video! Maybe try adding an intro or fan images or something like that would be nice and appreciated. Keep going with these. Also quick question that's been on my head for a while, what happened to horses in the Fallout Universe? Seriously I've had "Ghost Riders in the Sky" on my head and I can barely find any information or discussions regarding it.

    • @nvRanger
      @nvRanger  7 лет назад +1

      Haha, appreciate that. Hmm, honestly I would assume sadly they haven't written anything specific on horses and sum it up to extinction, however we got rad stags and all sorts of wild life from Fallout 4 and it's DLC's so I wouldn't be surprised if it got added in a future title. That said an interesting video idea, even doing multiple animals.
      In terms of fan art, I generally don't like to over load that because it is other peoples work. I'm sure 99% wouldn't care and I do it occasionally however I try to limit it.

During the great war, what was left was nuked even further to the point that there's no chance anything is left. The level of devestation of pre greatwar Europe is already on the level of post great war America.
