Implying a dictatorship would've ended better? Also, by 2077, the U.S. was literally being run by a shadow government of the most wealthy and influential: The Enclave. Also, House seemed to conveniently leave out *the resourceless communist Chinese who were on the brink of total collapse and about to die anyway, aka the most plausible cause of the nuclear war.* Besides, it's not like the US being democratic caused oil reserves to run out and the resource wars to begin. Hell, *they were attacked first by China.* Honestly, people put so much stock into that statement, but outside of a VERY desperate situation not involving the fate of the world and nations, autocracies have *always* failed and will continue to do so.

What i love about the NCR is that they strive to achieve the glory of old United States, things like freedom and liberty. Ironically the United States in Fallout Universe is nothing like what the NCR envisioned.
If I recall, the Fallout universe splits from ours right after WW2, so they're probably emulating that version of the US and not the "1950s forever capitalism and corruption" pre-war government of the 2070s.
Sure, if Vault City didn't closed itself off from the now Wasteland. Redding is now like Filly and Governmint since it's broke, New Reno and Baja officially broke off since they heard the good news of Shady Sands and no leadership to keep them in line. "It's all over, but the crying"
Democracy, equality, and basic rights for all are worth protecting, even if that democracy is flawed. It's a nice lesson, I hope we all learn it someday.
@BirthOfSerpents, except that's not always the case. Typically, when there's equality, there's a lot less of a chance for revolt, meaning everyone wants to fight happily, so what you just spouted out was bullshit.
Do you think they have a capable leader after Tandi? No, they don't have any anymore. Ever since they start bitching around to the West Coast BoS that causes them to lose all of their gold reserves that causes and the reason why they're using bottle caps as currency and worsen their situation after all of that bad events.
After Tandi god rest her soul, the republic fell down a hell hole of weak and corrupt politicians like Kimball. Any sense of the virtue that Tandie worked for is gone, replaced with the greed and ambitions of a bunch of fat Brahmin Barons.

Deploy soldiers. Not different. As Benny put it, "only difference is they pass laws to make their crimes legal before they commit them. " . Just as its "legally" "their land" now. Suddenly the people living there is illegal. Common situation. Which a lot of Mojave locals complaining.
General Oliver: Noooo, you can't just create your own nation!

The Fallout Frontier mod seems promising for be a continuation of New Vegas.
Gianni Pinotto I thought it was a prequel.
The Eternal Chronicler Fallout New California is a prequel
Fallout Cascadia mod will also involve the NCR, as a neutral faction ot seems, waiting to see the how the Cascadian civil war goes. Check out the Fallout Cascadia RUclips page, they got a couple trailers and constant updates
Cascadian Ranger
I have seen them already and they are good ! there is also one project called Fallout Miami.
Anyway the Frontier deserve to be checked it s not bad.
And there should be already playable a multiplayer mod for New Vegas. Lol the prologue (jk) of Fallout 76.
I never heard of fallout frontier
But a project named fallout 4 new vegas looks really promising and a lot of progress has been already done on it
_“If you want to see the fate of democracies, look out the windows.”_ - Robert House
The People's Republic of Utah can I hug you for just the fact you typed all of this?
Moon Seal
Communisme must be eliminated
The People's Republic of Utah The NCR is already run by the wealthiest trading companies n brahmin barons, so much for being better than the united states.
House is the only one with the knowledge to reindustrialise a nation fast. He's said he did not want to interfere with people's private business and there really is no evidence against it. He ensured the world wasn't engulfed by many more radioactive flames by sending disarming codes to many nukes in orbit. He only engages in voluntary contracts and the only times he commits "atrocities" (in a drug and crime ridden wasteland) is to punish his enemies.
Give him 20 years and New Vegas will be the best place to live in the Wasteland.
He has a vision, knowledge, the intelligence and the means to get to his vision. I will prefer House any day over the corrupt NCR. Even if the streets are cold and clean.
Brodaviing lol house doesn't really care for the people. Its why freeside is a slum. If he won it would still be centered around him as the main oligarch. Sure he had plans to eventually go to space but in the mean time he's not helping out the people of the Mojave. He's just like the institute
My courier had a simple philosophy: Vegas should be free to govern itself, but if I have to help either Caesar’s Legion or the NCR, well, the NCR will be easier to keep out of Vegas... help them, but make it clear that they are not welcome.
Cesar dies: Legion falls apart. NCR prez dies: Recover and election time.
A hydra is harder to kill than a bull.
This channel is like some library that provides an insight to the factions of other fictional worlds...I love it!
Who else is here to remind them selves what the NCR actually is after watching the fallout show.
The NCR is still around. They just lost their capital.
@@Krovos_well they also lost their leadership, their economy, their virtue, their 2 states like New Reno and Baja after they took advantage of Shady Sands Destruction and conquest and became independent once again. All that's left are tribal raiding bands and those closing themselves in vaults that bear the symbol of the bear.
Waaah! My favorite faction was crippled!

I don't think we are as advanced as the fallout's america before it was nuked. They have laser rifles, power armor, smart robots like mr handy and others.

I've just bought New Vegas and its amazing, cant wait to see what more it can offer.
Big Zed I have over 540+ hours on ONE character and I still find new shit I skipped over. You're going to have a VERY good time my friend.
@@samuelwithers2221 nah, sorry thats BS. I have 600 hours total. You cant get one 500 hours in one character, the content worth are around 50 hours in one playthrough. I *really* like the way they dealt with the multiple endings in Fallout: New Vegas. The way they said “some say this, while others say this” was a very clever way of telling us the full story. Well done

Amazing work as always, Templin Institute! I'd love it if you would eventually get to doing the Institute, Brotherhood of Steel (Both East and West Coasts), Caesar's Legion, and Railroad as time goes on. Good luck going into the future!
Long live the Republic.

Shady sands may have fallen! BUT THE REPUBLIC WILL STAND!
Sure, if Vault City didn't closed itself off from the now Wasteland. Redding is now like Filly and Governmint since it's broke, New Reno and Baja officially broke off since they heard the good news of Shady Sands and no leadership to keep them in line. "It's all over, but the crying"

This is the best episode you guys have made, I keep coming back to it at 11:43 at night
Democracy, equality, and basic rights for all are worth protecting, even if that democracy is flawed. It's a nice lesson, I hope we all learn it someday.
Wafflepudding Agreed. New Vegas has the Republic at it's worst, while Caesar and House are at their best.
@BirthOfSerpents, except that's not always the case. Typically, when there's equality, there's a lot less of a chance for revolt, meaning everyone wants to fight happily, so what you just spouted out was bullshit.
BirthOfSerpents Rome was an empire for hundreds of years before it collapsed; it stopped being a democracy hundreds of years before, dumbass
Semi- democracy is better .

Quoting Ulyssies is always a great way to end a video
Ok so ive just watched all the fallout factions and all the other factions i love thank you for that
"...distinguished and capable politicians of old" I wish it was so in the current US.
Do you think they have a capable leader after Tandi? No, they don't have any anymore. Ever since they start bitching around to the West Coast BoS that causes them to lose all of their gold reserves that causes and the reason why they're using bottle caps as currency and worsen their situation after all of that bad events.
Kenneth Otano and even after all of that, we still stand!
After Tandi god rest her soul, the republic fell down a hell hole of weak and corrupt politicians like Kimball. Any sense of the virtue that Tandie worked for is gone, replaced with the greed and ambitions of a bunch of fat Brahmin Barons.
Awesome! Been waiting for an NCR vid! :) Love what you guys do, superb inspiration for whenever I’m writing up D&D sessions. Would be awesome to see your guy’s take on Polis, or one of the other factions from the Metro series somewhere down the line. :)
Yes! Finally! I'm so happy! :D
I love your channel, especially the way you use to tell the context in these fantastic worlds. In my opinion your channel is one of the best in RUclips.
Thank you so much for finally doing this one! It was great! I especially liked the ending line that drew inspiration from Ulysses's speech at the end of Lonesome Road
*NCR IS NOT YET LOST!*
Wow , i have seen every video in this channel and i allways love the ending phrases and the way they make their videos and how they put the music. This video was beatiful.
You should do a video on Mars or the Adeptus Mechanicus in Warhammer 40k as they are essentially an Empire within an Empire, Also this is one of my favorite channels on RUclips, the presentation and entire theme is amazing and very relevant to your type of video, keep it up.
I'm a new subscriber to the channel, and I am absolutely awestruck with the quality and work that's put into each video. Thanks for the work and time you guys put into every single video!
Also, if it's not out of order for me to make some recommendations in this comment as well, I have a few suggestions that I think would be great additions to the channel:
- The Order (from The Order: 1886)
- The factions of FFXV
- Abstergo Industries (from the Assassin's Creed franchise)
- Cyberlife (from Detroit: Become Human)
- The factions of the Homeworld franchise
- TranStar Corporation (from Prey 2017)
- International Contract Agency (from the Hitman franchise)
- The factions of the John Wick movie franchise
Thanks again for the work you guys put into every video; keep up the wonderful work!
Please make a examination of the Autobot or Decepticon faction from The Transformers franchise
Hmm. I like that idea.
Which universe though
The Michael Bay one of course. /s
Barnabus 78 G1 cartoon or TFP
Either would be fine or possibly even the IDW comic continuity

Population census from fallout 2 stated the population to be 700.000. Fallout New Vegas takes place 80 years after. Based on agrarian society growthrates it should be around 1.200.000 citizens (annexed populations and immigrants not included.)
