I don't think it went below like 48fps during movement/fighting, ya? I saw it soon lower when selecting a thing that opens a menu, but.. this seems fine to me.
have you played Bo Path of the Teal Lotus on the Switch? There are parts which are fluid and there are certain parts, I would say 30-40% of the game. where the framerate drops and it honestly sucks.
Totally agree. Anything above 30fps is perfectly playable, and this keeps above 50fps most of the time. Would like to see some more action heavy segments like a boss fight to confirm it doesn't experience slowdown. Ultimately, if you want to miss out on a great game due to slight framerate dips, it's your call, but I wouldn't even hesitate to buy this based on what I've seen from this clip
There are framerate dips like at the Four Seasons Pavilion, and its at its worst when at the Research Facility (It has like a really slow frame dip at the beginning, but clears up shortly after about 5 seconds). The one thing that has got me was when the game crashes when returning to the main hub after a boss fight. Not sure why it does that, but hopefully there will be a patch to address this. Its a fairly rare occurrence when it crashes (3 times total in my playthrough so far)
Cool go design a game with a large open explorable world and beautiful hand drawn 2d animation and fluid action and get it to run a perfect 60fps on seven year old hardware. Fucking loser.

Maybe its because I'm not framerate snob, but I'm not understanding the comments below me. It looks perfectly fine to me.

drops are worse than lower still fps,
but this one is ok i guess
It doesn’t even hate 60 fps consistently for a modern 2d game that’s horrible. If that looks good to you fine but that’s sub standard performance

Yeah theres always folks dogging on the switch's performance. Never fails....
I'm so happy with this 🤩

It looks like during gameplay it’s very close to 60. Just drops for menus and stuff. Not that bad
Just mod the switch and up all the clock speeds. Should hit 60 all the time.
Hopefully we get a patch cause this game should be a locked 60 just like hollow knight and ori and the blind forest
is there imput delay?
no
@@PixelacosGameplaysTV really, like nothing at all?
mmm, nope
so no fluid 60 fps. but it would be more helpful to record mid/end game sequences
yees, would be nicer if they kept it a consistent 45
Yeah, it's a pass for now with those jerky framerates.
It’s like 45-50 frame rates for a 2d game lmaoo that’s so bad
