    I'm certainly using some of these! I love how you said those rotating drills don't apply to game (9:55), but as someone who plays 3x3, it 100% applies to my game. Would be crazy to shoot right off of clearing the ball. And to think I never thought of practicing that 😅

    There are a lot of workouts for on this channel now, shooting off the catch, getting downhill, finishing drills etc. How do I decide what things to work on, when to work on a new workout, when to stop doing it but maintaining the skills I learned?

      you should watch his videos on how to structure your schedule. all these workouts will never stop being effective. It's just your decision on which ones you want to master

    Hey coach why does it feel like Curry's hard shots look different from Kyrie's, Dame's and Murrays shot. Like it looks different. Also how many shots should i take a day and per week. I took 300 shots and my forearm literally feels sore like what's the ideal number for a intermediate shooter(i make open 3s in game like 30% of the time. wide open maybe 50% on a good day)

      @TeoBounce Год назад +1

      different forms and habits, at the end of the day if it works it works, bro make sure you get form shots every time to start off. if you want to be a good shooter you have to hit above 70% when your training by yourself.

    • @niconiconii4561
      @niconiconii4561 Год назад

      I think the difference is Curry has no two motion at all, whereas Kyrie Dame and Murray all can fall back on a two motion shot which their midranges often are (even though it looks similar, they often have a higher setpoint and slower release or even a double clutch). So for Curry, it's just the same shot. At any leg position, and direction. He just turns his body mid jump and it's the exact same shot anywhere. He just uses speed instead of verticality ("athleticism") when challenged which the other 3 you pointed out has on Curry.

    • @niconiconii4561
      @niconiconii4561 Год назад

      Secondly as the guy previously said, aim for 70% on your own practice, it will translate to roughly 40% in game when open. And there isn't an amount of 3s you need to hit, you need to hit the 3s right. So make sure every shot feels right, with the perfect form. Video yourself. Then add in drills, enough to feel challenged. 20 per spot as a warmup is fine. Get to drills. End the session with 5 straights free throws and 5 straight 3s.
