@John doue Quebec do u have access to a gym? If you do, then I reccomend u do dumbell overhead press, barbell overhead press, close grip bench press, incline bench, any rowing variation ( I recommend u do these exercises at least twice a week, one high rep/volume(at least 3 sets and 8 or more reps per excersise) day and one low rep/ intensity day (min 2 sets and max 5 reps per excersise) End ur workouts with facepulls (like 4 sets of 15-20 reps) Reverse flys ( 3 sets of 15) Tricep pushdown (3 or 2 sets of 20) Ur high rep or volume days should be no more than 45 minutes, the purpose is only to warm up and strengthen ur tendons and ligaments for the heavy day, which will improve shoulder strength and overall shoulder health, along with close grip bench to help with ur triceps as they are responsible for extending the forearm, like in a shot, the close grip and incline provide general chest strength and the row is used to fix posture issues and imbalances, If there's anything unclear let me know
@John doue Quebec I reccomend u order ur workouts as such Shoulder Chest Back Facepulls Pushdowns Reverse flys I also advise that u mix up the excercises like ex: Day 1 (low rep) Overhead press(ohp) Close grip bench Pendlay row ( just an example) Day 4 (ur muscles need are least 42 hours to recover fully, this is just an example) Dumbell ohp (sranding/sitting) Pause close grip bench( hold the bar at the bottom for about a sec or 2) Different row variation Day 6 (light/ high rep day) Ohp Incline bench Row variation I hope u get what I mean, ur high rep/mini workouts which last max 45 minutes but should last aprox 30 minutes can be done 24 hrs after a workout, nothing crazy, everything is high reps, like 15 minimum reps and the point is just to warm up the joints
@@cyr8xamv764 if ur a two form shooter, and u want body weight only excersises, do pushups, incline pushups( feet on a stool) close grip push ups. Clap pushups (to develop pure explosiveness which helps with recruiting muscle fibres quicker like when taking a shot) If u shoot in one fluid motion, alot of ur power will come from ur legs, so u squats and lunges for those, access to some weights would help speed up the process, but u can still increase upper body strength with bodyweight excercises, at least enough to help u shoot, I used to only do bodyweight exercises and my shots gradually gained power as I kept doing them. Good luck out there

What can I do about elbow flare, my coach was complaining about it the other day even tho I was making the majority of my shots and made me change my form. Should I stick with the new form or stay with the form that worked for me
A slight elbow flare, if you're shooting an incredibly high percentage, isn't the worst thing in the world!
@@DeepGameBasketball thank you so much
Do you have 10 toes to the rim?
@@gas7736 no I prefer to keep a 45-60 degree angle to the left
@@gas7736 that's outdated advice, top shooters in the nba almost never do that
I tried to log into the EGT website today and it’s not working. What should I do
does his practice give that outcome, though?
challenge to basketball trainer. 7 spot 3 point drill. all own rebounds, 63 of 78 made in 8 minutes.
do I have to snap hard when I flick the wrist
Is a push out crossover an inside out crossover?
No, a push out crossover is a crossover where you push out the ball with control and simultaneously move forward the foot on the side of the hand you’re pushing out the ball. Once you do that you bring the ball back to the opposite direction (aka your back foot)
I have completely given up on my dream of going to the NBA because I’m just slowly getting worse every single day it feels like
I shoot well in the beginning of the game but during late game when im tired im airballing alot. Tips?

is it ok if my shooting form is under my head ? i think it’s ugly shooting form but i’m comfortable
All I need is a video explain why u miss left and right. That’s THE only real problem I have
If your shooting correctly, you can’t miss left or right. You offhand is affecting your shot.
@@joshuamanimala1656 the problem I have is the my ball comes up the right side of my face and I shoot squared(not a tilt). say if I was shooting from the top of the key, would t the ball hit the right side of the back board every time if I was shooting straight?
It frustrates me how sometimes i can swish a deep three or a nice layup, then i cant make it for like the next 5 minutes , and also as soon as i enter a game its as if my form doesnt exist. Any help?
Practice more. I find that if you have good skills and good form, you will be confident in your shot. If you find that you can’t shoot or your “form doesn’t exist” that means you gotta practice practice and practice!
Facts💯
With a elbow that the fracture hasn’t heeled properly and having to wear a elbow support how can I get my shoots to follow through despite it’s restricted
Sounds like a you problem... jk that just means this guide isn't 100% for you. You have to find your shooting technique that fits your situation/body and practicing that.
Where should I aim when shooting?
...
At the basket
i never shoot in a stable position im like that small forward that alwas shoots drift shots and fades and idk last time i hooped i felt like my shots were by chance not skill
What cured my inconsistent shooting was jumping when I shoot and follow through with my form
How do I not miss short?
I know I’m 8 months late but try looking at the back of the rim and using your legs

During gym workouts, what is your suggested number of reps and sets? And how long is rest (interval between sets)?
I shoot for 4hours and dribble
''when you're shooting thousands and thousands of reps...'' Boy, we don't have the same schedule!

Where i can get my power to shoot in two motion form?
Upper body strength
@John doue Quebec do u have access to a gym?
If you do, then I reccomend u do dumbell overhead press, barbell overhead press, close grip bench press, incline bench, any rowing variation ( I recommend u do these exercises at least twice a week, one high rep/volume(at least 3 sets and 8 or more reps per excersise) day and one low rep/ intensity day (min 2 sets and max 5 reps per excersise)
End ur workouts with
facepulls (like 4 sets of 15-20 reps)
Reverse flys ( 3 sets of 15)
Tricep pushdown (3 or 2 sets of 20)
Ur high rep or volume days should be no more than 45 minutes, the purpose is only to warm up and strengthen ur tendons and ligaments for the heavy day, which will improve shoulder strength and overall shoulder health, along with close grip bench to help with ur triceps as they are responsible for extending the forearm, like in a shot, the close grip and incline provide general chest strength and the row is used to fix posture issues and imbalances, If there's anything unclear let me know
@John doue Quebec I reccomend u order ur workouts as such
Shoulder
Chest
Back
Facepulls
Pushdowns
Reverse flys
I also advise that u mix up the excercises like ex:
Day 1 (low rep)
Overhead press(ohp)
Close grip bench
Pendlay row ( just an example)
Day 4 (ur muscles need are least 42 hours to recover fully, this is just an example)
Dumbell ohp (sranding/sitting)
Pause close grip bench( hold the bar at the bottom for about a sec or 2)
Different row variation
Day 6 (light/ high rep day)
Ohp
Incline bench
Row variation
I hope u get what I mean, ur high rep/mini workouts which last max 45 minutes but should last aprox 30 minutes can be done 24 hrs after a workout, nothing crazy, everything is high reps, like 15 minimum reps and the point is just to warm up the joints
@@TheDarkNightRising will body ....weight workouts help...i m so weak my form changes when i go 3pt
@@cyr8xamv764 if ur a two form shooter, and u want body weight only excersises, do pushups, incline pushups( feet on a stool) close grip push ups. Clap pushups (to develop pure explosiveness which helps with recruiting muscle fibres quicker like when taking a shot)
If u shoot in one fluid motion, alot of ur power will come from ur legs, so u squats and lunges for those,
access to some weights would help speed up the process, but u can still increase upper body strength with bodyweight excercises, at least enough to help u shoot, I used to only do bodyweight exercises and my shots gradually gained power as I kept doing them. Good luck out there
bro I shoot 53% from 3pt but 35% from free throws wtf
😂😂wtf
Now you know what to practise
My man said cure like its some health issue 😂.
Why before this i can shoot like 70% consistent but suddenly now my consistent drop to below 50%... i dont know what i did wrong
Anyone shoot really well and just lose all ability to shoot out of nowhere
Mine is consistent tbf, it's just consistently bad
