I think the problem, is thinking that the transwoman is a bad or tempting person. Transwomen are people, they aren't representations of the devil or sin.
I spent many years working for a company that was the largest internet retailer of adult DVDs. The "shemale" category (sorry, that what it was called) were most popular in red states. It was also the most popular genre out of all of the in Salt Lake City. We weren't allowed to ship directly there so tons of people got PO boxes outside the city limits.

And you have to remember that sexual orientation etc. Typically happens at a very young age, so the idea that all of a sudden, in your mid 20s or later you start getting into weird things is clearly caused by pornography consumption, not some new discovery about your sexuality. The porn caused the attraction. They were not interested in minors when they first started watching porn. Same goes with trans. Do you understand?

My wife used to work for an aid’s research center tracking the spread of HIV. One of the communities she researched was of people on “the down low.” This was the street term but the clinical term was called “MSM. Men having sex with men.” These men do not consider themselves as gay. They believe there is a culture that comes with being gay. So they never considered themselves as gay. As someone who has gone years at a time without a partner (or even worse, being with a dysfunctional partner) or a IRL friend to confide in, I've flirted with cynicism/hopelessness about ever finding healthy human connection, but I decided to work on loving myself more and then putting myself out there without being attached to the outcome. I can confidently say that not only has this more Buddhist approach resulted in way more female attention than I'm used to, I'm much more accepting of myself and at peace, regardless of the outcome.

As a gay man with a Grindr account, this guy pisses me off. I've lived on army bases for most of my adult life. Around 2016 I started seeing a lot of "discreet" profiles showing up looking for "fem or trans women." That is fine. I would never shame someone's sexuality. However, these are the same individuals that 1) have families, 2) go to church and spread hatred against the lgbt community and 3) support politicians that have terrible policies on LGBT rights. These men will screw with people in our community and stab them in the back when it comes to supporting them. It's as shameful as he says but for different reasons.

That is super true lol. I live in Tennesse and a report came out about our state's most searched porn terms and it was eye opening. Also it's kind of sad because I know a lot of people are not living true to who they are for whatever reason. It's stupid when talking about guns, because their use is to blow holes in things, especially people. Just because Christianity has been used (a lot) for evil, greedy purposes, doesn't mean that's its sole use.

I grew up in the church and completely understand this guy's dilemma when it comes to being taught you're not allowed to be a sexual being and you're "dirty" for expressing what is just natural. I feel for him and hope he leaves his cult and is able to be a complete human being.
