There's no doubt that Georgia is still the strongest team, and the drop off isn't even close. They play conservatively against nobodies, then bust out the good play book when playing other good teams.

Anyone who actually watches football knows that Georgia is NOTORIOUS for playing down to competition but gets up for the good teams. They’ve been doing this for years now and yet SOMEHOW people still haven’t seemed to get the message, talking about how “overrated” they are lol. Oh well, another week, another W.
Long story short, Georgia is STILL the best team in the country. Underestimate them if you want, it’ll be your favorite team’s funeral.

I was at the game! Man that was the most relaxed I’ve ever been watching a 7:30pm sec game. When me and my dad got chic fil a at the half we saw a bunch of Kentucky fans leaving the game. Poor fellas they traveled all this way. Carson Beck balled out that day!

This has been the pattern for the third year in a row from the sports pundits - "Georgia's overrated and will be tested by (X team) who is really putting things together now." As a Kentuckian whose family member played basketball under Rupp and later had a leading role in the athletics dept at EKU I enjoy UK sports. I'm not a die-hard fan, and I definitely realize it just kids playing a game and being given the opportunity to get an education just like other universities. The good seasons come and go in both football and basketball and I salute all these guys hard work and dedication to give us the enjoyment and opportunity to wat h them play.

Okay, so as far as college football overall, I still believe Georgia is the best right now. Still most likely to 3-peat. What Kirby Smart has done in Athens is nothing short of amazing. Ohio State/Michigan may be the closest to UGA but we saw what happened last year vs Ohio State in the playoffs and the same team that beat Michigan got molly whopped by UGA in the championship. Sorry Kuno, but we know OU’s loss to Iowa State or some random Big 12 team is coming, Texas may be decent but they got promoted too fast after a win over average Bama squad, the ACC is once again legit with 2-3 teams but no real threats, Pac-12 is slightly underrated this year, and I can go on and on but that’s my little college football round up at the moment.
Man there is no way Georgia will threepeat. They lost to many players on defense. If Georgia has to play anyone in the top four they would lose they almost lost to a terrible Auburn team. If Auburn had a real QB they would have blown Georgia out of that game. Auburn ran the ball down their throats. I just hope Georgia has to play Alabama in the SEC they have a nasty defense you will find out then how good or bad Georgia really is. Georgia can't afford to lose a game this year cos they play a cupcake 🧁🧁🧁🧁 Schedule if the lose they gonna fall hard in the standings without a big win to make it back in the top 4. What I am thinking is that UK lost a ton of people on defense between last year and this year. Georgia's offense was able to cut through it like cheese. Then I look up the score this morning and it was like Georgia was playing and FCS team.

This game was either gonna make or break georgia in my eyes. And what I saw is a pretty decent team with room to improve with consistency but a elite offense and a chance to win another natty.
Same old issue at Kentucky. Their schedule is super soft with 4 cupcakes and then a down Florida team. So they are NOT battle hardened when they face really good team on the road. For once, I'd like to see the cats play a power conference ranked team in September!
