Haven’t watched Missouri this year until this game. They’re talented and good. They hung with Georgia evenly until the last half of the fourth quarter.

Hats off to Schrader, he played like a monster. Mizzou, you played almost perfectly, UGA just outlasted your efforts. Good game.
Credit to Mizzou really; solid tackling and edge rushing pretty much the whole game keeping Beck uncomfortable.
UGA’s defense didn’t do a great job situationally on 3rd downs; but created a couple turnovers that probably sealed it.
Both RBs ran tough against some very tough sledding; that’s just a tough game on both sides. Good preparation from Mizzou.
Georgia rgia needed a rough game like this to keep them ultra focus throughout the remainder of this playoff run..every team want to kill the beast . Yet the beast still live to dogs..good game fighting tigers now go thump Tennessee.

@@jamesswain2465 Well, just about every year that I can remember Ohio State gets ranked pretty highly. Their conference isn't particularly good except maybe 2-4 teams. That even might be a stretch. Comparatively, the SEC is more challenging. With the addition of Texas and Oklahoma it will be even more so.

I didn't expect Mizzou to prevail, but other than a couple of mistakes, they gave a very good accounting of themselves.
They cannot turn the ball over, that killed them.
Those two interceptions were horrible .
@@RB01.10You could literally feel the pressure UGA injected to force those interceptions. It’s sort of strange… maybe a premonition. But when the plays started I knew before hand that those were coming. Almost like some sort of weird Deja Vu.
It really doesn't matter what we are ranked right now what matters is what we are ranked at the end of the season regardless we would have to win 2 games no matter what in the playoffs GO DAWGS

People forget that this mizzou team had 2 weeks to prepare for this game and a veteran D-line full of juniors and seniors…for this reason Georgia struggled to really run the ball.
It's amazing that Georgia is undefeated with so many players injured from week one. Mizzou played well but let's not forget they had two weeks to prepare and rest. If Georgia beats Ole MIss they clinch the East - or if Mizzou beats Tennessee - either way.
Missouri could have stayed in this game if they could cover better and keep pressure on the Quarterback everything else was in the their hands ,, they just don’t do enough to beat Georgia

The year Alabama beat UGA in the SEC championship, a lot of Georgia fans were calling out the offensive scheme. Even more so talking about why Ladd was getting more playing time than other talented guys. Brother as a Bama fan then and still one now, #84 is a dang good football player. The only way you can beat god given size or speed is with knowledge and quickness and he is one of the smartest and quickest guys in college football.

Can somebody explain to me why this year's Nike Uniforms are so bad that the shoulder pads keep coming out. I liked it back in the day when they had longer sleeves and you didn't see this crap. My biggest takeaway from this game is that Georgia is not a national title caliber team right now. Getting beaten on both lines of scrimmage by Missouri is a very bad sign considering Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Alabama (assuming Georgia beats Ole Miss and Tennessee, which is certainly no guarantee after that performance) coming up.

Look for them to over perform next week. It's been a trend all season. Struggle win - blow the next one out. Auburn-Kentucky-Vandy-Florida-Mizzou-etc.
Playing with their food. Most dominant yes, but sometimes not mentally ready to execute. Look for that to change as each game gets more significant.
UGA did it last year too. It's easy to nitpick 9 point wins. But they're still wins. Just as good as a 50 burger.. which we'll see both again this year.

Mizzou fan here. I expected uga to win since our last game. Usually don't bring up refs but these guys were horrible. I'm sure UGA feels the same way about some calls and no calls. But feom a mizzou perspective on the Norwood PI call our rivals beat writer at the game said the ball was tipped at the OL(didn't see it on tv) and still called PI. I'm 100% positive on a LOS tip ball the no contact down field rule no longer applies.
Don't know if it changes the outcome but instead of shortly being 17-13 UGA it's 13-10 mizzou with the ball.
Then the PI called 5 minutes after the uncatxhable end zone heave to delp where two mizzou dbs were the closet to the ball and delp was breaking inside and ball went far outside.
Then to review and OPI call....PI isn't reviewable.
Goodluck uga or 'thuga' but our time is coming just gotta keep coaching em up, hit the portal for some upgrades and kick your ass next year.

Decent points, but Mizzou definitely had the refs of their side most of the game.
PI called on the UGA player when he didn’t even touch the Mizzou WR, several horse collar and face mask no calls from Mizzou, and a lot of no calls on really bad (literally tackling in some cases) hold calls on Mizzou OL.
Both teams had bad/no calls, but Mizzou without a doubt got the better calls by a mile.
Mizzou is easily a really good top 15 team, but you also played a UGA team without BB and two of their top tacklers.
@MrBlarginFlarg okay and you have a million 4 and 5 stars and not once did I feel in the game that uga was head and shoulders above mizzou. We got two five stars a couple 4 stars and 3 even two stars going toe to toe vs you and with you. I'm not making excuses for mizzou but you brought up BB being our and whoever else being out but if you won by 20 like Vegas and the talking idiots on TV expected you wouldn't be bringing up any of that. Again hope you don't lose until you play us next year. For the most part uga has the most respectable fans in the conference
