Georgia's pass rush are like heat-seeking missiles.
This was the first game all season where we got real good pressure on the QB, although half of it was how good our cbs and safety’s did at covering all the passes he had.
All credit to the secondary the past rush wasn’t that good and Hooker looked shook and didn’t run well when he had opportunities.

This was a humbling experience for the Vols. UGA has been there. I remember when Kirby first got us to the #1 spot and it was hard to hold. We got humbled real quick. Heupel is doing an outstanding job with TN. You all will bounce back. TN got them a coach. I see you all winning out ending the season with only one lost and a top 6 bowl game.

Although I probably wouldn't have torn down the goalposts, I was so glad to see ya'lls win against Alabama. Even as a Dawg fan, that to me was the game of the century.
Still an impressive season. There are not many teams that can say they're having better.

It was awesome. Ray Guy who passed away a few days ago is the measuring stick for punter greatness. Against Ole Miss Ray was seven yards deep in his end zone, he punted through the opposite end zone and the ball hit the fence 117+ yards away. He was the first punter ever drafted in the first round in the NFL.
@@jimbobjennings8266 That might be the longest punt, but this is definitely the best since it's 75 yards and pinned the opposing team inside their own 1 yard line instead of being a touchback.

He could have been a db in the NFL but he was the best punter ever. He never lost a game as the qb for Thomson High School, in Thomson, GA, his junior and senior years. I am just taking the opportunity to praise one of the greatest athletes that ever lived!

Dude the refs wanted the UGA defenders to let the Tennessee receivers catch the ball and run 5 yards before making contact with them. Every good defensive play was called a PI

The Neyland Stadium noise record on the third Saturday in October (Alabama game) was 125.4 dB. The previous record was 118 dB, which was during the Ole Miss game in 2021.
@@jaytea3633 Neyland gets really loud but it doesn’t have a reputation like Autzen or Death Valley. Part of that is architectural. Same thing with Michigan’s Big House. Neyland’s most raucous era was probably the 80s.
As a Georgia fan, I want to say, first congratulations to my Dawgs on the win today. Also congratulations to Tennessee on what they've accomplished so far this season.....and the season ain't over. They have alot of talented players. Wasn't sure how the game was gonna go today, but I knew very soon after game started (after Georgia's 1st possession turnover of course) that the Dawgs could very well win it. I will say this, I'm NEVER doubting Bennett again!!

I come back to this and watch it every now and then. The play that always stand out the most is the 75 yard punt to the 1 yard line. That maybe the best punt ive ever seen.
As a Vol fan, I said all week that our defense would be what made the difference in this game. And after the AP rankings came out that Georgia would take that personally. The Dawgs were prepared, and the Vols weren't. Congrats on a hard-fought game. The Dawg fans took Hendon COMPLETELY out of the game from start to finish. SEC football at its finest. An absolutely EARNED victory by the Dawgs.

I’m a uga fan. Love reading comments like yours from fans of other teams that are actually respectful like this because far too often, people have no respect for opposing teams / rivals. The Vols just didn’t play their best this day and it was obvious. Had they played their best in this game like y’all’s team did against bama, this would have been a very close game or even potentially a win for y’all! Your Vols ought to be a dangerous team this fall with coach Josh getting settled in and finding his flow in Knoxville plus all of the fresh young talent you all have coming in. It’s always a good game. With us having two losses a lot of miracles will have to happen for us to play Georgia in the SEC Championship. I am really disappointed in Tennessee and this game. I really wanted a good game in this but the right team deserved what they got. Tennessee really thinks they can sneak away with #1? This is what I'd been saying all week, TN isn't #1 in my mind, and won't be unless they beat #1, I was saying TN is a top 5 but Bulldogs are playing unlike any other team in the SEC. I had a feeling ya’ll were gonna win this one before it even started. Ya’lls defense is just too nasty. If we had to lose a game this year, I’m glad it was against the defending champs. But hey, at least Bama lost again today, so it’s not all bad. I can take comfort in that at least. When Bama loses, the rest of college football wins. 🙌
