The research you did is very commendable, Yb!!! Even the pronunciations, they aren’t bad! I am happy you enjoyed our street foods 😊 Eating chicken feet is just cleaning out the bones. All you’ll be able to get from it are the skin and the ligaments. I hope you have chicken head, balut, and one day old chick there it would be an interesting food to try 😅
You killed the pronunciation YB! Chicharon bulaklak is actually made of pork intestine. Bulaklak means flower. The ruffled parts of the innards look like flower petals when served, thus the name. You have to try the chicken intestine next time, especially if fried and dunked in vinegar. 😋 To eat the adidas, you just have to eat the meat part. Its like when you're finishing off a chicken leg/wing, you have to clean the last strands of meat out of the bone, if it makes sense 😂 i dont really like adidas coz i think im not getting any meat when i eat it. 😂 You also have to try "betamax" next time, its made of pork/chicken blood. And also for dessert you have to try Taho, its made of soft tofu, sago pearls and sugar. Always a delight to watch your food vlogs! ❤️
Oh man I’m missing Filipino street food so badly. There’s nothing like it. Next time try taho! Also thank you for doing the research! You did a great job pronouncing a lot of it. I love seeing people try the food that I’ve grown up with. Makes me so happy. Thank you!
@@YBChangOfficial it’s a Filipino dessert that’s a common street food. If you’re in the Philippines you’ll often see someone walking around selling it. It’s basically silken tofu with brown sugar syrup and sago pearls. It’s yummy!
As a filipino and an avid viewer of your channel (been here since the very beginning! 😱🤯) i just want to say that it makes me so so happy how you always enjoy our cuisine!! the Philippines surely love your content, ph foods or not!! Thank u for always respecting our heritage and always taking the time to learn about the foods you feature in your channel. Love u yb! Mahal kita! ❤️❤️❤️
Nice. You’re missing carioca (fried sugar-glazed sweet rice balls) + betamax (chicken blood cubes). Also, tenga (ear) & chicken feet are rich in collagen (from cartilaginous parts) that are great source of collagen that helps with youthful skin.. Must try: banana cue (fried browm sugar-glazed sabâ bananas) & kamote/camote cue (fried sweet potato brown sugar-glazed) skewers + turón fried plantain wrapped in lumpia (dumpling) wrappers. Siomai (shumai) in Ph. (I see you tried) - these were money savers back then in college, I alternate them paired with cup of steamed rice. 😊
I'm sure someone already covered this on another comment but the way to eat chicken feet is to bite the toes off, kind of suck the meat off and spit the bones out. I haven't eaten Adidas yet but if you ever go to a proper yum cha/dim sum restaurant, you can get the braised chicken feet from there. It's much easier to eat and I judge restaurants on how well they do chicken feet, beef tendons and tripe, which are my holy trinity of dishes lol!
This is a nostalgic video for me I had enjoy these street foods when I was young. When I was a kid I love consuming the Kikkiam ,Fish balls and kwek kwek where you can have either a sweet sauce or spicy sauce with it. As for the grilled ones I love the "Isaw na Manok" aka grilled chicken intestine and we have this skewer called "Betamax" where it is made of pig's blood and shape it into square. "Betamax" is named after a videotape type called Betamax.
Holy crap, the Anker chargers are actually good! They charge my devices really fast! I usually never watch ur ads, but this one, I was like, “Hey those look familiar!” 😂

VIETNAMESE STREET FOOD theres a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in Orange County, santa ana, and westminster, but those might be too far from LA :(( but for the chicken feet, i bite off bits of bone by knuckle? eat the surrounding skin then spit out the bones. Its like eating chicken wings except its all in your mouth instead of holding each separate piece in my hand.
I like your adventurous eater spirit and fedding Louie (sp?) Some. If I didn't know what it was, not the ear or feet cause you can tell I might be more likely to try some of the more adventure ones. The most tasty looking for me was the fried quail egg, chicken and pork and the dumpling. If I ever come across a similar restaurant I will go for those.
Your quack quack deep fried quail eggs looked great. Notice that even though you said you were crazy full, you ended the video ready to eat the last one!
Makes me wonder...which came first? The chicken (feet) called Adidas or the shoe called Adidas. I'm liking the idea that the food was first and the shoe name was really a practical joke played by someone in Marketing!
Omg YB I can’t w the 🦶🦶🦶🙅♀️🙅♀️🙅♀️ lol As far as street food, I’ll say boardwalk food is my favorite. On the Eastern shore we have Thrasher’s which has fresh cut peanut oil french fries served with malt vinegar. We buy the huge bucket (like KFC) Soooo good!! 💖🥔🍟

It's a Chinese dessert that has been inherited by the Filipinos.

Chicken feet! I usually eat the toe part first and then the rest. Just have to spit out the bones.
