Kaulin's got it right: "You will get stuck, you ruin your truck and you have to call your dad". It took me a few rounds in my younger years to finally learn that.
Same 😂😂
I used to have to call my grandpa because my dad would get mad if he had to stop doing what he was doing and I would get the whole I told you so talk so I just always called grandpa because we are best buds and he’s always happy to get out and do something, plus he never snitched to my dad 😂
The dreadful phone call to your father, knowing you’re gonna get in trouble
@@Mtoutdoorsmanyour grandpa sounds like an amazing person!
Grandpas like that are awesome.
Rhett has the biggest smile---he did a great job in the Dodge. You know how to drive a manual. Yeah, MOSTLY Love it
YK, not to obvious this days...
He’s very cute. I think he’s going to be the "1 in 10" boy in the family. If you don't know what that is, look it up. I am a 1 and 10 and I love cars, grease, etc.
I like how he told the owner that the parking brake was on.
He's an awesome boy and not only cute. He's really cool😊@djemcee
When they had that tire changing contest he was one of the best. I was that way at that age and buck20. I was a lot stronger than I looked, bench pressed twice my weight.@@labourlawact7826
It's so awesome that matts got this incredible crew to do recoveries when he's out sick. 😁
I never thought I would see Mat in his jammies.
He must love it when a plan comes together!
👍
This is how you know you have developed a great team, they handle business by working together and develop a solid plan and continue to encourage the newer folks participate and practice how to use the crew's tools properly. Great work on the Dodge out of that mud!
@dstaff4134, You forgot the most important part, Without the BOSS!!!!!
GoPro on a dog would be a wild ride with your dogs. You might get usable angles of the crew or rigs driving from the dogs.
Jefe was great, he directed the team and guided Tom so he wouldn't get stuck. Jefe is showing his worth for sure.
Most important thing he said, everyone stand clear
I couldn't agree more. Jefe showed great leadership.
I’m retired now, but I spent several years as a BLM park ranger in Washington County. I even lived in Hurricane; over near the “H” on the hill. Watching your videos brings back so many memories of my daily adventures on the backcountry two-tracks. You go to all the places I used to patrol. Man, do I wish you folks would’ve been around back then! lol. Thank you for the trip(s) down memory lane! Keep the videos coming’…
Good video on Christmas Eve helping good people out of bad situations. The MORR team did an awesome job recovering these 3 vehicles. So good to see Kawlin and Rhett learning the ropes with Jefe, oh and KateLynn too! Hope Matt feels better soon!
Great teamwork on these recoveries. Rhett and Kaulin have really become valuable assets to the crew, and they've gotten so comfortable on camera that you'd think they've been doing it all their lives. Jefe and Tom Tom do a fine job stepping up to be a boss when needed, and Katelynn seems to be absorbing new things every time she's in in the mix.
Tom Tom and Hefea are absolutely invaluable. The kids are awesome too...
They're taking notes so they can be even better in the future....
Jefe 😂
@@otgmando9900 👍
Love how your crew drove off into the mud hooked up to the truck and thought they would just drive out
Great job team MORR! Matt has GOT to be glad he has such a great dependable team to get things done when he is not available! Thank you so much for sharing
Wow, the wrecker being able to lift the rear of that truck made that job so much easier. Can't imagine how much harder that would have been without it.
I want to see Florida Off Road Recovery at the Off Road Games but since he’s anti Yankum ropes and has validly called them out I don’t see that happening. It be great just to see the drama between him and Casey LaDelle. 😬
Florida Matt said he's not going, who would take over for him anyway?
“That’s how you show your dominance, long hair and mud”
I like the way Tom Tom got himself out of trouble BEFORE he got stuck.
Absolutely the best trained off road recovery team. Great job Matt, teaching, mentoring and handing out responsibility. Hope you feel better.
I like the recoveries when all the doggos get to come, they always seem to be super happy to be there. It looks like Lady's diet has been somewhat successful, too, she looks trimmer than she used to.
Yep, the white pickup guys had a "Hold my beer" moment, lol.
Get "better", Matt! 😁
The Wrecker is so perfecto for the jobs it's taken on, great as always to see it in use. Great job Morr Crew and get well soonest Matt.
Jefe really knows what he's doing. Matt had described him as his number one guy who keeps everything together. A true Jefe (Boss in Spanish).
You can tell he oversees everything and understands all depth and detail. For rarely ever going on any recoveries, he's got it down including the important safety measures.
The Weekend crew is fun! But don't quit your day job Jefe. 😅😊
Jefe should apply at Caseys.
_"El_ Jeffe" is what should be on his shop jacket.
@@slateslavens yup
The crew did a great job! Hope Matts gets better soon and will enjoy New Years
Love it when you guys take the dogs out with you so they can get some exercise! Some people don't realize that exercise is great for them, those pups have the best dog park ever! Here's to a great 2024 to the Matts off Road recovery team, thank you for all the great content the team puts out!
I like all the stuff you guys do but it was great to see some old fashion sand rescues.
Great to see any rescues. 🤣
Good going Tom and crew. Hope you get to feeling better soon Matt. Get well stay well healthy and safe.
Get well soon Matt !!! Love your channel, crew and content 💛💛💛
These guys are livin the best life... Got the family, dogs, outdoors, & no jerk bosses or timeclocks to worry about. Love it! 👍👍
Matt imitating Paris Hilton at 0:18 is priceless! 😀
I remember that birthday party. Ive been here awhile. Feel better Matt. Stay well everyone else.
Hope you get to feeling better soon Matt. I was inside for 12 days over Christmas with this Crud that is everywhere. Hang in there, you will beat this. Love your channel!!
Me too, but last christmas. Hope Matt doesn't have the full-lung after-effect.
I remember I took my mother’s 4 Runner back in the 90’s. I went down a wash in the mountains above LA and got stuck. It was 2wd only. A passerby saw me and offered to tow me out. Unfortunately all he had was a bungee. YES a single 4’ bungee cord. Needless to say that did not work 😂. But it was hilarious seeing them try. 2 hour walk and a few hundred dollars later I learned my lesson.
Hope you are feeling better Matt! But you sure have a good crew to cover when your down! Good job everyone!
"So this is why I don't mud anymore. It ruins your truck, you get stuck, then you have to call your dad"
haha no truer words.... Been there done that, and worse still in the middle of nowhere in a mud pit full of timber rattlers, one of which grazed me with its fangs when I tried to catch it after getting stuck... stupid! Things Ill never repeat without a truck equipped with a winch.
Good morning Jefe is really good as a fill in leader when Matt is away.
I am sure those teenagers learned a valuable lesson when you get stuck you have to make a call to get help to get out.
I believe that learning somethings like that is important and a part of life.
I hope Matt feels better soon
“Long hair and mud” is how you assert dominance in high school is relatable lmao.
Don’t mud my truck but definitely take it trail riding
Certainly hope Matt feels better soon 🙏 but darn he taught his crew excellent and they also had the brains to learn thank you thank you😊❤
Matt pretending to be sick because it's a MUD joh. 😂😂😂 Thanks for the awesome videos!
That Jefe dude is invaluable. Also, I've said it before but I'll say it again, Rhett is the heart and soul of the team
That's why he's "Jefe".
Nice Selection of recoveries from the archive's ! Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year !
Great recoveries, team!! You guys all do a fantastic job!! GET WELL SOON MATT!!!
It's well after New Years and I hope you are feeling better Matt! I do wish the whole MORR crew a Healthy Happy New Year. Counting young Mr. Landon, teen drivers lately are proving responsibility isn't a priority as it should be. I do pray for the younger generation and their futures.
With Respect and Love MORR crew, You are in my prayers
Hoka Hey
Everyone has a part and knows what to do in these recoveries! Awesome crew. Also, nice shout out to donut media!
I live in a tropical country where anything and everything grow. It's nice to see this beautiful stark, barren landscape for a change. Awesome rescues by the way!
You guys rock! Great job! That was a muddy mess, but you guys made it look easy! 🙂
Great job You guys seem to even like one another. Thank you!
Nice work all around.👍 I hope everybody's feeling better.
Love seeing the puppers out on a recovery.
Nice pull !💪🏻 glad Jefe was there to help Tom and the crew out !👍🏻⭐️
You can get the temperature off your cell phone 😮 Respect Ed's work ethic.
Get better Matt, rest up a bit, your crew has got you.
Matt you have an amazing crew and your boys have stepped up and doing wonderful. Jefe and Tom are great leaders and work well together.
Happy New Year!
The wrecker makes these hard jobs look so easy, another great video.
The "Weekend Crew" getting it done! Get well Matt!
Matt better watch his job… he’s created a hell of a team who are pretty capable even when he’s not a the helm. That’s what’s called leadership and not being just a boss.
Colin: Statesman, Philosopher. A wise son.
“That’s how you show your dominance, long hair and mud” best line ever
1:57 As my dad always said: it's only a good idea the first time 😂
Jefe is getting dental work done and looking good. Rhett and Katelyn are sparking, and to see the dodge ram in the mud brings back a new meaning to “ drove the Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry”
I've been particularly enjoying the editing style lately. I'm not into cars but the people and cool places have me hooked. These videos make me smile and sometimes laugh out loud. I wish you would do a "best one-liners" video. Many of the phrases shared or whitty banters are worth documenting.
Merry Christmas and happy new year to the entire Matt's offrd recovery team
Nice work guys!
The wrecker did great
Y'know what'd be a cool addition to your vehicles? Something dead simple (just a light flickering, really) that shows if a wheel is turning. You'd have 4 lights and you'd know if you were physically moving, so you'd be able to tell if one wheel was spinning while others had all the traction. I can't remember what diffs you have locks on, but it'd be a useful aid for the driver, I think. Love your videos, even though I'm more of a Tom than a Matt when it comes to building things. I find it intensely frustrating when you turn up without the things you need - I'd be the exact opposite, I'm sure - carrying a load of "just in case" kit - but I keep coming back anyway! (Please fix the lockers on the Wrecker, though. :) )
Maybe it's simpler than I suggested. Maybe it's like "lockin' yer hubs in" - you fold down an arm that has a playing card attached that rubs on the tread. lol
I have personally watched since the morevair was being built and this has became an experience for me and my kids, we live in GA. The fact of this being all being based on family friends and love and passion for what the people around u enjoy is amazing and is why we enjoy watching u guys and I personally have a lot of enjoyment seeing Matt and Tom teach and work with their kids as I do mine even tho we are in opposite sides of the country it's nice to see values and goal have not disappeared yet!! ❤❤
Great Job Guys. Keep Smiling. Stay Safe, God Bless.
I hope Matt feels better quickly 👍
I'm sure Matt is really regretting not being able to be along on this mud rescue.
I’ve done things like that back in the early ‘80s when I was a teenager with a fresh driver license. In Alabama out in the country, there’s a million places to get jammed up and stuck, even if the weather was nice and no recent rains.
I have seen some awesome old school Volkswagen “Bugs” or “Beetle” cars modified into dune buggies. No change in the body, just much larger tires. They didn’t get stuck.
Your help and services to your town are priceless. 😁🇺🇸👨🏻🦳🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸
Ik these are old videos but I still like watching them. Y'all have the best job/life. Keep doing what y'all do . Great people. 😊
Good to see more off-road recovery action! Please do more to show Katelynn being trained to do this stuff. As a professional level off-road racer still in her teens it would be wonderful to see her learning the ropes of rigging recoveries, doing trail repairs and any other hands-on work that comes along.
I was actually wondering if Katelynn is still with MORR cuz I hardly see her in the most recent episodes.
Jefe makes a great leader. He knows exactly what to do, keeps everyone safe and makes sure the details are taken care of.
“In what world is this a good idea” best line ever!
Great job. Good to see that they are all capable of doing most any recovery.
Jefe is such a great guy. Huge asset to the business
Man you guys gotta get the lockers fixed on the wrecker.
Matt, hope you feel better soon! Good job Jefe and the rest getting everyone out. Unfortunately, seems like the videos are much shorter now that you have the wrecker makes your jobs so much easier. It's a brilliant design and so awesome that it was created from ingenuity.
Thanks for the video, I usually learn something and always enjoy watching!
(not complaining about the dogs, I love seeing them). How old are the MORR dogs?
Great team. Everyone did a great job on these recoveries.
We laugh and roll our eyes at 16 year olds who do this with a $5,000 truck, but then 60 year olds do it with $50,000 - $80,000 trucks. I ask you - who is dumber 😂 ???
Great work ! 👍
I'm sure it makes Matt feel better knowing you guys can take care of things.
Such a good team. Matt has to be super proud of the boys.
Matt you said in a previous video that if you can get out with ramps, you were never really stuck. I say that using ramps kinda like a snow shoe is very helpful. I've helped pull other side by sides out of the mud, using my ramps to get them up above the slop. In other words sometimes ramps are very helpful. I learned this after destroying a winch.
Used ramps numerous times to get big RVs unstuck out in the sand dunes. They weren't going ANYWHERE otherwise. Have to stay moving otherwise you'll sink, the ramps help get up and going. Ramps are very useful just not as much in Matt's situations
I think you're missing the point....
@@ian3580 I’m just going off what he said. He’s really good at what he does, but I know what I’m able to do with ramps.
@@shannonmcafee4169 I know. And come other drivers may be able to get out of your same situation without ramps. That's why he says that if you need ramps you're not really stuck - meaning you might just need more practice getting out of situations like that, or a more experienced driver could have gotten out without ramps.
Sure, there may be a few situations where ramps get people out where it would otherwise be impossible but generally - if you got out with ramps, you weren't really stuck....or there was other more useful equipment that takes up less space as is generally more versatile that could have gotten you out.
Looks like Matt is now afraid of the mud since his last screw up. A bit of PTSD maybe
Great content 👍,get better Matt 💪. We all need you 🙏.
Nice video today. Wrecker, Banana, Moorvair recoveries back to back. I almost wish there was 10 more minutes for a Samoorai job. ❤
Matt has done a great job with his crew, they step right up to the plate and get the job done when he's home sick.
Hi Matt,
I know you’re looking for two more drivers for the off road games . RUclipsr Sarah Jane aka Wonderhussy would be a great candidate for that position.
Enjoy your videos, keep the rubber side down!!!
Gary
I recommend her too. Also Wandering Jeepsy Sarah.
Great job leading the Morr Team Jefe. Rhett, Kaulin, Catelynn and Tom Tom working together to get them out. Matt get well soon. Your guidance shines through them. 🤙😎
So Wise , Thank You . A fine example of a fine team, a fine 2 fine machines . Good to see the Yankum in action again
Good morning !
The funny part is they took the banana for back up but didn't unload it. Everyone gets on the wrecker, leaving banana unattened. What's wrong with this scenario?
Was it a long walk back for the "Backup " Vehicle?
He said they weren’t gonna unload it unless they needed it, im assuming they weren’t too far from the job then
Nothing. Back-up only used when you need it. Here they didn’t.
@@randytolle6706 they said it was around 2 miles
Love the channel. Great team. Big TomTom fan! Hope Matt feels better.
Awesome job, crew! It's great that Matt can count on you like this. Now maybe lockers before Corvairs.
So we got a call

As a Brit, I sometimes forget how dominant automatic transmission is in the US. Rhett did well to cope with it without warning.
However, it's changing here too. According to Google... "Currently, manual cars still account for 70 per cent of the 31.7 million cars on UK's roads. However, in 2021 over half (54 per cent) of new cars sold in Britain were automatic, compared to around 20 per cent a decade ago."
My son recently passed his driving test and drives an MX5 (Miata in the US) which is obvs manual. I remember my Dad telling me I'd likely have an automatic when I was 18yo and replying that I'd always have a manual. I now have a Merc GL (auto) and an EV for local trips (single gear) so my Dad was right.
Finding a manual in a pickup truck is almost impossible. Most mfgs stopped even offering it as an option 20+ years ago except for heavy duty trucks.
I drove manual cars in the US for a good 20 years until we bought an EV.
I thought I'd miss it but I don't. The intense zoom zoom of an EV more than makes up for it.
The only reason autos are becoming more prevalent in the UK is due to EVs and hybrids , companies buy them as company cars for the lower tax they pay and insensitives the government gives out.
Dad's usually are right in my experience. Mine sure has been over my 65 years.
I hate to say it, but modern automatic transmissions are just too good. CVTs are getting stronger and offering perfect gearing all the way into overdrive. Manual clutches are wear items. The average consumer just has little reason to buy a manual in a modern car.
@@hausmaster9801 That is not what a very brief internet search indicates. EV sales are still very small and account for only single-figure percentages.
Get well soon Matt! Great work guys and gals!
Cooperation and encouragement wins the day as always! ✌🏻
I bought a second gen single cab almost ten years ago. Never was willing to sink it in mud. No problems driving thru mud. Just clean it afterwards, Still daily drive it for work lol. Great truck lol. Awesome video and great work. Thank you guys for sharing love from STL-ish lol.
