Hears @rim job@, immediately goes to comment section.
+Zeesha We're proud of you for leaving it there. That took a lot of will power and we appreciate it!
+Jamie Oliver's Drinks Tube Oh it really did. But I love the drink so I don't want to ruin it by thinking of that every time I drink it! Aha
You really hit the nail on the head about tequila. I like to call it "the tragic hero of the spirits". It's such a quality product, I think it is fair to say that it is the cognac of Mexico, but at the same time, it is so misunderstood, because of the connection with students at frat parties, getting hammered with cheap tequila (which is actually only 51% real tequila), served with salt and slices of lime
These are crazy good, and underrated videos. Usually these how-to videos on cocktails stink, but this is perfect, simple and definitely home-made rather than some barman
0:32 this will never stop being funny.
A perfect rundown of the classic margarita. I'm loving this channel Jamie, make sure to fill in the gaps of all the other classic cocktails too!

Awesome good work Jamie.
Hi , do you do any chocolate martini's? White or normal chocolate ! Thanks
Awesome, simple & sweet loved it
In the US the Mexican restaurants ask if you want your margarita on the rocks or frozen. Interesting variation...
Correct margarita, but if you were a pro bartender:
1. You put ice into the glass to chill it
2. you do not smash open boston shaker while it is on the table, you do it holding in hand.
Jamie's still learning 😉
the glass is correct? shouldnt be sombrero?
C on... Summer is coming!Do the piña colada recipe:D
Nice suggestion John. Keep em peeled!
cazadores! our staple.

If I was to make a pitcher or Jug of this would What measurements would I use or would I just use the same
ratios? @JamieOliver @JamieOliversDrinks
ccrisp93 You can use the same ratio. The principal is the same. Make sure you watch our video coming on Friday, it will answer lots of questions and provide plenty of inspiration.
Can you tell me whats the name of the music ?
Do you just use normal table salt for the Rim???
34 seconds - =>_
Yea man
+Merlene Gordon Totally.
Rim job???
It's important to get the salt perfectly coating the rim of the glass :)
Cheeky wink!!
Jen Whalen
Ohhh myyy!
Phrasing!
You guys should use "OUNCES" for the recipes as well
+Noli Kollqaku Thanks for the suggestion! We'll bear that in mind for future recipes.
+Jamie Oliver's Drinks Tube units of measurment are different for different countries...and the specificationa of the drink can change...example some people make margaritas with 45ml tequila 15 ml cointreau and 30 ml lime juice
Buenisimo
+Rodrigo Forero :D
The shot glass filled to the rim is about 60 ml plus
Mojito next!
Request noted! Thanks
Teach them how to do "Caipirinha"! S2
can we have some mocktails as well?
We will be covering some non-alcoholic drinks in the near future :)
What kind of salt do you use
Are there any cocktails that has sweet flavor to it?
+Phương Phan Yes indeed: ruclips.net/video/ACpggU3nY7g/видео.html
Does anybody know the name of the song at the end???
I’ve had plenty vodka gin and whiskey is tequila vodka ish save me buying one
You dip the glass in what for the rim job
Yummmmm
100% blue agave tequila?
i would love a cocktail with champagne xo
I find it easier, when doing the sugary edge of the glass, to poor the liquid that you're using on a plate (in this case lime) and dip the glass up side down onto the plate so the edge gets wet and then dip on another plate with sugar a couple of times. it turns out a little bit more even and cleaner.
Great tip. Thanks.
Salt
"Se menea - se menea - como una lavadora" xD loooooooooool Why are listening to this song, Jamie?? Do you at least know what it says? xD hahahahaha
Can you please make a caipirinha??? 😃
Hey NoaDinky - Great shout. We'll add it the pile of requests! Thanks for getting involved. Have you followed us on Facebook? :)
Jamie Oliver's Drinks Tube Thanks, really looking forward to that one!! Not following on fb yet, thanks for the reminder 😊
Someone knows the brand of the boston shaker?
Are there any other good tequilas you can recommend?
+Mikkel Bentzen sierra
El jimador reposado - usually the cheapest 100% agave tequila you'll find at the supermarket
Always partial for a Margarita! However if you use 100% Agave Tequila (not the nasty stuff with a hat on the bottle!), avoid the salt! It dehydrates you and makes you throw up - one of the reasons people dislike Tequila in the first place! The Agave flavours are often salty enough. Play around with Blancos (clear, unaged, zesty and fresh) and Reposados (lightly aged, caramel, salty and robust) to create very different tasting drinks!
Thanks Stephen. Sounds like you know your Tequila. Such a misunderstood spirit. Don't forget to subscribe with us on RUclips and like us on Facebook! facebook.com/DrinksTube x
How many times at least u shake?
i couldnt find the backround music could you please help ? :)
2:07 about to spit it out
Then "so good!"
Jamie in the US its referred to as a glass hand job with salt
Thank you!! :-)
I made a margarita but it does not fill my margarita glass up all the way!.. does that make a diference ? is that okay?? or normal??
It's ok! You might need to add a little more ice.

Thanks for the suggestion - we've made a note of it.
Jamie Oliver's Drinks Tube Thank you so much :)
