    The one thing I learned from this video is I never want to pull an engine from a C7, man that was a lot of work!

    Hey man, I have the recessed bolts on the torque tube and don’t know how to remove. Would you mind explaining on how to remove those bolts so I can remove the torque tube? Also the clamp, does that have to be removed as well? I would definitely appreciate it and Great video by the way!

    What cubic inch are you going? Compression? What fueling option are you doing if going higher than 600rwhp? Meth?

      Phase one is strictly internals of the motor, going to have same compression ratio as a lt4 head after machining the head as well as the head gasket piston combo im using.
      Fuel will be part of phase two
      Final will be adding the turbo kit once everything is seated and broken in

    I have the recessed allen heads. Did you mark the flexplate and coupler?

    • @ghostlyrich
      @ghostlyrich  7 месяцев назад

      Did bother in this case since literally everything was hot tanked and cleaned

      @ghostlyrich did you have to remove the coupler to get to the bolts o Im concerned about marking it because there are no good references to mark

      @elemuelcrankfield2350 sorry i ment didnt but it put did. I way to mark the flex plate and torque tube coupler is take a paint pen. Paint the tip of one of the bolt tips and make a line to it on flex plate so there in a line then when you put engine back in can just line the line of flex plate up back with the paint thread

    Hey love the series of vids. i have a question, did you replace the two fuel lines on top of the engine valley cover? I’ve read mixed opinions on reusing or replacing them

    • @ghostlyrich
      @ghostlyrich  Год назад +1

      Reused them :) im guessing you are talking about the metal s pipe that connects the 2 rails. It seems to be working fine for now. When i upgrade my fuel system i will attack it then. I wouldnt worry about it unless you are upgrading the fuel system which if you’re doing any sort of forced induction is a good idea :)

      @@ghostlyrich cool mine is a z06 so maybe theyre beefy already idk lol so I’m thinking of just doing the dsx lowside, so i should be good re-using the old ones right

      @@christiansanchez8736 lol nice yea if your changing pully sizes and tuning higher and your tuner mentions fuel might be a plan, but until then i wouldnt worry to much on it

    All I gotta say is you're just dripping blood everywhere all the time. 😐 I wanna think it was a one time occurrence but damn protect your hands a bit more. I can't say I've never scarred mine up but its painful to watch lol
