Having a harder head than your opponent is a skill in boxing. Antuofermo was just as guilty of using his head as any fighter I have ever seen. OK, maybe not Holyfield level, but still.

Hagler was, without question, the best middle weight ever. But this was painful to watch. Vito was clumsy, clawing, brawling, wrestling, head butting and his corner was complaining and whining. This was no contest. It was a 3rd grader against Picasso.
No robbery! Vito as the champ earned his way to a draw in the first fight by answering all what Hagler gave him. The problem was Hagler moving away too much in the fight boxing while Vito pushed. Hagler lost a lot of stamina by moving and boxing. Hagler should have stayed on the inside a lot more in the earlier rounds to force the fight with Vito and put his combinations together. When Vito was growing up in Italy, it has been said that when would get into a rock throwing fight, he had no fear and let the rocks hit him! My trainer used to refer to Vito as a "Face-fighter".
Hagler whooped the punk
@ 6:58 Guy didn't even have to miss introduction to have a smoke 😂
HAGLER 4 sure butted his head! CLEAN! Hearns a few years later said Hagler's head was a weapon!!
+Nicky Depaola Hearns had his ass kicked so hard by The Marvellous that he will remeber that fight for the rest od his life..
+Batroc Bjj He sure will!
How the fuck is Antuofermo age 28 here?? he looks more like 48....
Vito may have been a bleeder but he became an actor following the end of his boxing career! he's been in many a mob movie/tv show.
The thing about this is, they always hated Marvin. I never saw Marvin lose a fight. This was the first time that I noticed Larry Merchant's hatred of black boxers.
Stop with your race baiting already....fkn ayyy....blacks are the same way with their fighters, no one brings it up all the time though
jerry cooney the great white dope of boxing. what a joke
Vito kind of looks like Peter Sutcliffe.
Vito shouldn't even have been in there w Hagler again @ this point. He barely won his tune up fight. & his corner certainly didn't do him any favors. Hagler is the MAN. Ain't nobody disqualifying him 4 U. U gotta put up or shut up 💯
Hagler was, without question, the best middle weight ever. But this was painful to watch. Vito was clumsy, clawing, brawling, wrestling, head butting and his corner was complaining and whining. This was no contest. It was a 3rd grader against Picasso.
Bleedo Antefurmo
Ni con el tramposo del Panamá Lewis , inmenso el pelón 👨🦲 maravilla Hagler
Las dos peleas fueron buenísimas
Mention of Leonard, but of course Leonard didn't fancy fighting him then
Leonard was a Welterweight sir, Hagler was a natural middleweight.
Never noticed how much of a “Barston accent” haggler had back then
Revenge for getting robbed
The fight would have been over sooner.
5:56 This is really sloppy.
Fullmer did not beat Robinson three times.
Second greatest middleweight ever right behind sugar ray robinson simply marvelous!¡!
