Always liked watching the shows where two people find each other after not seeing each other in how many years, no matter what the circumstances were that separated them.

Prior to DNA confirmation in 2013, doubts existed as to whether DeSalvo was the Boston Strangler. At the time when he confessed, people who knew him personally did not believe him capable of such vicious crimes. Creating doubt of a serial killer, who characteristically has a certain type of victim and method of murder, the women killed by "The Strangler" were from a variety of age and ethnic groups, and there were different modi operandi.
In 1968, Dr. Ames Robey, medical director of Bridgewater State Hospital, insisted that DeSalvo was not the Boston Strangler. He said the prisoner was "a very clever, very smooth compulsive confessor who desperately needs to be recognized." Robey's opinion was shared by Middlesex District Attorney John J. Droney, Bridgewater Superintendent Charles Gaughan, and George W. Harrison, a former fellow inmate of DeSalvo's. Harrison claimed to have overheard another convict coaching DeSalvo about details of the strangling murders.
DeSalvo's attorney Bailey believed that his client was the killer, and described the case in The Defense Never Rests (1995). Susan Kelly, author of the book The Boston Stranglers (1996), drew from the files of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts "Strangler Bureau". She argues that the murders were the work of several killers rather than a single individual. Former FBI profiler Robert Ressler said, "You're putting together so many different patterns [regarding the Boston Strangler murders] that it's inconceivable behaviorally that all these could fit one individual."
glad that vile scum who killed several people including the young couple was executed...
So cruel to split siblings up...they should always be kept together....glad they all found each other again including their mother....

DNA confirms he was the killer to the last victim, Mary Sullivan , DNA does not lie. If George Nassar was the Boston Strangler, why did he try so hard to keep it hushed up. He is in prison for life. He now has cancer as he still remains in prison for the rest of his life. Makes no sense does it?

It's disgusting how they're talking about this rapist, as if he's not monstrous TOO--whether or not he's The Strangler. The publisher says he doesn't look like a monster. Yes, that's how it works. They ALMOST NEVER DO. And rapists turn into murderers. It's the natural trajectory of their crime. Some more slowly, others more quickly--some die before they get there. Murder and rape are about the same violation, control, ownership of another person, deprivation of her own person from her family and from herself. He may sound quite "cute and jovial". And _he_ says the women enjoyed it. That HAS ZERO BEARING on the reality of the experience of his victims. I doubt very much that A SINGLE ONE OF his victims really consented--and I find it evil, shocking and disturbing that this show would present the idea that this is true. Women often do not physically fight a rape. That in NO WAY means they are consenting. They are trying to NOT BE MURDERED, ON TOP OF BEING RAPED. So, they endure the rape, and try to appease the rapist. In his sick head, he may well FANTASIZE that they "LOVED IT"--and certainly brag that they did. Doesn't make it at all true. And, HE DOES KNOW IT'S NOT. HOW CAN I BE SO SURE?! Because he continues to use coercive, isolating, intimidating tactics, that put her at fear for her life. He doesn't choose just to have sex casually with dates/girlfriends, who genuinely consent. He KNOWS THAT HE IS RAPING THESE WOMEN--HE JUST ENJOYS DELUDING HIMSELF, BECAUSE FEEDING THE FANTASY GIVES HIM THE INTERNAL PASS TO COMMIT FURTHER RAPES...

The way that the guy in the last story and his sister were treated as children makes me sick. I get it was a different time when people gave less of a shit about emotions but still.
