There’s an eraser I picked up at Hobby Lobby called the MOO eraser. They do the same thing as an electric eraser (reducing the amount of shard and picking up more graphite) for about the sixth of the price (roughly $5) and its been a SAVIOR. Just a suggestion •3-
Veronica Oviedo they come with a bunch of little replacement erasers so it lasts a really long time, I got one like 6 months ago and it came with 40 extra erasers and I still haven't come close to running out

I am a TOTAL perfectionist when it comes to art, and even though I've noticed some improvement over the years, any mistakes that I make stick out like a sore thumb to me. Although, I think that's a good thing, because I'd rather see my mistake then not see it. Then I can improve on it.
A good way to improve your work is to look at old artwork next to your new artwork, then it’s easy to see what you have improved on and what still needs work (although an artist is always evolving and improving). And it’s always encouraging to see how far you’ve come. Also, a lot of young artists get in the bad habit of just drawing what they’re good at and staying away from drawing things they have trouble with (i.e. hands, feet, mouths/teeth), when really they should draw them every opportunity- the only way to learn how to draw something and get better is practice 😊 It’s always super frustrating when you’re drawing and you have one part you just can’t get right, feels like the whole picture is ruined!

The artist will always be more critical of their own work than anyone else will. Feel good in the fact that you always think it could be better because you will keep getting better with that mindset. That's how I kept up on my work looking at things I painted when I started out till now and I have exceeded expectations from when I started. But im no where near where I want to be.

Yes! I am always critical of my work, and I know there's an "awkward' stage, but I have to push myself to keep going, because even if I'm not truly happy with the finished work, it usually looks better than I expected it would. BTW, that lipstick 💄 color really suits you!

Y’know, for me it is SUPER hard to draw faces. So sometimes I’ll get everything right on the face and then I just have to do the mouth, but then... I keep getting it wrong and messed up, and I keep erasing SO many times, that it completely DESTROYS the rest of my for once perfect face, and I get SO annoyed that I freak out! And it’s sooooo frustrating! And my friends come over and their all like “what’s wrong?” And I’m here sittin’ here huffing and puffing! 😂 yep, that’s my story...
Break it down. Don't draw whole faces. Try drawing each individual facial feature over and over (at least 20 times, preferably more). Then draw a basic head (no features, just proportion lines) at different angles over and over. Then start adding the features to the head shape. If you have trouble with one feature, draw it repeatedly in isolation until you're good at it, then go back to drawing it on the head. You should see a lot of improvement with this method.
I adore your channel, so some constructive criticism: If you ever plan on drawing Marilyn again, maybe put the left eye (our right) higher up and further to the left on her face. It may be the angle, but for that eye to be positioned there she would have to have been looking down and to the right. Just a little note here!
Leelincess - It's because she had the comb which had a pen at the end. So now that tehre are now brushes/combs allowed in class she doesnt have another pen.

Yes! I am always critical of my work, and I know there's an "awkward' stage, but I have to push myself to keep going, because even if I'm not truly happy with the finished work, it usually looks better than I expected it would.

I’m always very critical of my work. I never fully love them because I notice every little struggle or mistake I had shown in my piece. At the end of the day I always know it leaves me room for improvement. Your art is amazing girl!! ❤️

Y’know, for me it is SUPER hard to draw faces. So sometimes I’ll get everything right on the face and then I just have to do the mouth, but then... I keep getting it wrong and messed up, and I keep erasing SO many times, that it completely DESTROYS the rest of my for once perfect face, and I get SO annoyed that I freak out! And it’s sooooo frustrating! And my friends come over and their all like “what’s wrong?” And I’m here sittin’ here huffing and puffing! 😂 yep, that’s my story...

Break it down. Don't draw whole faces. Try drawing each individual facial feature over and over (at least 20 times, preferably more). Then draw a basic head (no features, just proportion lines) at different angles over and over. Then start adding the features to the head shape. If you have trouble with one feature, draw it repeatedly in isolation until you're good at it, then go back to drawing it on the head. You should see a lot of improvement with this method.

I adore your channel, so some constructive criticism: If you ever plan on drawing Marilyn again, maybe put the left eye (our right) higher up and further to the left on her face. It may be the angle, but for that eye to be positioned there she would have to have been looking down and to the right. Just a little note here!

I have different shades of "i hate my artwork" I will work on something reeeeeally in depth and large (in scale) so im focusing on all the little bits and i dont really look at it i mean really look at it til im done and at that point im like omg i hate this its awful then i come back a week later with fresh eyes and its like holy shiz, I drew that? but then other times im like this looks sooo cool and my fiance will go "eh you can do better" and im like WHAT DID YOU SAY!? lol Also on your more serious note, because you introduced me to this product and i do my highlights the same way when im in pencil im like woooah this thing is awesome so i pause the video and i go check it out and im like "WUT its ONLY $5.99, SOLD" so how are you not worthy of ads? the video itself IS an ad im seriously going to order this thing on pay day so youtube isnt so bright and this scares me for my channel lol
