Because in the box it says 20 but online it says 30. The Techne channel shows a detailed review about the headset and also you can see clear the box says 20 hours.
Mic sounds great everywhere else. Also, the pulse is completely fine, my son my best friend and myself have them and it's just like talking on the phone..
Classic IGN with terrible review of a product. PlayStation says 30 hours on a charge on their website and the mic extends for much better quality. Lazy review
Yeah there is no way that audio clip of the mic was actually from this device. They just used an EQ filter and never did a proper test with direct audio from the headset.
Typical ign review. The “mic test” wasn’t even an actual recording using this headset. IGN bashed on the mic, but provided zero evidence. Guess we have to trust their word.
You said you have to use PS5 to listen to two sources at a time. But couldn't you connect the dongle to a PC and then also connect to your phone at the same time?
3:58 Where do you get the statistic of 20 hours per charge? On their product page, they mention 30 hours which is why you're getting more battery life than you expected.

i‘m sending it back immediately. The mic is horrible and the overall design is very flimsy. for the pricepoint it might be okay but invest 50€ more and you got yourself a waay better headset overall.
I've watched other videos where the mic quality is totally fine, nothing like what they show in this video. I'm guessing they didn't use real audio from the headset.
You could have included the price... And if you start the review by raising the question whether the higher price is worth it in comparison to the regular Pulse 3D, then address the question and not do no comparison at all.
You call this a review? You make a point about how people look like while wearing the headset yet you don't show not even a photo of someone wearing them. You say that they last longer than the advertised 20 hours when in the box clearly says that they last up to 30. You say that the mic is not great and don't even show a sample, going with an audio filter instead to give an example (and an inaccurate one since the mic sounds way better than that). Stick to games IGN and leave the peripheral reviews to people who actually know what these reviews are supposed to demonstrate.
Disappointed they removed the feature where you can hear your voice while wearing them like the normal Pulse along with the party chat vs game balance mixer.
It still has both of those features. Monitor, or hearing yourself is called sidetone now and it's it's Audio settings, party chat is available thru the sound settings or using the FN button if you have the edge controller
What’s the difference between these and the 3d ones? Or the elite. I’ve been Xbox my whole life but had a ps5 for like a year. Need some headsets for helldivers
Compared to the original 3D pulse elites released 10 years ago, they are lacking. They used to come with rumble for your head that went along with the bass. The sound quality itself was premium, not typical of a gaming headphones pair tbh.
Hey guys does this have the feature where you can turn up to hear your own voice better from outside. Also could you use these standalone with your phone?
The ear cup coverings are already coming off my pulse headphones due to poor manufacturing methods. I'll have to use contact cement to glue them back on.
@@shawnbenjamin9636not true. Astro has detachable earcups that are made out of cloth & upgradable noise cancelling made out of leather. Had mine for years & no signs of aging. That’s my biggest gripe with PlayStation headsets. They deteriorate & peel.
They upped the quality since the PS3’s version. Those fell apart really quickly- not just the pleather I’m talking about the entire thing, barely lasted a year or 2 tops. No issues with pulse in 2 years and no sign of any damage for the near future.
They don't seem as cool as the past Elite headphones, they had specific modes for some games like GTA V and The Last of us, and even had some rumble features.
Did you really make a review, say they look bad, and now wear them lol. Clearly you are just reading the script and someone else shot the b-roll in studio, and you didn't use them.

no his voice was just put into a high pass filter
These headphones have been a dream to use especially for TLOU Part 1 and 2 when you can hear the EXACT location of a clicker and enemy.
Honestly after having them a few weeks the worst part is the build quality. Any movement of your head and the moving ear cups and mic beam make noise.
Still rockin my ps4 golds ..even on ps5 , don’t really see the need to upgrade
It's a class headset to be fair. My ear cups perished unfortunately
You said you have to use PS5 to listen to two sources at a time. But couldn't you connect the dongle to a PC and then also connect to your phone at the same time?
Yes. The dual connections are to the dongle and Bluetooth. The dongle can be connected to a PC instead of a PS5.
Pretty lame review. Didn't show them on head or offer mic tests. Just awkward pauses and buzz words.
