Thanks I love it brother...I almost pulled the trigger on getting the Ascent 18 (with expensive upgrades) but I can't it's just top small...I would love to bring it to work in the office play around on my free time and also when we go out of town and maybe maybe hike somewhere and pack it in my backack. But then again it's the size...I'm sticking to 1/10 RC, I just invested more in upgrades for my TRX-4, GEN 8 AXE and Rival MT10. Even when I was doing some upgrades today I had some small parts ans screws I almost lost imagine with with 1/18 rigs it'll be even small. That's just the way for me. Saving up for the Ascent Fusion instead.
I wanna get this new goat that’s come out from absima brushless with the furitek sys and app to adjust… so like the cr18 evo pro but you don’t need the card thing - not much reviews online yet - would be cool if you gave it a bash - if not that I was considering the ftx Utah - be good to get your opinion -
Szk furitek is to low. When running laydown shocks I double the springs which has the effect of good articulation but strong enough not to torque all with decent ride height . Thats just me though.
That's a great little spot! I'm kinda jealous. Though most of those tires looked pretty new, are they scrubbed in at all or still have the sticky residue from the factory? Also, any inserts in any of those or just foams? They looked a bit stiff. I love my little Ascent 18 though, my first mini crawler even though I was actively upgrading my fake TRX4 Bronco, I couldn't resist when I saw them on the shelf at the hobby shop. Now between me and my brother, we've got 4 of them.
Brass actually, I have the same on my buggy build for my Ascent 18. Warning though, they have an unstated at least 3mm offset, I had to get some +8 wheel spacer hexes so that they weren't locked against my brass portal housings. They are beefy though, and look incredible.
Hey @roblootens2994 I did add some extra weight to the front wheels These are the wheels 42G per wheel amzn.to/3Kc88dd These are the weights - amzn.to/3wPTzcj
This is the kind of video I love to see. Well done.
so appreciate you saying this @ciborg86🤝! Thank you
Great collection of little rigs
Thanks @nunocarneiro464 🤝appreciate it! Took us a while to get into the micros but they're worth it
@@RickysGarageVibes they multiply really fast 🤣🤣 i was only 1/10 , bought one 24th just to mess around at one event, now i have 16 😭😭😂🤣
what tires are on the redcat?what mods did you do besides the changing of the wheels and tires? thanks
❤Thanks for sharing from Alberta Canada.
Thanks for watching @kolasaRC🤝!
You know all the spots! I have really need to find more than the 2 I know lol
We combed Google Earth to find some of these! Nice "seeing" you Eric!
Interesting. I have a build Evo pro brushless. Just picked up an accent for “fun”. Hope it lives up to

Ascent Fusion is a solid rig, great for the money! It's taken us a while to get into 1/18 and 1/24 scale for those same reasons
Its too small for the office or backback ? I would not want to carry a 1/10 around.
The front end of your upgraded baby looks awesome boy - you just need to get a furitek brushless sys in there - boy the back looks tough too
Redcat Ascent 18 FTW again !!!
You can file clearance on the metal diffs to turn more .
Just figure out where there hitting

no inserts at this point, hadn't added them yet but we taped lead weights to the wheels
what's the name of the aluminum wheels on the ascent? great video
Thanks @markpetersen6931🤝! These wheels are from Amazon, no specific name amzn.to/3yaVFDN

Not sure what it is but the contrast or the sharpness is too much. Other than that, I enjoyed the video.
