    I think this album tells a story of a man that's not particularly good not bad. He does bad things, and he does good things. He hangs out with bad people, he helps good people. And the whole time, he's trying to figure out who he really is, and which side he's really on. But in the end, he just knows he's himself, and that's good enough for him.

    this goes to show that technique is shit without musicianship, and this guy worked hard on the later without forgetting a formidable technique. People are comparing this to Guthrie but sounds to me like a much improved version of Marty Friedman . I like Marty but to each its own :). A well captured sound. Exellent Nick! !!!

    • @jackarcher_
      @jackarcher_ 9 лет назад +5

    • @MAGAMAN
      @MAGAMAN 7 лет назад +5

      "guthrie is on another level though"
      No, Guthrie is just a different style. I find Nick's music much more listener friendly. In ever gets to that weird I'm showing off, just to show off level. While there's a fair bit of Shred, the music is not all about the guitar. There are some beautiful songs that are only so amazing because Everything works together so well and is so well written. Some of them you could even leave out the guitar and it would still sound great. This is what's missing in so much of the instrumental music today, and which is why I was immediately hooked on Nick's albums.

    Every day many people force me again and again to lose faith in humanity, many people are dedicated only to take advantage of others, many people are determined to continue destroying the world, many others live completely focused on themselves and In the material world full of glamor, unfortunately very few inspire other people, despite all the above, your Nick, this record, your way of sharing and your disinterest in worldly things, make me regain faith in humanity.
    Thank you for your music, I am absolutely sure that it comes out of your heart, so it is heard, brilliant!

    I haven't been able to choose a favourite from the last two albums Nick's done, I'm very confident I won't be able to from this one either. Such an incredible album!

    what a PERFECT album! i've been looking for something like this for years. on those songs there are much more than simple notes, a lot of GOOD MUSIC, feeling and clarity! and of course, the cherry of the cake is the participation of the boss Guthrie Govan!! Cheers from BRAZIL !!!

    Just clicked to find this. I am not disappointed in the least. This is awesome work and I'm in love with the acoustic work at the start of the album
