I like close call with an indoor antenna. Tells when any radio on the block goes active even 500mw frs but wont keep getting hit from every mobile across town.
turn ON FM in (broadcast screen). menu ---Srch/CloceCall Opt ----Broadcast Screan ----Set Each Band -----FM on You can turn on pager too and leave the rest off
How do you clear out all of those recordings? Don't they take up alot of space? Would I see any differences upgrading to a 32GB 90 MB SanDisk from a 32 GB 48MB SanDisk memory chip?
I don't understand why you keep the "beep" sound on? It makes it hard to focus on the video and only adds noise to the audio. Do you feel you need them for some reason? Please consider next video with the beeps turned off please!
XXX Recordings don't take much space unless you record 24/7 than yes it will take space. To clear the recordings I use a Card Reader and put the micro card in and open the (what ever the drive letter it is) you should see Recording Folder open that and select all and delete.
These scanners are great if they can actually make them so that people can actually understand the thing rather then makeing them into a never ending puzzle of buttons that u need to play with for years to figure it out. To much nonsense involved rather than OK let's listen to police or fire etc heck that might take a few hours well thank god for the zip code thing. Its a scanner not a robot
From the title of this video, I figured you were a fugitive who had been on the lamb for months, and the cops were bearing down on you, but thanks to the BCD436HP, you were able to escape - just barely! Thus, a "Uniden BCD436HP CLOSE CALL." I gotta admit being a little disappointed....

After you press hold while using the close call function, can you add that frequency to your scan list?
I haven't tried that. You should see some info come up where to save it.
I've tried close call but almost always have it end up with it picking up a local fm radio station

That's why you don't enable that band!!!!!
You can also listen to what was recorded by hitting the replay button at any time. Easier than having to go to settings and replay options, no?
No.

Audio never takes up much space.
Please remake video with full screen in view
Hi. How many hits will it log like that in close call. I would want to leave it unattended then have a list of data to review.
+springer5
I haven't let it sit for awhile to see how many logs it will take. It may be 100 than makes a new folder for another 100 hits.
@@scannerfreak91 How can we see that list?
Which list? I don't have the x36 anymore I sold them over a year ago.
hello my friend, the Close Call he works in digital mode ???
Frédéric F5UOX in Paris city
I believe it does.
No… analogue only I believe
It will hit dmr and nxdn dmr though only dual or repeaters output, nxdn can get inputs and single freqs

No you select all, cut, and paste in an archive on the computer or usb hard drive.
That sucks. The GRE/Whistlers have better recording. Like on the PSR-800. Especially the new TRX-1
Do you have a 436?
