I to was taught piano and thought it somewhat boring... and I too miss my Mother today........ never really learned to play, but have forever followed the heart beat of my Mother..... her prayers fenced me in and I found Jesus at 40. I love you Mother.... see you soon.....
That is the best story I have heard all my life. I I played piano all my life and sang a solo last night Christmas Eve Sweet little Jesus Boy fits in this story Perfectly; Didn't know you'd come to save us Lord and take our Sins away "our eyes were blind we could not see And we didn't know who you were"
Been a musician since my youth and never heard it explained this way. It is now quite exciting to know and understand this way of playing a scale. I will surely teach my grand children the Christmas Scale. Thanks for sharing this information.
Sometimes the right notes aren't enough. When you realize that the right words have a similar effect, you can understand how important timing is. Timing is like the beat. The beat is what takes simple notes and injects meaning and purpose. And feeling.
Have not played the piano in a number of years. Perhaps this will inspire me to get back to doing so. Several years ago, a dear friend and I sat on the piano bench on Christmas Day, and I played Christmas carols for us to sing. It made him so happy! This video reminded me of that joyful time. Strangely enough, although I have played "Joy To The World" on the piano, I had forgotten that the music is a simple scale in reverse! Amazing!
I know what is coming after I saw it for the first time of course. Gives me a shiver up my back when it is playd with the pauses and all. SO powerful!!! Merry Christmas!
This is wonderful! It is such a surprise the first time one hears it. Still, even though one may know how it ends, the message is so great hearing it over and over again. It is a favorite keeper to listen to over and over again.
I saw this years ago and it moved me to tears, then forgot about it... my dad sent it to me again...makes me shed tears of hope in my heart again. Yes, JOY TO the WORLD, the LORD is COME....and for any of you that believe you must be a certain Christian faith to be saved, (oh, yes, you must be Christian; but you do not need to be a "certain" one) SING that line again, and pause at the first, second, fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth word, especially the third...Hallejuiah, thank you for walking with us, Holy, Heavenly, Mighty LORD.
your outlook, that the overwhelming majority of people in all of human history were doomed because they didn't grow up in a Christian environment, is a sad one...I imaging that a Supreme Being, who created all these untold billions of people, would have a more generous outlook
So true, the simple things in life are the most important...I love this..We have to listen to each other..not just hear the words but listen..good lesson in life...and we are never too old to learn...
Finding out the best news Comes from seeking a guide But first you have to choose Where your feelings side Then its all about the timing And listening when to pause To bring out what is hiding In the melody it draws
She meant to say that everyone has their own taste for playing music.. Pauses are the feelings that special performers impart in the music for our benefit. Everyone can play music. Some are special even with a few notes.. It happens!
This was absolutely amazing! My 26-year old son has 'mild Autism,' but we never really experienced any real difficulties, in public; however, a friend of mine (who's daughter is autistic) recently told me of two, ridiculous incidents.
I heard about this media short recently while listening to Vision Christian Radio Australia. It was definitely worth the watch and contains a powerful message that struck a chord in me as well.
I love this and more then the music, it is the wisdom of an adoring mother to always always teach us valuable lessons in life..... This is video to share proudly.......
I remember the choir teacher played thar at the carol service and we didnt know what was going on. Then we heard the song and we all scrambled onto the platforms to sing XD
It means God loves you. And you don't need to speak english at all, the message is universal.

What Igniter Media has produced in 2:46 seconds has surpassed most, if not all, of what comes out of Hollywood these days.

His mother is up in heaven smiling that she finally got rewarded for that simple and small seed she planted so long ago, finally bared fruit.
Joy resides within the goodness of man. May all come to know firsthand the source of our goodness.
Terrific and so true...the best news in the world....The Lord has come!

Nothing like your Mother teaching you about the piano. Mine did it with the song, 'It is no secret what God can do.'
Made me feel cold..got goosebumps all over 😪😪😓😓😭😭
I Heard this on BOTT Radio earlier today and I needed to hear it again. The greatest news ever. 😀
How 121 people gave this a thumbs down is beyond me. Beautiful
The church I go to played this video last night during the service. I really enjoyed it!
I cant stop watching it! Sends chills down my spine.
No dislikes because everyone agrees that that's good news!
Seven haters in a season that represents what goodness can happen in the world. How can seven people not think this is good news?
What a wonderful Christmas Story - Amen.

Praise be to God!!
BEAUTIFUL, I LEARNED SOMETHING NEW TODAY! THANK YOU LORD!
I love this. It is such a gift.

MIND.....BLOWN....
Just happened upon this video. Felt like it was a message for me to start playing the piano again after 20+ years!
This was absolutely amazing! My 26-year old son has 'mild Autism,' but we never really experienced any real difficulties, in public; however, a friend of mine (who's daughter is autistic) recently told me of two, ridiculous incidents.
It is amazing what simple things can be the most beautiful!
Thank you and joyous !

I'm sending to my grandson Trent who loves the Lord and wishes he could sing but doesn't very well - I told him God hears in perfect pitch.
...simple truth! Thank you for this memorable way to spread the good news!

Amazing what happens when you slow down and pause every few steps, then see what you really have been missing!
Wow what an eye opener !
