- How would I organize it if I only had 2 to 3 kitchen cabinets! And this info is great for anyone trying to maximize their cabinet space!
The most important first step when trying to make the most of the cabinet space is to maximize the vertical space! Risers are amazing!
ALSO!! Investing in modular dishware that neatly nests in and next to each other so you don’t waste any additional space is HUGE!! Or small in this case 😆

Pro tip- put kid friendly cups and plates on the lower shelf so as soon as they are able to be more independent they can reach them easier

The over frig or microwave cabinet is ideal for baking sheets and trays. Simple dividers can be purchased to keep items upright. I've done this in multiple homes.😊

I put my canned vegetables up there I’m too short to be needing a ladder every time I need to bake something

My kitchen is super small, so I put plates, glasses, and cups in drawers so my kids could reach them since they were about 2 or 3 years old (before that, the drawers were locked). In the cabinets, I keep kitchen appliances, cooking pots, condiments, canned food, and pantry staples like pasta, rice, lentils, oil, and vinegar.
Same and our house was a new build but felt like I lived in an apartment with more cabinets. One of these cabinets is 2 of my ONLY cabinet spaces not including reusable storage for leftovers and salads. I think I just need to demo and start over 😅

Check out The Minimal Mom! She’s done at least a couple videos on how she organizes their camper.
I always found that it helped my little ones be independent having plastics at a lower level that they could grab things themselves I never had to worry about anything being dropped or broken and they loved routing in that cupboard... It was also the first things that I allowed them to learn how to wash up... Again for the same reasons of no worries and easy learning for them it's definitely a hack I'd recommend to parents.
Plastics are great for their meals great for painting great playing in the bath.. Amazing how much fun a wooden spoon and a plastic cup is with bubble bath time... Kept them entertained for ages 😄😊

Omg this came at the right time.We just bought a house, and the downfall is that there is very limited cabinet space. Please keep them coming. I need all the organizational help I can get😊.
We have a ton of cabinets & since decluttering some. It’s just genuinely easier to keep a lot in the lower shelfs (Cause I’m short)
It’s a lot harder to use riders in cabinets when you’re short 😅 So I use them on the counter.

i'd love to see you organize the counter. Small kitchens have little space and I can see in that kitchen it was a struggle to find empty counters to work on.
Yeah, it’s insulting to get told organizational advice from someone in a $100,000 kitchen with 60 cupboards, 70 enormous drawers, etc $$$, etc (overstating the size obviously lol) I’m always thinking if she can’t organize her kitchen being THAT big and having literally NO Budget, just buy every single thing you see and might want…. I actually get insulted from some of these people. If she can’t organize THAT kitchen? She deserves to lose it!

Try living in a tiny Apt with 2 cupboards and 3 tiny drawers! No linen closets, no space!

I grew up in tiny apartments. Now that I have a gigantic kitchen with tons of storage, I only use 3.5 cabinets incl pantry items. What should I do of the extra space? 👀
Yes!! I feel like I only really use half of my kitchen so I’ve use the other spaces for paper storage since we don’t have an office, I’ll place, our countertop appliances in there, so they’re off the counters, making it easier to clean, and honestly sometimes I just sit empty and I use them when I need to store something up there temporarily 🤩

I ripped out my cabinets and have open shelving. Storage and decorative.
You could do some bulk shopping to get deals on your favorite items and store the extras in there. Or you could take them out and do a mini workstation and desk, bar or coffee bar, or a small cafe table
A small linen closet would be helpful
I moved in an apartment that only had one full cabinet with 2 shelves and 4 half cabinets without shelves. Weirdest cabinets I've ever seen. I had to buy risers too.
As I was reading this all I kept thinking of is I need to tell you about risers and then I read the end. It was so grateful that you had already purchased them! They make such a huge difference! Isn’t it funny how some apartments have some funny quirks… it makes you wonder what the builders were thinking when they did that 😆 like they must’ve had some purpose for it 😆
That is triple the kitchen space I have. I would so love to have the storage problem of that kitchen. * sigh *

My apartment HAS NO lower cabinets and the upper ones are much more narrow and not as talls these ones are. It is a handicapped accessible apartment. Thankfully it actually has a pantry closet which I have really never had even in my ex big beautiful house ( DIV)

I have 9 cabinets (not including under sink cabinet) and 3 drawers. For a family of 6. And my husband doesn’t understand why I want a good spice rack. He currently has 4 of the 9 cabinets full of spices. It’s rough.

I’m so glad you are here!!! I would use a decorative Lazy Susan, there and place bottles of cooking oil, and seasonings in pretty bottles there 🤩 maybe even a faux plant 🤩

Top shelf - drink mixes
Middle shelf - nutribullet and drinking glasses
Bottom shelf - medications and mugs
Right cabinet is:
Top shelf - tortilla warmer, colander
Middle shelf - food storage with lids on them, dessert cups
Bottom shelf - Dinnerware, cheese grater, cutting board, salt and pepper, hot sauce

Technically that was 4 full size cabinets and 2 over the microwave. 1 cabinet per door because not everyone has double door cabinets.

There is definitely some wisdom that, but for some they need to know how to create more space just to fit the bare essentials, and my hope is this video will provide that for them 💗🎀
