Well done Maddy, excellent result. The Galloway forest is a great place to ride, I am lucky to live locally, I use Cush core in my gravel and mountain bike, I was sick of having to keep replacing tyres, the gravel is incredibly sharp in places. 👍😄
Fantastic result Maddy, you have to be pleased with that outcome considering how tough the gravel was and your small incident in stage two. Begs the question - what if……..? However, I suggest not looking backwards but looking forward to the next race. Keep it up, I feel a win is just around the corner 🤞
Ah the Bridget the Beagle content... She is a multi-tasking Beagle.. Spectator, Soigneur, Weight lifting aid, Comforter, (you) Masseuse (her) and Moral Boosting Supporter for The Ribble Collective.
For this race I ran a Ribble Gravel SL 1x with a 42T chainring. 11-40 cassette. Vittoria terreno dry tyres (38s, but they measure 42mm on my Parcours Alta wheels.) Handlebars are 38s and the same as my road bike.
btw i love the font you use to introduce the stages ('Stage 2') Are you mkaing those by hand or is that a font available online? Great work out on the gravel :)
