** Not complaining ** I bought the sticks you linked in the video and they bind when I put the controller back together. Seems like something that should be easily fixed. The binding happens when the dome is pressed into the cup (not sure how better to word that) which makes me thin the dome is sitting high or the dome is too large. I figure with as much as you are doing with your controllers that you might have a recommendation.
@@yoltsbp I ended up sanding down the posts on the thumbsticks and also took off the accent rings for now. Until I sand it a little more. Having the screw loose made it still stick if I gripped it hard enough.
I noticed your analogs was sticking and then you didn't even flick or move them at the end. Was this successful or a fail with the xbox elite analogs? Mine are sticking so I'd love to hear a fix so they are smooth and go back to 0 when not in use.
I followed every single step in the video but my sticks seem to get stuck in certain positions. It seems the dome may be a smidge too thick or it rests too high, compared to original sticks
You have to apply pressure of the analog to the stick, it happened to me but in order to fix it. Attach almost everything back, then apply the battery and after hold onto the motherboard and battery and press on the analog stick as hard as you can. Once you did that, you’ll notice that the analog won’t stick.
Man this is nostalgic...reminds me of back in IchibanStunta days

Did you ever figure out a fix for this?
Ive run into the same problem
Awesome job man. It turned out looking great.
How did you keep the left analog stick from sticking in place? I have the same sticks and the left one is right and the right one is fine.
Same here. Any chance you figured it out?
@@The-Secret-Toast i ended up sanding down the inside plastic to give it more room and loosened the screws a little

@@The-Secret-Toast maybe there is a variance in their machining that would explain our issues and how this video shows no issue
@@yoltsbp very well could be. They're definitely cheaply mass produced. After shaving down the peg it sits on it's working amazing so 🤷🏻♂️
COULD YOU PLEASE TRY PUTTING IN THE XBOX STICKS
Im def gonna need to swap my sticks, I hate the way the sock ones are concave but convex at the same time, convex only imo. Nice video
Would it be possible to replace an analog stick with a spare dpad?

Hmm that’s weird mine are perfect no issues... there might be a slight variation in production
@@JustCallMeChris at 11:09 your left stick got stuck, that’s what mine do
@@chrisburnett4845 I’m sorry to be confusing... once I mashed down and fully seated the sticks i have had no issues
My sticks get stuck as well.
@@JustCallMeChris How did you mashed them?
I got the same sticks but I notice that mine seem to rub the housing causing them to stick. Did you have that issue?

@@Themarcoalmonte This is important! i tryed but still get stuck! Can u help me with more details???
You taking any request/business to do it for the public ?
Not at the time but maybe in the future... there are at least 2 more mod videos coming soon
@@JustCallMeChris all good homie, look forward to the videos
🙂
Seems like a lot of work for just that.
It is but... the next video will be worth it!
