That hunter in Uldaman was so dumb...when they were explaining the strat, only 1 person was talking. He wasn't paying attention, went afk, and then tried blaming his teammates for "talking at once"
That mage clip... imagine choosing your low level character in a version that allows for death... and sacrificing your level 60 character on a version that's perma-death... I cannot kekw hard enough at that decision-making.

Yeah the Hunter just made me mad. He was straight up afk prior to them explaining the last boss. Then his brain is still disengaged post pull (whole group running upstairs and he just runs into an empty room with the boss). He'd have gotten people killed in MC...it's for the best.
Then tries to act like everyone talking confused him. He was CLEARLY afk during the explanation of what they were gonna do. Absolutely deserved.
I would genuinely be embarrassed to be as situationally unaware as that hunter, sheesh.

The last disconnect is so sad. If he didn't look for petri in his bag and just used the double action bars he made, he would have been fine. But it's really hard to do the right thing when stress fills you up. I wonder if it was close after SoD launch. HC got some disconnects in Europe and also 15 second shutdown warning at one time.
just recently had that, said 10:00 minutes till shutdown, literally 10 seconds later 00:05 seconds until shutdown and we got kicked in a dungeon. nobody died but we wasted a run
I saw it live on his stream ; it was the week of the release of SoD so definitely linked to the disconnects that happened at that time.

@@KingJerbear Well, you can spam your abilities for a bit first as the fight intends. You have to hearth before it finishes.
Petri works on that debuff too?
@@voidex136 The debuff lowers your max HP every tick, not sure what happens if it reaches 0 and you ignore the 1shot from damage after, but would be interesting to see what happens if you petri it. But yeah the common tactic is hearthing because raid boss debuffs are removed from you if you leave the raid instance ever since the corrupted blood thing way back in the day.
Zero pity for that first warlock, holy crap, runs away, runs back TOWARDS the whelp, then just stands there "I'm dead bro" you deserved it at that point.

I reacted faster than he did. Log on, alive, iceblocks, no time to move. Petri! Then he thinks four people died to DC including him but two were already dead before he dc'd. Lack of awareness.

This was perhaps the most frustrating Hardcore death video to watch. The warlock who just gave up instead of running, the rogue who kept damaging the skeleton while he was running away, the hunter blaming his teammates for going AFK and not listening to the boss strategy, lag killing the warrior at the end, and worst of all, the mage MULTIBOXING on a hardcore character and dying on both! Overconfidence kills everyone...
What would you have done as the rogue?

Dude had no idea what was going on during Vael. You can see them actually reading the burning adrenaline debuff. No research for the fights beforehand in hardcore? Goodbye to your 100 hours, bub.
200+ at that point. a good (any) hunter just leveling will be about 100 hours
Getting to 60 takes like 5-6 days of playtime if you're zoomin. Getting prepped for BWL at level 60 is another 4-5 days minimum. My estimate is 250 hours minimum to get back to that point.
I don't raid, do you have to hearth? That the only way to survive it?

7:42 that one was so unfortunate. if he had not backpeddled out and just dedicated that one extra second or two to pumping out another attack or two the boss would have died and he would have survived.
if you look carefully at the threat meter you can see exactly how long it takes from the moment he pulls threat to the second he is actually clapped by the boss's next attack, it was too late to save his life well before he even started to backpeddle out, so the only option was to pump (or petri) and unfortunately he decided to not do that.
A double character death combo is taking it to the next level (even if one wasn't hc, I know).
Also sad that that last guy was so close to clicking a petri, but took too much time orienting himself.
I can accept die in any way in the game, but die due to disconnection is unacceptable , so I definitely not play the HC
my thoughts exactly. can never play hardcore in a blizz server as long as its not made for HC, but its fun to watch though
I mean, you can transfer your chars onto Softcore realms after youve died. Sure, wouldnt care for a lvl 18 char, but if I invested the typical 200 hours, you still can transfer your char to your chosing, but I totally can understand if you dont wanna do it or invest the fee. It didnt happen to me yet, but if it did, Id probably stopped playing too.

I've played hardcore for more than two months and only experienced a single DC during SoD launch that fortunately did not result in my death.
However, I've had a ton of fun playing hardcore until now and will continue to do so. Dying due to reasons outside of my control doesn't somehow nullify all the fun I've had playing this game. Therefore I'm having hard time understanding this argument. If you don't enjoy the journey of leveling to 60 then maybe it's not the game for you, regardless of hardcore.

but that wasnt our strat :) we decided to full petri that phase, so he was focused on petri at relog. sadly he forgot to put back his bind before the beginning of the encounter.
Or just guild can say to him to not log atm, 15 sec later all will be fine for him. I really don't understand why no one warned him

@@dinkodinev9867 It takes ages for a character to be kicked out of the game when you disconnect in the middle of a fight. We couldnt know he was disconnected (he was muted on discord), we thought he was waiting for petri like everyone else did.

It's easy to say this in hindsight. Dude was probably still in panic mode trying to get back in see if he was still alive had 5 seconds to figure out what his situation was.
It was less that 3 seconds. He removed it after fatfingered it and forgot to put a bind after that. It was a situation you can't understand when you can't reach max lvl 60 in hardcore probably.

Not really the issue tho, the Hunter was just AFK and blamed his mates. Reminds me of the healer checking his guear in ZG and not listening to Raid Lead and OnlyFangs main tank died. They don't want to assume they're at fault, coz that means they have to learn something and Classic WoW players are allergic to it.
I do agree tho that killing the boss normally is easier when you know the fight. It's not that hard. One DPS just needs to be assigned to kill the adds (rogue for exemple).
Many people do the run-out strat, because not everyone is aware of how this fight goes, even tho it's not that hard. They're also afraid they can't run away because of closed doors.
These people need to memorize where their petri flasks are LMAO

They were multboxing multiple mages, one in SOD and one in hardcore. Literally alt tabs from the hardcore mage to the SOD mage to try and save them....like the SOD mage dying mattered. Alt tabs back and the hardcore mage is also dead. Get wrecked, multiboxer.
