I think a soulmate is someone that just pulls part of your soul, of your heart, out of your body just by looking at them. They make you feel safe, make you smile, no matter how terrible and painful the situation is. When you look in their eyes, you look at their soul and you just see that purity, no matter how rough their past has been. You look at them and you just have that feeling of hope that even if it goes terribly wrong, they'll come back to you.

A soulmate to me is someone who feels like something you've missing but didn't know you were missing. With them around you feel so comfortable and feel at peace
They make you feel like your anxiety is non existent. They feel like your bestfriend and you can be you utter true self and feel guilty when you pretend to be someone else cause you just want to be do authentic to them and they love you so much and don't even change you. They are your opposite you. They are similar to you but different. With them around you forget that the world if the world is moving .
I think a soulmate means,, someone who loves you for you. Doesn’t ask you to change. Always does everything to make you feel better and happy. Helps you though your dark times.

A little while ago "my soulmate" broke up with me. Not because of cheating or falling out of love or anything, simply timing, we both wanted different things and needed to go separate ways. My "soulmate" made me feel like this but then made me believe that love never existed in the first place.
Here I’ll tell you something that I can only hope you hold on to in the hard days and those in which aren’t so hard. Love, it’s everything and at the same time we as humans do not cherish it like we should. I used to think like so many others love was supposed to be understood but it’s not. It’s supposed to be felt, appreciated, and we must allow it to grow. Thing is so many of us hold it back from growing, we tend to think with all of these expectations that we forget that the person we love will go through changes and evolve. But that doesn’t mean we lost them it just means we go about loving who they are becoming and chose that everyday. Unfortunately that’s not something at least this generation knows how to do anymore. That’s why you hear people say back in the day things were different and they probably were. Back in the day when you actually had to meet up with the person to have a conversation or make more effort to get what you wanted because it wasn’t as accessible it allowed people to truly go for what they wanted and fight for it. Now you can literally cheat on someone on a cellphone and not even have to go out of your way to do so. There are people out there with old souls or those who have truly mastered the peace of mind they needed with themselves to not feel like they have to fill voids which lead to self destruction or sabotaging but instead are are able to share that love with another. I hope you find that person even if it’s the same one who left or got away. You deserve to be loved, we all make mistakes and some of us influenced by everything but our authentic selves react out of that and not being at peace with ourselves. So know that those who are at war with themselves might hurt you but you never deserved it even if they did it knowingly truth is they really don’t know why they do what they do the true deep seeded reasons that are usually because they are empty and not fully whole as a person. Remember that, you deserve good things no matter how others treat you which you should never let it happen and protect your mind, body, and soul.

This hit me hard because, I’ve found my soulmate but, he’s leaving because him and his father got into a fight, literally. He said that he’ll never leave my life and I believe him because, he makes me feel safe, he makes me feel loved, he’s always promised me that he’ll never leave me, he broke down those walls around my heart that I spent years and years building up and fortifying so that I wouldn’t be hurt again. I had been hurt so much in the past but all of those years shutting everyone out and pushing them away, he’s fixed those wounds in just a year. I found my soulmate and even if we can’t see each other every day, I will fight to see him as much as I can and I’m not letting him leave my life so easily, I’m not letting him go when I’ve just begun to open up again. I’m not letting the one person, who understands me more than my own mother leave me completely, even if I have to fight a thousand battles just to be with him; I’ll do it. Even if I have to go to parties with thousands of people, even with my anxiety, I’ll do it.

i met someone a few days ago, and it already feels like I've known him from the beginning.
