    I am so blessed to have found your videos! A 66 year old woman living in Idaho! My body has changed having put on over 20 pounds n the last couple of years and did not know how to dress anymore. I was giving up! After your lovely help, my hubby gave me the go ahead to purchase a new capsule wardrobe! Today I had a very important appointment and I felt so confident in putting myself together thanks to you!! Thank you so very much!!

    Kudos to the ladies for taking part so we all can benefit. Echo the comment from one of the ladies about the orangey-red coloured top, would never have picked that either but it really made the outfit and was so flattering on her.

    Melissa, would you consider doing an episode for older men ? Particularly casual trousers and/or jeans. They all seem to be very short in the rise, and don't fit older men with larger waistlines and thinning legs. Good trousers for older men just dont seem to be available regardless of budget. Asking for my partner 😊

    Great video and wonderful group of ladies. I didn't realize until watching this, how much of a difference wearing a lighter colored top (instead of black) can make in achieving the hour glass figure. I routinely wear black jeans, with a black top and usually a camel color cardigan. I think I might feel differently if I wore the black jeans with a camel top and a black cardigan. I'm petite, so the cardigans generally come to my hips. I can't wait to try this lighter color top idea out. Thanks so much for all you and your team do to bring us great content. Much love from sunny California, Dawna

      I agree. When I saw the woman wearing the black slim fit top and black leggings, it looked slimming and would be something I would typically do, but boy did the lighter top ever change it up. I. talk about Melissa to other people for her tips and tricks and tell them that learning from her is a game changer. Not sure if they actually watch, but I think her advise has really changed my perspective on dressing and buying clothes. I have made small tweaks with the clothing that I currently have and what a difference! I just love her !

    When I first saw you in the wide pants and blouse I thought it looked overwhelming on you. But as I watched, I realized how lovely the look was! I think we’re so used to seeing the “ skinny” ( which I detested) that the change seems too much. But you looked gorgeous, I’ll bet in real life it was even better! I wonder what is the most difficult shape to dress ? What is the most difficult shape to find good clothes for? I am a classic pear shaped person at 5' 7" and size 12 but I cannot find trousers to fit me especially at Marks and Spencer. I can take off my trousers without undoing them because the waist seems to be the same size as the hips.
    They are making trousers for apple shape or ladies with a tummy. I am now desperate for trousers but I haven't got a clue where to shop for the ones that fit a pear shape.

    Thanks for being so open and sincere. I won't say you the usual 'you are beautiful, you don't need those devices' because even if you are, that's not the point.
    The point is, in my opinion, that your channel helps the every womant like me to feel better and less conscious about her imperfections.
    And you sharing your own doubts about your appearence is relatable and really on point with your mission. So I'm very glad you found some way to feel better and look better witouth giving up your beliefs about botox and fillers, that I share.

      Hi Melissa I think I told you a while back I knew you were doing something different. You just look so fresh and bright. That device sounds wonderful for your husband and daughter too. I love the white Love top.. ❤ No apologies on the video. I look forward to your videoes and never have been disappointed. You made amazing differences in the way these ladies bodies looked in flattering clothes. Your MIL is darling and loved the outfits you put her in, especially the orange top, nice pants and cute boots. You both did a great job on all the lovely ladies. It is so funny Melissa , I now look at people and think Oh that lady needs more shoulder support or that lady would look better in a boot cut jean. What I see here so much is big bustled women wearing leggings and a huge long top. This was just great and I am definitely going to try the cream or white tops instead of black so much as I am busty ( d cup). You and your team are amazing and I have learned so much. Wonderful videos as always! Can you share some styling tips on how to look balanced from the back. Most people only focus on how the front looks but neglect the back view lol from the front, I look completely well proportioned, I have a very defined hour glass shape, nice size bust, if you know what the kibbe styling method is, I’m a dramatic classic, so that being said, from the front, I look completely different than the back, I have a high waist so from the front view, it looks beautiful and feminine, however from the back view, it simply makes my upper back look tremendously wide lol I look like I’m all legs attached to my upper back lol I have figured out that sleeveless turtlenecks works great at adding some length from behind, but other than that, I can’t think of anything else which flatters both front and back, so I hope you can address how to look nice from the back as well as the front.

    Melissa, thank you and your team for all the work you put into your channel and videos. I enjoy watching, your advice is really helpful and it has certainly influenced how I shop and dress now.
    One area I still struggle with is skirts & legs. I used to live in short skirts and thick black tights but need to update this. I have some lovely long denim / maxi cargo skirts that look great with long boots but struggle with other footwear as I dont want to show bare legs.( Also can overheat in my office in long boots) I'm 5'11 so there can be a 'gap' between the hemline and my shorter boots and often any frontsplit shows a lot
    of leg, fine in the summer with a tan but not so much now! Thick black tights dont look right . Any advice would be great, or....if you could do a video/reel - that would be great!

    • @mmpersonalstyling
      @mmpersonalstyling  7 месяцев назад +1

      The simple answer is not to wear skirts when you haven’t got a tan or can’t wear them with long boots. There’s no magic answer other than that I’m afraid - I wish there was.

      Only if someone will volunteer who is postpartum - unfortunately we are at the mercy of the volunteers….

    Again thanks! I'm 59 years old and my body shape is pear and my style is eclectic. I like patterns and colors to be different. It would be nice if you do a fun video with eclectic styling for a change. Classic is very nice but having fun with clothes, jewelry and scarves makes you have a look different than most people.

    Could you do a video showing what kind of underwear to wear with white or light color so it doesn’t show an ugly cut on your but and it doesn’t show transparency also kinds of bra 😊 thank you

    Hello from Canada. Always look forward to seeing your videos! I have gotten a pair of shoulder pads to even out my proportions but I don’t know how to insert them. The instructions are not helpful. Would you be able to show how to attach them on one of your videos😊

    • @mmpersonalstyling
      @mmpersonalstyling  7 месяцев назад

      Of course but I have done this is many of the videos. You put the thinner end by your neck and if there’s Velcro on the top then you put the bra strap in between the Velcro

      Could you recommend somewhere to buy the shoulder pads please? Any I have bought previously have fallen off my shoulders when wearing thanks

      If someone like this volunteers then yes absolutely but I’m beholden to the people who volunteer I’m afraid. We do 1:1 sessions if that helps. Details can be found at www.mmpersonalstyling.co.uk

      I can’t control the stock levels I’m afraid and we show things on Instagram so the demand is always high from our videos…

    I wish you would not push facial products. I loose interest before you get to the styling. If you need to do this, can you put it at the end? Or a video on skin care separately. Thank you.

      Can’t you just fast forward over the bits you don’t want to see? My audience requested this information so I delivered it so surely it’s easier for you to fast forward than me not to deliver what many have asked for?
