I have been using the D5100. My pet squirrel bit the flash. Now the spring will not hold the flash up far enough to fire. I bought the D5500 and had 2 Sigma lenses and they work fine on the D5100 but messed up the auto focus on my D5500. I then bought a D5600. I recently fell and now the flash does not work. I bought the D600 off Adorama's used dept for $325. It is so advanced over the D5000 line and this guide is just what I needed. This video is so informative over other videos I have watched about the D600 or D610. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I love that I can still use my Dx lenses. I only have one FX lens.

The Nikon D610 came out in 2014....why did it take so long to get this incredible instructional video (5 1/2 years later)? I feel this camera was starting to get outdated in november 2019 with SO many newer MILC systems around. That being said, the Nikon D600/D610 series are pretty good and can be used even in 2022 when you know what to do.

27:00ish my AUTO ISO setting was achieved with the MAIN DIAL not the Secondary dial!!

the camera has to be on A P S M to achieve the front dial AUTO ISO NOT 'AUTO' or SCENE.
