Thank you so very much for explaining how to connect the heated grips from right to left side. I’ve watched several videos but yours has helped me out the most.

The Harley dealer wanted 10 hours just to install the handlebars but instead using this awesome video and the amazing support from James at KST I was able to take off my stock bars then send them to KST. They did all the wiring including the install of new grips and set back a ready to mount set of Mayhem Bagger bars. Total time not even trying to go quickly was 3 hours and easy. KST rocks and thank you so much for all the help. The picture of my controls looks great on the website lol

Great video! Just installed the Mayhem Bagger 12” bars today on my 2017 SGS. Took about 4 hours. Everything was pretty smooth and easy with the exception of getting the wires through the bar. As others have said the welds inside the bar are very rough and the wires get caught. Installed Bison bars onto my 21 Streetglide using this video…It was super doable and the results are amazing! A couple of things I did for those interested. I used weed eater string and I didn’t de-pin any connectors…. I plumbed both bar ends and switch slots first. Duct taped the wires, connectors, weed eater string and applied a light coat of Vaseline and pulled both the bar end and switch slot electrical wiring simultaneously ensuring I offset the connectors per entry point so I didn’t have a tie finish around the bends etc…. Pretty smooth for what I thought was going to be a tough install.

It comes stock on the bikes. It will have a black and purple wire going into it from the bike side. You might have to look under the bracket there for the amp and just above the blinker harness that exits the side hole. Sometimes it’s tucked away
@@kstkustoms1324 Many thanks I found it easily connected all good and working ,
I replaced stock bars with a set of 12 inch rise,
1.1/4"-diameter with the Centre section and tips taper to 1" should they give me problems reinstalling the fairing? thanks so much in advance I won't bother you any more Cheers Andy (Southwest England )
Great video, would love to put some custom bars on my street gilde. Was thinking to have my local harleydavsion dealer do the install. Depending on cost . Also concerned about warranty if I do it myself.
Do you have to remove the gas tank and move the ABS line for the 14-inch bars? Thank you
hi There
you guys did install a 14" Bison Handlebars for me in Daytona 2020, ate the time the heated grips i wanted to install from Harley were out of stock so i asked you guys to put the stock grips back on so I could do the heated grips at a later time when i have them.
my question is, would all the wiring for the heated grips which originally there inside the faring still be at their original locations or they are relocated when you had to re-route some wires for extra slack?
im planning to install the grips myself so any tips would be greatly appreciated>
PS: Love my 14" BISON Handlebars on my 2018 Streed Glide Special!!!!
Thank you for a great JOB!!
Hey Ted, did you need clutch and break line extensions for the 14 " bison bars, I'm going to get me a set. Thanks.
@@johnnyceeuontheroad.2389 No bro KTS did it for me without changing the cables/wires.
for up to 14" they do with stocks cables.
im very happy with the bars and the install.
@@tedarshad3652 thanks Ted arshad for the info they look mean !! 👍I just got them in mail today.
@@johnnyceeuontheroad.2389 nice, you gonna love them bro, they are awesome!
Cheers
good show thanks
Will you make these for the 2021 Street glide?? I been looking for new bars I love yours but I don't think they work on the 2021 models
Are new Poly bushings needed / suggested with a new Electra Glide Standard and these 12" Mayhems?
So if I bought 10” or 12” for my 2019 Harley Electra glide standard the stock cables will reach? I won’t have to buy longer clutch, brake cables and all that?
That’s correct. All you will need is the wire extensions
Hey man excellent video! Gonna order some KST 16’s today. Can I run a 16” with using cable extensions only on 14 street glide?
Any videos for older harley glides 90s-2008
Great Vlog! I had 12" bars put on my 16 street glide at a HD dealer/Anniversary party here in Wisconsin. They look great and are comfortable but since the switch my throttle seems overly sensitive/jerky while riding. Any little bump seems to effect it. Any ideas?
You don’t think it’s just because your hands are in a different position? The handlebars wouldn’t cause the throttle to act differently
In the process of finishing up 12inch bagger nation but I’m having problems with fitment on the clutch and front brake lines any suggestions @KST Kustoms
I have a 2020 Streetglide Special with RDRS I would prefer you guys install your bars, heated grips, and mirror brackets. How do I contact you or find you at the next event. I’m in NY not sure if you guys will be at the Americade in Lake George in June or if it will be a go. Thanks
Small world! I live in lake george myself!
What is the bars just move up and down what do we need to do to fix that and do you have a video on that?
i know its recommended but is it necessary to change to polyurethane bushings with 10 or 12 in bars? TIA
