Wow, I was just wondering today how to change bars on these new bikes. What a phenomenal step by step instructional video. Harley put a lot of engineering to these models to make the bar change so much easier. You've got a new subscriber!! Well done sir. I cannot give this enough likes
Dude that is amazing video I am somewhat a mechanic but not on motorcycles I had it the whole thing done handlebars installed everything in 2 hours with your video help you are simply just totally amazing thank you for everything it saved me $850 but Harley was going to charge
Great Video! I was able to do the clutch cable without removing that pin (my snap ring pliers wouldn't fit anyway), but could help someone who is worried about that part.
Excellent Video! One thing I would like to add is that the handlebars can be adjusted with the fairing in place by removing the cell phone tray, it just slides out. With the tray removed you have access to the riser bolts.
For future handlebar adjustments, example repositioning the handlebars after new seat install, does the entire fairing have to be removed or just the plastic fork lock cover? Thanks.
Just put the 10” Patriots on my 24 SG last night. It can be done without removing the inner fairing completely with a little bit of finessing but definitely more of a pain.
I just sub to your channel.... great install video..... I'll get with you for my 2024 Road Glide.... I seen you at Foothills Mall for the Smoky Mt Harley-Davidson Bike week..... I got you on som of my videos I did
This is a great video. I was able to complete the job in about 4 hours going real slow. One problem those is that the the clutch and brake lever mounts have about a 1/8" or 1/16" inch gap. The controls arent moving but there is a gap. Any idea ??
Great video. I have purchased the 12” Bison’s and I’m so looking forward to getting them swapped. Harley says they charge 7 hours labor and wants $900. I am in Indianapolis, any suggestions on somewhere I can get them installed cheaper without voiding warranty?
Fantastic instructional video. The only comment is the lighting. I think with good video lighting the process would stand out even more. Can you still use the stock mirrors with these 12" bars, like can you see them? Looks like it. I had 12" bars on a 23 street glide and with that older design you couldn't see the mirrors at all, they were perfectly blocked.
High Occtane H.D. is putting the patriot bagger 12" on m 2024 CVO StreetGlide having hard time with the brake line telling me need to put 4" extended brake line for a safer & better looking Job. i have been waiting since February
Hey man. I hate to hear that they are trying to sell you on that. We have probably done more of these than anyone in the country, ive never changed the brake line. Even up to 14" with stock brake line
My name is Reinaldo, I have a pearlescent white Street Glide 2024, I live in Brazil in the city of São Paulo and I would like to buy this handlebar, how much does it cost and if you ship to my country?
Yeah it’s bundled with the handlebar. Go to the product page for the handlebar style you are looking for and you can select yes or no on the clutch cable
I find it funny how they state you don’t need to change cables will the bars yet on the install video they use a different clutch cable upper. How about a video showing you bending that hard casing clutch line…
Point it out if I’m wrong but where is it stated that you don’t have to change the clutch cable on this bike? Pretty cut and dry on bending the stock one. Just form it/manipulate it until it fits the new geometry. You will still need the clutch extension if that’s the route you choose, which is stated. It’s just a lot cleaner and the same money installing a flexible upper
@@williamjurgenson3502 they are making them custom for us right now. They had hoped to have them available for mass production in 4 weeks. I have a lot of inventory built up in house. I have them bundled with the street glide bars for the 23cvo/24 street glide on the website
Can the 3 piece Bars be installed on the 2024 CVO ST and installing 3” riser and 14” bars? I had a 2018 Road Glide Special 14” bars on it I want to go up 16” equivalent on the 2024 CVO ST using 3” riser 3 piece KST bars and be at what the 2018 would be if installing 16” bars on it. You can do the adjustments without the fairing removal. Remove the tray and trim piece and then with a ball bit, you can tighten or loosen the risers

Thanks for the insight. We did figure this out after the fact as well 😂. I need to post a separate video showing that
@kstkustoms1324 please do!
You can actually adjust the handlebar angle after complete assembly by simply removing USB drawer. It will give you perfect access to adjustment bolts
Good to know! Any tricks to removing the USB drawer?
@@djs022867 no tricks, just give it a little tug.
@djs022867 honestly, it's kinda flimsy. Just keep pulling it firmly past the stop and it should pop out.

How much longer of an upper clutch line was used from Magnum? What is the size of stock and the size of the magnum upper?
In the 2024 street glide video. How tall were those bars that you used?
12”
So you only need a longer clutch cable for 12 inch everything else will work ok ?
