Keep up to date with what is happening on my twitter account: / gophergaming
I feel like a time traveling having Dragonborn DLC while Gopher is getting excited about the Dawnguard trailer...
dude.. this video was uploaded 1 year ago..
***** That's exactly my point..? I only just started watching this playlist.
What should I say now? Prehistorical time travel…. 😅
I have over 400 hours in skyrim on console. I just finally bought skyrim on steam a day ago(since I was tired of waiting for ps3 dlc) and your videos helped me find the best mods and authors possible, totally refined my Skyrim experience. Thanks man!
Awesome video as always. Also, wearable lanterns saved my life on my pure warrior playthrough. Really nice mod.
You have made me download so many mods I would never have even looked at for fear of it not being worth it
Yeah I agree. It could do with a 'Lore' version that is more like an MMM for Skyrim. But I have to admire the sheer scope of the mod. It adds so many different things :)
If you look at the mod page there is a lore friendly link if you scroll almost all the way down. Love the vids gopher keep them up :D
Thanks for showing how to install, it really helps especially for mods that 'download with manager' isn't an option.
Amazing mod reviews! I've watched all your videos, keep them coming!
I second that. Keep up the top class work Gopher.
I love those lantern mods! They add a better feel to the game I think, instead of having that torch taking up so much of the screen.
Sometimes I turn on your videos and just chill to your awesome voice.
another great video as usual, keep up the good work Gopher! :)
Love your channel Gopher. Thanks for all the help with modding :D
You know the fact that we see so many great Witcher 2 AddOns in Skyrim really is a testiment to how great BOTH games are.
Thank you Gopher for featuring SkyTEST!
probably my favorite movie ever. and easily my favorite movie scene ever
When I want to explore dark places, I would usually just equip a helmet with permanent night vision enchantment. The advantage is that enemies won't be able to see you in the dark, but you can see them.
This was a great episode. Keep it up, Gopher =)
addicted to these vids.
I so know that feel. Its kinda silly to be watching a skyrim mod series knowing I can't even play it, so every episode with really kickass mods kills me inside.
Excellent. Thanks for that info! I watched it and it looks quite nice.
Dude: Sea Dragons... that sea dragon looks freaking AMAZING
OH MY GOD IKR!!! I WAS SOO LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT MOD! D:
As always, great video
Fairly new, yes. I had it since close to the day it was released but waited until I got a better videocard before I started playing it in earnest. And that number has doubled since my previous post. :)
Man, I love the outtro!
That monster mod sounds awesome :)
Nice video as always!
There is also an addon mod called Monster Mod Lore Friendly, this removes certain monsters to make everything more lore friendly. A must have if you didn't want dinosaurs roaming Skyrim. And the author always updates when the official monster mod updates.
If you guys ever make mods like this for 360. You would make many people like me a very happy person :)
I enjoyed and found this videos veryusefull. Thanks, I like your videos.
XD When you were talking about skytest, you reminded me when I got jumped by 9 wolves.
There was an official update released by Bethesda that gives magic and archers new kill cams as well as adding new kill moves.
Oh. Thank you for the information. After the Vampire Wolves and Durzogs, I guess I was just shooting everything new mefore it could melt my face off.
Gopher, there is a lore-friendly version of the Skyrim Monster Mod. Look on the mod page, there is a link to one made by Jackstarr and endorsed by Dogtown1 (the Skyrim Monster Mod author). It doesn't completely gut the mod, just removes a few out-of-place creatures (like the triceratops) and renames a few others to make more sense in the setting. You should try it out - all it is is a replacement .esp that alters the levelled lists and a few names. :)
There is a lore friendly version of the monster mod btw :)
Does the Dawnguard video have any spoilers? I've put in 30 hours so far and am not all that far in beating Skyrim yet and want nothing spoiled.
Good vid as always, Gopher!
i cant wait for the release of down guard the dlc for skyrim
i wish i could pick and choose what monsters i add to the game :/
You can if you edit the files.
ah wise you are lol thanks man
Whoever made those mods should really join Bethesda.
Not bad. I`ll be impressed when i see the cloverfield monster
For a lore version, look for Skyrim Monster Mod Lore-Friendlier Replacer" by JackStarr on nexus. It's also linked somewhere on the Skyrim Monster Mod page.
It has 1 version that is friendlier and one that is truly lore friendly.
Drakes, I believe have had something to do with the elder scrolls, they haven't appeared in any games but some research was done to see what connection they had with Dragons, but it was found out thay they were a completley different species.
I must say, Gopher, I absolutely adore how politely you deal with the obnoxious idiots that roam around the internet. I salute you, Hoo-Rah
Aaaand I just found out it's also back on the Nexus. It's been uploaded by Ironman1000. Great news as far as I'm concerned! Go get it everybody!
I just want to say thanks, I'd been a keen modder of PC games (recipient, not creator) a few years ago until my PC became too dated. Last Christmas saw me get my new PC, and if it wasn't for your introductions to modding Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim, my PC gaming experience would be nowhere near as enjoyable as it is today.
Did you look at the "Lore Friendly Replacer"? There is a link on the Skyrim Monster Mod page. I haven't tried it yet, but am considering it.
Fairly certain it's good editing :D
Gopher you could mention in another video that there's a addon to the Monstermod that removes all the Non-Elder scrolls monsters and renames some of them properly.
It's called Monster mod replacer lore friendly and others
It's 'Dawnguard' and it'll be a DLC (DownLoadable Content) which sometimes free and sometimes paid but it usually doesn't cost too much...
I watch gopher here to learn more. He is the best iv found on you tube. I think.
you sounds so professional :O
Unfortunately yes, there are ways to prevent it but it is annoying that you have to do that. It is probably the biggest obstacle to me uploading my mods to the Workshop at the moment.
Hungers were also in shivering Isles and lol at the Witcher troll
oh gopher how i love your vids :)
The undead from 02:57 is also based on the one form the Witcher 2 game.
because of the mods is why i am getting a computer that can handle skyrim and its mods. 360 is great but i want more.
Sweet an internet fight, this pleases me.
No there really seems to be nothing in the trailer that is related to the Skyrim stories or even the Dragonborn questline. So watch it :)
best skyrim recordin ive seen
You're just awesome!
I'v just killed a little bear cub because it frightened me with his bear voice. Damn you, Monster Mod!
I kept thinking of Monty Pythons Quest for the Holy Grail when I was killing that rabbit :)
i just liked for the clips at the end
There is a lore friendly version but it takes out most of the monsters and only keeps the ones that are somewhat lore friendly.
Thx again man!
Love his vids
Oh shit, that is a good fucking comeback.
they're already is one. I like the monster mod for all creatures
Actually there's Lore friendly version and a modular replacer mod made by others, they are linked on the mod's page.
Nevermind. I just checked the mod page and found out there are tow different versions of the Lore Replacer mod; Standard and Purist. I thought there was only the Standard one, which does not remove some of the non-lore creatures (eg. Raptors) and merely renames them but the Purist one is good. :)
Are you native Norwegian or do you come from UK or something? You got an amazing voice.
I hope they can bring this mod to Skyrim remastered
I love this guys accent
I haven't played skyrim on xbox for almost 2 weeks ever since I got skyrim on pc.
the monster mod is now on modmb and other sites like so people can see its still a wip and alive. It was taken down due to copyright textures from other games.
So should I get monster mod or immersive creatures or both?
they don't add same monsters so I'd say use both
Hey Gopher have you ever played the Witcher 2 (since you don't seem to recognise many of the creatures which have been imported from that game)? I strongly recommend it if you haven't, it's a must have. It has a MUCH better RPG element than skyrim but is much less of a sandbox.
Good Idea! Tell the mod creator that, as you may have noticed 90% of his creatures are from different games.
the tree people/giants would be pretty cool in the original game
The Monster mod is available at
moddb(Dot)com(Slash)mods(Slash)skymomod-v12(Slash)news(Slash)skyrim-monster-mod
Thumbs up so people can see.
Gopher you deserve way more views! You're fucking awesome!
They should make a mod where some of them can be maybe tamed somehow along with some of the other normal skyrim creatures similar to a way that u had armored trolls in dawnguard but instead like a pet ogre where you tame it and train it to follow u and defend you. Or maybe a pack of pet wolves that help you take down draugr in dungeons. It would be so awesome if you can tame undead and dremora more and more powerful as you excel in conjuration and the same for other types of creature
AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
best fucking comeback ever
I think the one at 3:00 is supposed to be a take on coldhands from game of thrones
is there a mod wich remove the annoying etc bears close to the roads.... very annoyed with rideing my horse around and be forced to jump off alot its a small thing but i would love it that animals were more "in woods or in the wild" and staying away from the roads atlist the lager once
Minotaurs are extinct in the Elder Scrolls Lore, they went extinct a few years after the Events in Oblivion
Just for immersion, maybe some survived :)
Wish there was a lore friendly pack for Monster Mod.
Well the Escalated Quickly
personally i feel that the ogres and trolls should be swapped round, but thats mainly because i am a fan of lotr and warhammer
...Oh right and by "check the box" i mean check the box next to the plug-in in your data files (should be a thing that says "data files" on your skyrim launcher, next to "play game")
Gopher, are you going to be using the Monster Mod, if not could you tell me because I thought this mod looked cool but I really dont like the Tricerotops or Balrog
I am thinking about buying Skyrim, I have played it before, and found the combat kind of vanilla, my question would be, is there a mod similar to Project Nevada (for New Vegas), made for Skyrim?
No lantern for me, will bring back scary Amnesia thoughts in caves!
More than awesome, it was BWAAAAAAAAA
Its an in game thing its a finishing move. They are somewhat random
I would love this mod if he made a lore friendly file (you know, under the files tab) he could just have it say... Main files, Monster mod-Full version. And, Monster mod-Lore friendly version.
This is on ModDb now Thumbs this up so the questioners can see!
Use "Skyrim: Immersive Creatures", it's amazing and does more or less the same.
