FYI. Cape is on the back, cloaks go around the front and can be brought together to cover the front from the cold. A cape just sits on the back and doesn't even cover the shoulders.
technically. one is for decoration only. the other is for function. the cape would be worn for formal events and serve no purpose other than to be flowy and look nice. where as a cloak would be worn in a similar manner. but as you said, it could be drawn over you to keep you warm/dry in harsh weathers. some pourer people would even use a cloak as a blanket in bed
No, MGE made Warzones for Fallout NV and Skyrim :) Myself and MGE made Imaginator for Skyrim, but in Fallout NV it was MGE and Marcurios. Me and MGE have collaborated quite a few times on projects. He even did the graphics for the Unified HUD Project in FNV and FO3.

I used to play on ps3, it was glitchy as fuck (2011-2014) but I still watched these videos. Just this year I built my gaming pc and I can now play skyrim with hd graphics on all ultra settings with mods. It will get better, there is always hope.

@Wykdwolffie I can turn the effect down. When recording video my frame rate is cut to about 50% of normal and it does make the transitions slow and jerky. I will turn it down to 0.6 so it is barely noticeable.

these are capes, I think. Cloaks wrap around a person a bit more. Instead of Superman, think Raven from teen titans. That's a cloak. Hoods are not ALWAYS parts of cloaks I don't think, but they often are. If there was a mod that made cloaks with hoods that allowed you to put the hood up or down, that would be amazing.

"Vanilla" refers to the non-modified game. For example, when someone refers to the "Vanilla" look of Skyrim, they mean the original, non-modified look.
Two questions. First, why is there an Incredibles section of video in the middle? Second, could you consider turning off Dynavision during your recording? A little distracting at times. Either way, great video as always.
What I've found after switching between RCRN and Realistic Lighting is that while outdoors RCRN is the one I prefer. BUT, when I go inside a cave/dungeon (indoors in general I think, haven't checked with houses yet, just caves or tombs etc.) it is not as dark as I prefer it. So, conclusion: RCRN is superior outdoors, and when it comes to caves (indoors possibly) Realistic lighting is the better one. Thinking of trying to use both at the same time, with the preferred results... :)
The only problem I have with all the darker lighting mods is that it really makes it feel like things don't cast lights. You just see windows glowing like they're LEDs but they don't cast light like you'd expect. Or you walk into a dungeon and a lamp only casts light in a small circle around it like the light just stops. It really breaks the mood.

I heard this was a game bug due to going below a brightness threshold and not to do with the mods themselves but does RCRN have the same problem as Realistic Lighting, when it's dark (interior or night), using Nightingale Blade (or probably other weapons that do absorb health/stamina) causes the screen to darken to pure blackness.

I've got a new pc, and I'm starting a new playthough. What mods do you recomend for the typical adventurer? I'm not new to modding, but I'm quite selective of mods and might have missed out a few :P
Damn it, The only thing I disliked in "Realistic Lighting mod" was the dungeons, they are damn dark, I mean I'm cool with that to a certain point, which is sneaky type, sneaky type players such as Myself, don't really bother with Torches/Magiclights, I mean what's the point of being sneaky player if you gonna walk around with a blody torch in ya hand, right? PLEASE THUMBS UP So he can see what's bad about those lighting mods.

They do actually have hoods, you just can't wear them so you see them laying down on your back :P

I can't use RCRN because I'm playing with a character that uses greatswords, and switching between weapon and magelight is uber annoying.
