so the price went up whit almost 10000? When I suscribed it was 26000
Right! That was for the base model. 250 mile range limited solar. Still not 100% sure where the price will land.
So in other words there hasn’t been a $10,000 price increase - in the video they’re talking about the price for the launch edition, which is a 400 mile range and higher specs than the base model.
@@kevinscott8642 that's how I understand it. However we haven't seen the final price yet.
@@kevinscott8642 I ordered a 400 mile range 2 engine full solar at the time for 26800
If it comes in higher than my Oder statement then it will become a cancled order.
It’s your decision of course, but I think if there’s an increase that’s proportionate to what inflation has been since they originally set the pricing a few years ago, that would be reasonable. Personally, I’m definitely still getting my Aptera even if it’s a few thousand dollars more.
Thanks Chad, Jerry and David!
Did many people have a chance to experience the Knock Knock to open feature?
FYI I rode in the old Aptera Motors Inc Aptera 2e back ~ 2009 in Princeton, NJ. The Green Car Book … APTERA , by Tom Warhol where they had a target price losted of $25 to 40 k for that old model “ back then” !
Chad can wait for his Aptera.. He and especiallySarah are young ! 😉
If we want to get their Aptera to them earlier… You know the famous Beatles Song🎼 Eight Days a Week 🎶… So if Aptera goes 8 days/ 2 shifts… They will be fine.
BTW In the video … I noticed that ⚠wrinkled green carpet, under Gamma. It may trip/loose some customers😳… I may have to send a proper green or red rollout carpet 😉
It was a Jankie looking carpet! 🤣
@@dtl Maybe I can find a nice one and get it printed with a DTL logo?!😉 And send a roll of Duct Tape!
@@elertus yes!!
lots and lots of people got to try the knock knock feature, they went nuts over it!
