After years of kitchen chairs, cheap office chairs and furniture, and my most recent torn old Costco chair, I decided to get myself a new office chair. Something not black leather and chrome! I'm not a gamer, I'm a pro nature photographer with a relatively new RUclips Channel, nothing to do with nature. I just began updating my office. IKEA Hack (Kitchen Counters & Alex Drawer Units). I decided on this GRUPPSPEL chair, overall it's a decent chair, pretty comfortable, I do like it and will be keeping it. I've only used it for a few days so bare that in mind. It's far from perfect, however, poor casters, hard plastic armrests, definitely not plush etc. But let's face it it's considered a budget chair and there will always be features and quality lacking at this price point. Although I think it's overpriced, maybe 25%, but's that's my opinion. I'm certain with a little research you could find something superior on Amazon, comfort wise perhaps, but I do like the looks, and have no doubts it will give me years of service! But you saw my old chair. 😊

I have had years of back pain finally got them addressed. So i have been obcessed over IKEA -Hattefjall….its the ONLY chair that felt like just takes all the stress out of spine. It’s funny my family’s $4000 Steel Case Leap was NOT as comfortable as that heavy IKEA Hattefjall lol. Got one for 1 family. Within 24 hours, someone else grab 1 too cuz they tried ,,, upon the installation, it’s sooooo comfy. IKEA makes great chairs man.
Great to hear, I must admit I never took proper posture very seriously,
But aging certainly can change that. I find my chair perfectly comfortable, with a few minor quarks

I tried it in the store. Didn't like how the seat bends upwards in the back. Very uncomfortable.
It does kinda rattle, I’ve quickly learned not to grab the armrests when moving it around, they constantly move positions, just a pet peave . The hard plastic armrest hasn’t been an issue for me…however but I can see it turning many off. 😊

Good Question, I honestly don’t know off hand. Kinda car bucket seat like 😊 I don’t game.
