I haven't watched a big game hunt video of yours in awhile and man it felt so good to come back and hang out while you browsed the store! Can't wait to get to Japan someday.
13:38 - The infamous Famicom kusogae, Takeshi's...Challenge or Takeshi's Big Quest! Couldn't make out the price, but I probably would have impulse bought that one. 20 minutes or so - I got all 3 Starfy games complete at a con about a decade ago. They're a lot of fun, really approachable for people who can't understand Japanese. 26:50ish - Love that 3D Hokuto no Ken, but the PS2 one by Arc *chef's kiss* 29:40 - Colony Wars is an absolute classic 48 minute mark or so ... man, I really liked Denny's when I visited Japan last spring but next time I go I've got to check out Yume An, Royal Host, etc...Man, I like this channel and these videos and whatnot but I'm still feeling bummed out because I don't know when I'll be able to make it back over there xD 1:02:00 - Xenogears is a banger, and one of the first Japanese language JRPGs I got to go with my PS2. I should have stocked up on more, to be honest 1:10:00 or so - That was a blast of great N64 games: Banjo, Goemon, Goemon, Snowboard Kids...great stuff! 1:27:00 or so - I could go for a Suntory High...When I drink I usually go with Sapporo...part of what I was specifically looking for (and eventually found) when I went thrifting over there were DVD sets of my favorite anime like, The Simpsons (seasons 3 - 5) and Tonari no Seinfeld (just season 1 that time). 1:30:00 - that controller is a long way from home, wow 1:34:48 - my Mom used to be huge into Bon Jovi. Had a bird named Tiko...oh snap Blade Runner on laserdisc definitely would have come home with me. 1:39:00 - ah dude, I could go for some JKFC...and I will always associate Ueno with Shin Megami Tensei 1:46:00 - I like Pokemon, but that Moon probably shouldn't be in the case...the Rockman behind Mark of the Wolves though... Wow, this was like 4 episodes in one. It was cool to listen to while playing with my little DS kanji trainer. Good stuff dude!
Damn, that junk lot at 21:20 is actually way better than similar lots that people try flipping on eBay for four times that price. Also, I always tell people about the four horsemen of bargain bin filler: soccer, mahjong, horse racing, and pachinko. Definitely the case here.
Hey, man! Can I ask about your Patreon here? I'd like to support you, but wanted clarity on games. Is there a set amount that typically comes or does it vary widely? Can we opt for boxed only? Thanks, dude!
It varies. You can request boxed only which are obviously more expensive. You can also request to have packages sent bimonthly or quarterly if you want to let your money roll over.
All right! Another HARD OFF hunt with Jim! I got halfway through this video yesterday and I’m about to finish the second half! Righteous!

Yikes those loose AV Famicoms are more expensive than the boxed one I imported a few years ago.

Nice 😊😊😊
Hello Jim ❤
Xbox360 mushi looks good!
WHy have prices on things like PS2 consoles gone so insane? Is it because everyone in the west is buying them up as they (were) generally cheaper?
Yes
