Dreamcast is one of my favourite consoles
and only recently pulled it back out of the box to play, love all the Capcom and SNK games you mention! But the main take away from this video is how cheap the games are over there! Third Strike complete for £14!! Over her in the UK it is over £100 🤦🏻 I need to convince the wife and kids we need a holiday in Japan pronto 😂

I finally repaired my Dreamcast back in December so I gotta start playing some more Resident Evil on it. Oh by the way Climax Landers also known as Time Stalkers is an RPG I only booted up my copy just to make sure it was working but I haven't gotten around to playing it to completion yet.
The Sega Dreamcast will never die because it lives in the hearts of all those who deeply love the great console.

I always have plenty of DC games in the house, especially anything published by Capcom, SNK, or Sega.
That Formula 1 game was actually a cart racing game. In North America it's called CART flag to flag. It's an amazing arcade style racing game. It's a 10 out of 10 racer and still holds up today.

I got my Dreamcast a year ago. Late to the party, I know. 😂 I'm a big Sega fan but the only console I owned of theirs when I was young was a Megadrive/Genesis, after that I became a Playstation kid. Now that I've started collecting older consoles/games have I gotten into the Saturn and Dreamcast, among others.
Saturn and Dreamcast have been two of my absolute favorite consoles to collect for, great game libraries on both of them, especially if you like a lot of arcade conversions.
always love me some dreamcast shopping videos! been having an absolute blast collecting for it since christmas. the wife's birthday is coming up so I was thinking of grabbing some of the Resident Evil games that were on DC I know she was a fan of that series. on the treasure stuff we were just playing ikaruga on xbox this morning... I'm inclined to agree with you, I want to like those games but I totally get it. they're super tough! might be on the lookout for giga wing though, that one seems a little less intense than some of the others. so much great stuff still to get though it's been hard deciding what to get next!
Well, I don't mind a super tough shooter as long as I can have fun with it, I just don't find Treasure shooters to be very fun. They're over designed if you ask me. When it comes to shmups, KISS, keep it simple, stupid.
I remember getting my first Dreamcast back on release. I sold my N64 and PS1 to get it. Such a great console. Just booked myself a nice little Amex-enabled discounted flight to Tokyo for November, £400 return for me and the wife, definitely will be looking for a few Dreamcast games, although they seem to be drying up, especially here in London.
I smashed the like button. Just recently acquired an official VGA adapter for Dreamcast so I am looking forward to hooking that up.

Climax Landers is a game by Climax, the guys who made Alundra, Landstalker, and Shining Force. It was released in the US as TimeStalkers. It's a crossover between all of Climax's games.
God, I wish I could walk into a gaming store and see gaming prices like this for Dreamcast games. Most of them are cheap enough just to try. Seriously, fantastic video.

I recently got back from the Sapporo Snow Festival and hit about 5 hardoffs/bookoffs on the outskirts of the city and there were almost NO dreamcast games 😢

Agreed about Treasure, shooters twist your brain logic. You die because you forgot about the gimmick for .5 seconds
KISS, keep it simple, stupid. I like tough shooters, but not over designed ones. Takes the fun out of them.

I'm surprised that THAT game in particular isn’t translated. The game is apparently licensed in The Netherlands, Amsterdam. (Where i live lol) No idea why Sega of Japan hasn't approached Sega of Europe.
I bought my Dreamcast two weeks after it launched and the 1st game was Blue Stinger (the place I bought it from didn’t have Sonic Adventure). The Dreamcast was a great console and deserved a better fate than what it got. Also, I would literally go broke if I go to Japan and I get near a retro game store. I would go crazy buying Dreamcast and Saturn games (as well as the consoles).

Me and a friend got heavily into Ikaruga for a little while. Trying to Max Combo in 2 player mode was interesting, until it became super annoying. I bounced off Radiant Silvergun though.
Same here, only like the mario Tennis game on gameboy and im not Interested in the Real Sport at all. Same for me with soccer, the only kind of soccer game i love to play is one of the kunio kun soccer games or how we call it in the West nintendo Worldcup for nes, man we played the shit out of this game when we were kids😂

I cant be bothered with the polarity gimmick in ikaruga, I do like radiant silvergun though, just managing weapons and chains.
