For trading, you definitely do NOT need those GPUs. Those GPUs are made for 3D gaming. Trading uses only 2D graphics. Total waste of money. But that Embody - awesome choice.
Great setup, but i was thinking couldn’t you use a Samsung Odyssey Ark instead of 2 Samsung Odyssey g9 and set the resolution for two inputs as 5120 x 1440 on top of each other i think that this would be much better👍
The Ark resolution is 4k at 3840x2160 so while the physical dimensions would match the 2 stacked 49"s the resolution would be much less. It would be the equivalent of having 49" monitors at 3840x1080 so this would not be much better.
You have it all wrong. If you are building a new computer every 2-3 years than I can tell you that you should format your computer and all laptops, tablets smartphones. At least every year. Imagine your dishwasher. You keep putting dishes in. But never run a cleaning cycle. The dishwasher will start stinking and will become overloaded. Same thing with your computers. Registry’s will get added crap that will run and you don’t need it. On top of that, don’t ever install google chrome. I did and checked the task manager. There was 10-13 different active tasks that were active in the background. It slowed my computer down and caused me to be frustrated with how slow the computer was running. Just a tip from a fellow trader that used to be an IT administrator and technician.
mostly cpu usuage on tradin gapp which sucks.. wish there was a way to utilize move gpu power. only thing i run gpu on is adobe pro for editing thats about it. @@ttoommxxmmoott

Of course, the refresh rate is less, but it would be better
At the time I starting building this setup the Ark wasn't released, but you are correct that would def be a better solution. Maybe the next setup.

Good question haha you really don't but at the time there were shortages in GPUs and this one was the only one in stock.

What monitor support do you use?
I have a Ergotron stand for the small monitors, a stand alone for large monitors running on display ports. That is it. The 3080TI runs all 4.
