One error on your part on personal exfil, you said: "this exfil can be called whilst in the gas as long as final exfil chopper hasn't left the map" if buy station is available after last exfil chopper leaves, you can buy exfil chopper from buy station and exfil. i missed final exfil chopper, and was waiting game to end but game didn't end, until gas covered last buy station. took a moment to realize it rushed to buy station but chopper took too long to arrive and gas covered last buy station and died. TLDR: DMZ match ends when last buy station is covered by gas allowing you to miss last chopper and still exfil.
Double decker buildings in north east of Rohan Oil next to white tents usually has enough gear to make one of the 3-plate vests. Sometimes the buy station spawns connected to it as well.

Another thing i recognised recently, if you're in a vehicle and you are being shot at, you will only get the damage direction indicator if it is players. If it is bots shooting you, there is no indicator!
Any player can use the purchased exfil. If one teammate takes it and the rest stay behind for whatever reason the green smoke will re spawn and be available for other teammates to call in.
10:14 In the loading screen you can also click Z for your missions and then open your map. Also it's really easy to gear up through the bartering system, even durable gas masks are only 2x toothpaste and a lighter which are pretty common items
The heavy chopper will hoover if the pilot leaves the driver seat for any reason, also once the heavy chopper is gased up with heavy fuel it can be refueled at any regular gas station if you can get it close enough

About tip 14. You can open the squad missions, you can see the tab of Tac Map, if u click on that you can see the map and even ping where you want to go before the game is loaded
Here's another tip. If you revive a teamate with a revive pistol, if you drop the pistol and pick it back up, it will have all 4 charges again, meaning infinite teamate respawns :]
Best single loot spot is now in Akdar Village. You will likely find 2-3 different types of vest, weapons and other high value items. I would also recommend farming skeleton keys, makes regain simple plus for solos trying to obtain keys, this alleviates that i.e. room 302.
DMZ has come such a long way! Just got back into it today and I'm hooked. I play SOLO so it's really tense and immersive. People say playing alone is hard but I haven't had that problem. Just gotta be a little sneaky. I can't wait to see what they've got planned down the line. So far DMZ has single handedly brought me back to COD.
I do way better solo then with randoms. If I follow my teammates, I die, if I wait for them I get spawn killed/ pushed, if i try to revive them, no luck, enemies camping bodies the entire 20 mins of the match. If you load into my team in dmz and you don't follow me, your on your own. 🤙
Not really the amount of times I have had a solo rage on proxy because we killed them 😂 Botching about they just wanted to do missions etc. PvP is part of the game, unless you are going up against useless PvP players, no solo is beating three to six half decent players!

Something regarding each commander. Specifically in Al-Mazrah, each commander is pretty much guaranteed to drop one of the 4 special plates, Chemist drops Medic, Scavenger drops Ghost, Pyro drops Tempered, and Juggy drops Comms (I need to double check this one). So if you want these new plates and you're not doubting your skill, go to these commanders.
Not true, scavenger drop what the player it is mimicking had, plenty of times he has dropped two plate or a regular three plate when I killed him. He is guaranteed a gold skull and advanced uav though!

10:11 - Durable Gas Masks are actually much easier to find now since you can barter for them at Buy Stations. It takes two Toothpastes and one Lighter.
That's helpful, thanks. Especially with personal exfil in the beginning of the round. The missing info here, in my opinion, that is essential imho are: 1. Heavy choppers can be refueled at gas stations(but not with gas cans) 2. Comms vest works on 100 meters from you(just my observations, needs more testing). 3. Comms vest is silenced(does not indicate operators) when operators use a stealth vest. 4. Personal exfil works even in radiation. You can buy it at the shop that is already in radiation and use it even if it is in radiation. They will come to pick you up no matter what. 5. Tempered vest is not here for some reason. You can also use it in combo with other vests as only 2 plates could replate it instead of 3, and when you put on a different vest, it will still have full plates. Not the best way to use it, but it sometimes saves lives :)
Whatever you extract in the secure backpack will transfer to your other operators if you switch to them and load into a new round. Great way to regear one of your operators after he dies
Yes we discovered this last night! It was a suprise given you cannot transfer large backpacks between operators but for whatever reason, you can transfer secure backpack. I am guessing this is some kind of oversight and will get patched eventually so make the most of it to gear up or re-gear all your operators fast while you can!
Regarding the spawn locations, you can also press Y(or whatever key is set for missions tab) and then switch to map and be able to see where are the contracts/strongholds/vehicles while players are still loading into the game.
I dont know if it was like this last season, but B21 starts you off with a 3 plate vest, large backpack, and a 5 attachment silenced Fennic. You have to loot a dead player and take their vest and bag if you want to have them on extract, but i usually can stay low while looting until the end and then get out pretty easily. Usually youll come across dead players that you can loot as you go. You get to keep the Fennic too so its pretty good to have a contraband stash filled with silenced 5 attatchment guns.
Really enjoying this season as a solo player, a good balance of PvE and PvP. Thanks for the tips, the late exfil and calling in the heli just before gas comes is a solo's dream and I've been using it alot recently.
There is a fourth new vest. The Tempered Vest can only be bartered for on Ashika and it uses 2 plates instead of 3 but provides the same amount of armor as a 3 plate
Not true it actually is greater protection than three plates, otherwise it would be redundant... Also I believe it has greater protection Vs armour piercing, explosive rounds etc!
Ive shot a playe on the other side of a street. I was on roof him on street. I head shoteed with anti armor rounds equipped. Not armor piercing. And i just cracked them.
He literally says they didn't know for some time, which could mean two days after the game launched or two months. They didn't figure this out recently.
Some Hostage Rescue locations have only glass windows you can breach without setting off the countdown timer like going through the doors does. Not all of them, but some.
I've been doing the mission item selling thing too. It's nice to have a little bit of cash to get plates right away. I think plates are the most crucial item to have and the earlier you have some the better. I'm also loving the personal exfil. Today I used it to extract the train case. Had a crazy fight with multiple squads on the train and got out with the case using the personal exfil in a remote area of the map.
A great find for extracting with the Scavenger Calling card is to have the secure BP equipt and then once you kill the Scavenger pickup and exfill with the card. It will stay with you and you can quickly infil and exfil until the mission is complete. As long as you do not remove the calling card you can help your friends with this mission. At launch it was an actual spawn on that spot. Being right next to a player spawn isn't really the issue as most people will have moved away from their spawn once you get a hold of a helicopter and need to refuel it.
If any PC player had a problem with map scroll wheel zoom in / out after season 3 update, go to keybinds.. combat.. next weapon.. set scroll wheel down.. go to advanced combat.. previous weapon.. set scroll wheel up.. this binds the map zoom in and out to scroll wheel. 👌🏻
It will track as your insured slot when you equip and infil. I had 3 dupes, they counted as insureds and disappeared 1 by 1 after realizing this and unequiping. Even had a dupe from insured slot that was on cooldown, equipped that one and it registered as my final open insured slot. It may briefly seem it's been duped, but in the end it is not.
We actually spawned behind the containers again, twice, at the north of Hafid where that gas station is. Also spawned on the rocks beside it on the north along the water. The heavy chopper can be refueled at gas stations which I love and unfortunately, when I press ESC at the map screen when loading, I just get a black screen now. Also, 2 of us spawned in with a black screen but could seen the mini map. The other friend on our team was fine so we used the mini map and his eyes to exfil at the top of Zaya. It was insane.
Regarding zip lines you can also grab the orange zip line support stanchion and stand on it instead of the ledge, great for surprising enemies. You just have to time it right when you hit the top of the zip.
Just really started playing DMZ and it's a really fun game mode. Challenging yet rewarding when you complete missions. Thanks for the tips, I will most def use them
No as long as you call it and exfil before the screen turns black and insta kill's anyone left on the map, you can leave after the final exfil. Again all on the timing as so far I have managed to just exfil with seconds before insta death with it and also died during takeoff to the insta kill effect of black screen!
Another awesome thing, the Tempered vest, it's a 2 plate , but each plate is 75 HP! You can get it either by killing the pyro, or craft it in ashika island! Great content !
In addition to #9 about heavy choppers you can use gas stations to refuel it. Since others might think that only "normal" gas and "electricity" can only work on gas stations haha.
That last tip, on PC you can press Y to view your squad missions and then use mouse to press in TAC Map to see the actual map. Edit: actually, the TAC map trick works once you're in game but can't normally press Map key.
I really wish the "reduced time" for insured weapon cooldowns could be "banked" in the event that none of them are on cooldown anyway. That way, when you eventually lose your weapon, that effort up to that point wasn't wasted (in terms of cooldown, I understand you get XP as well))
I agree, I think though that they should keep like 10 min left that u have to play, so that the contraband items are still important. (especially because with the new update now, we can use contraband however we want. Like I have a stash of like 18 or so that are all maxed out to what I usually would run. I do wish however that you could use the weapons table to change a gun to a certain skin, even if it was 500$-2000$ for a skin alone, idk sometimes you just have the money for it, and I love using polyatomic items)
For the early spawn tip there's a better one. You can press Z to bring up the missions interface then you can switch to the map on the top. You can start to plan your round before it even started
First item I got on my first solo of season 3 on Al Mazrah was the heavy chopper fuel. Didn't even know it only spawned on the train. I got really lucky
Don't tell the devs, but - on PC if you press the "squad missions" button before the round starts then ***click*** the map tab at the top of the UI, you can preview the full map. Buy stations won't spawn until round start, but contracts and vehicles are visible. Good hunting & full salams to all.
I play solo and if you do B21 you can farm skeleton keys. I have 20 from tonight. The recipe is 3 encrypted hard drives which are easy to find on B21. I was getting 2 or 3 skeleton keys per round, and while looking for them I found the loot required for the tempered vest nearly every time. I have a great loop that has tons of the loot required, and its relatively safe. I usually have to go to the buy station because I'm filled up with hard drives before I even get the chance to finish my loot loop. I feel like they made the bots a little easier. I dont think I've died to the bots at all since season 3 started. Maybe I just got a little better.
My mates and I were on a personal exfil the same time the final exfil was leaving, we were about 5 seconds behind of the final on takeoff. About 15 seconds of flying we were just about to get the exfil cutscene and it killed us all. Just so you are aware lol
Another tip. The revive pistol doesn't go away after you use it and swap out for another field upgrade now. So use it a couple times, swap another upgrade and re-equip it and it will be full again
There are several strategies that open up from the secure backpack: 1. Load it with 5 Advanced UAVs (and get your squad to do the same. Boom, 15 advanced UAVs for your sweat round) 2. Load it with essential items to push quickly in the next match like an extra selfie, uav, a stack of plates, and a couple gold bars for quick purchases at buy stations. 3. Carry a large backpack in it to swap with so you always have capacity. 4. Use it to send valuable items and gear to your other operators after they lose all their stuff. 5. Make gathering items for barter or missions a lot easier since you can try several rounds in a row to gather them all instead of just one.
Using a secured bag, going to ashika with a weapons locker key and getting the gpus allows you to barter for 3 use skeleton keys on al maz. You can also barter for them on ashika but they're only one use iirc. Been doing this the last couple of days and currently have 8 3 use skeleton keys in my stash.
@@hobojoe9717 not always. But you have like a 98% chance of getting at least 1 if you open up all 3 lockers. Most of the time you get 1-2 for sure. But if I remember it is 2 gold bars and 5 computer components to make a gpu on ashika. Which bars are easier to find. But the secure backpack way is the best way to make the key. On ashika it is vintage wine I believe needed

The last tip about the spawn location actually if you press the Y (quest page) when it pops you can go to the map page so you can see not only the spawn location but also the actual contracts or weapon case location etc
Abusing the secure backpack and active duty operators is also quite fun. If you have one operator with the secure backpack, you can exfil with some of the more rarer items. After that, you can switch to an operator without the backpack, but you still get to actually keep what you looted, meaning that you could start your next round with a scavenger backpack with five gold skulls or something even better, like self revs.
The other day, it was season 2, I jumped off the building planning to shoot into the chopper but i pulled too soon and landed right in the perfect position on top! I was excited because I never try to do it, it just happened!
Was in a game with you jackfrags and Westie, noticed you glitched into my pre-game lobby and immediately cursed having the new battle rifle for levelling and not my sniper. Sure enough, you 3 and another team mate are lined up perfectly on a mountain edge when I go to exfil, I might not have won, but I would surely have gotten some downs instead of getting killed by the 4th muppet on exfil :(
Pressing escape during the drone view screen? My friends, you can open the squad mission menu (I think 'Y' is the PC default) letting you open the TAC MAP during that time. Can even start pinging stuff already. This has been possible ever since launch.
Turrets on Ashika and in building 21 - do not hurt the player. Only if you get too close. I think this bug will be fixed soon, but so far they are completely harmless. And one more thing - some people cannot get into building 21 due to an error that is still not clear what is connected with. "You need to install DLC" something like that. But those who go there this weekend completely without weapons and armor - get 3 plates, self-reanimation, a large backpack and a fully upgraded vector in a spare backpack slot. immediately after the countdown to the start of the match - the character will suddenly be fully clothed. Have fun until it's fixed.😇
Legend. My best tip to get better is to catch Stodeh and Westie (and friends) streams during the week (around 6am ET) and watch them go about their missions and crazy gameplay for a few hours. Never a dull moment!
For solo players, they should make contracts a set amount of cash that will be evenly distributed, so instead of getting 6500 for an HVT kill, you'd get 6500 x 3 because you're the only person in your squad. That way people aren't also super inclined to join up into 6 man squads and run around the map doing all the contracts, and if they do, punish them in some form (like giving them half contract reward cash for being in a 6 man team). They either need to buff rewards for solo players or give them more features that benefit their playstyle and can't be abused by teams of 2 or 3+.
I think stealth vest is the most op addition to season 3! You can waltz up on players using uav towers or regular or advanced uav now and they will have no clue unless they spot you visually before you ambush them 😂
Man, it seems like the game know what i want, when i make comm vest i just need one battery left and found nothing, until my teammates drop it after looting, same with stealth vest When try to make one vest, the other vest ingredients are easyly available
I'm glad Stod found his niche on DMZ, and that there's an active community around this game mode. Personally not my cup of tea, but to each their own. I would actually like to try this mode but none of my friends are interested.. they're solid WZ1 players who quit WZ2 because it's simply not the same. Serious question tho... Wouldn't it benefit EVERYONE if COD simply created a stand alone title for DMZ? Instead of destroying the core mechanics of WZ1 and Multiplayer.. I mean they could've sold this DMZ separately and made more money. Instead of adding it to an already clutter of game modes in COD. It's clear to see that they slowed the pace by a ton to make a realistic extraction FPS in DMZ.. The problem is that same slow pace, tactical, and realistic mechanics contradicts everything COD used to stand for.
Would like to see the vests and backpacks comparison test. like for the common vest, how it works, How wide the detection range is. and for the backpacks like that secure pack, when I RTB can I share the items in the secure pack with my other operators?
As Far as in Loading Screen, I Used to be Able to Hit 'Esc' on Keyboard, and It Showed Where We Were Loading Into. Esc Doesn't Work Now....Glad You Found a New Key. It's Trivial Knowledge, but It Satisfies the Hacker Tastebuds.
I'm called ASF on Call of Duty but I'm still getting the hang of DMZ I got my 1st exfll the night before last, I ended up buying the EOD bundle and that 15 minute cool down is a god send 💯 the one everyone is crying over 😊
When you're spawing in, instead of pressing escape, press the button to see your teams missions, and you can see the big map as well while the normal map button isn't available yet
For your final tip, it’s better to press Y on PC to open your squads mission and you can click on the tac map at the top to open your map see what vehicle is around you
On the last chapter, you can also press "Y" and enter the tac-map before you really spawn. See your location and nearby contracts :) Great video as allways
See spawn points earlier 10:15: Press Y on your keyboard (or the button to open your missions) to open your missions, then switch between missions and map. It can be done immediately after the loading screen hits that gray loading screen.
#14 if you see this screen hit Y or what key you interact for Squad Missions. then select Tac-Map on top of the screen you can use map before all players for ping or search like heli or uav towers. Also you can check your keybindings by pressin P at the menu or in game.
You forgot to mention the tempered vest! Not even sure how you get them as I have only ever gotten them from other players so far, but a friend I okay with said he found one in a loot crate? The chopper tip was valid from season 2, easiest way to avoid being chopped by the blades is to aim for one of the tail wings and land on there. Season 2 you could still jump from the side wheel arches to the roof railings without getting chopped, but they seem to have patched that now as I cannot get into the rail anymore when I tried numerous times at the start of season 3. The Comms vest is not so great, given advanced uav still does not differentiate between bot and player, other than the rare occasions the game glitches and shows one enemy as a regular uav solid marker underneath the round marker for advanced uav. But also the uav towers on a map are 150m odd range, but whenever I have gear the comm best indicator of a team and was close to a uav, it never shows players in range, so my guess is the range of nearby operators indicates greater than 150m, which unless you have a regular or advanced uav to hand, is not as useful as the idea sounds... The medic vest is actually really useful! Revives of downed players are far faster but the best part is dead players can be revived just as fast as regular downed players now! Makes all the difference in a fire fight to get someone back in the fight before you get pushed or discovered reviving on the cheeky 😂. Finally you forgot to mention the scavenger hunt, you are almost always guaranteed a good skull and advanced uav from him. But most of the time he will have a three plate and custom ar or sniper, depending on what the operator who died had equipped! Also the juggernaut is a guarantee of gold skull and advanced uav so still worth killing him for some easy loot and the uav. Oh and the calling exfil with EEE, you do not need to leave the vehicle if you are a passenger and climb to the roof! This allows for full speed exfil calls as your team mate races through the exfil spot! Another note on vehicles if you haven't covered it before, always prone on the roof if you have one or two plates and worried you might get down by bots or players, your body will stay on the roof Vs falling out as a passenger when downed! Also great for team mates without a gas mask as you can carry them through the radiation to exfil if they die to radiation due to no mask. Also another team mate can always climb to the roof and revive as you run from gas, player or bots! The zip wire mantle is new to me and definitely going to be used as the amount of times a proxy on traffic control has downed me on a push lol, thank you!
If you die, go straight into Building 21 and get a single kill on a player, pick up they're 3 plate + backpack etc. and you have everything in one round and sub 10 minutes 😊

The missing info here, in my opinion, that is essential imho are:
1. Heavy choppers can be refueled at gas stations(but not with gas cans)
2. Comms vest works on 100 meters from you(just my observations, needs more testing).
3. Comms vest is silenced(does not indicate operators) when operators use a stealth vest.
4. Personal exfil works even in radiation. You can buy it at the shop that is already in radiation and use it even if it is in radiation. They will come to pick you up no matter what.
5. Tempered vest is not here for some reason. You can also use it in combo with other vests as only 2 plates could replate it instead of 3, and when you put on a different vest, it will still have full plates. Not the best way to use it, but it sometimes saves lives :)
Whatever you extract in the secure backpack will transfer to your other operators if you switch to them and load into a new round. Great way to regear one of your operators after he dies
Do this for both ops with two secure and one scav and two vests

It was a suprise given you cannot transfer large backpacks between operators but for whatever reason, you can transfer secure backpack.
I am guessing this is some kind of oversight and will get patched eventually so make the most of it to gear up or re-gear all your operators fast while you can!

Regarding the spawn locations, you can also press Y(or whatever key is set for missions tab) and then switch to map and be able to see where are the contracts/strongholds/vehicles while players are still loading into the game.

I dont know if it was like this last season, but B21 starts you off with a 3 plate vest, large backpack, and a 5 attachment silenced Fennic. You have to loot a dead player and take their vest and bag if you want to have them on extract, but i usually can stay low while looting until the end and then get out pretty easily. Usually youll come across dead players that you can loot as you go. You get to keep the Fennic too so its pretty good to have a contraband stash filled with silenced 5 attatchment guns.
Really enjoying this season as a solo player, a good balance of PvE and PvP. Thanks for the tips, the late exfil and calling in the heli just before gas comes is a solo's dream and I've been using it alot recently.

There is a fourth new vest. The Tempered Vest can only be bartered for on Ashika and it uses 2 plates instead of 3 but provides the same amount of armor as a 3 plate
Not true it actually is greater protection than three plates, otherwise it would be redundant... Also I believe it has greater protection Vs armour piercing, explosive rounds etc!

Ive shot a playe on the other side of a street. I was on roof him on street. I head shoteed with anti armor rounds equipped. Not armor piercing. And i just cracked them.
Kinda surprised they didn't know about the HVTs spawning regardless. That's been in since the launch of the game.
One time hvt use to spawn in with every big group ai spawn so youd hear hvt confirmed when running over every squad in the chemist zone😹

He literally says they didn't know for some time, which could mean two days after the game launched or two months. They didn't figure this out recently.

Some Hostage Rescue locations have only glass windows you can breach without setting off the countdown timer like going through the doors does. Not all of them, but some.

I've been doing the mission item selling thing too. It's nice to have a little bit of cash to get plates right away. I think plates are the most crucial item to have and the earlier you have some the better. I'm also loving the personal exfil. Today I used it to extract the train case. Had a crazy fight with multiple squads on the train and got out with the case using the personal exfil in a remote area of the map.
A great find for extracting with the Scavenger Calling card is to have the secure BP equipt and then once you kill the Scavenger pickup and exfill with the card. It will stay with you and you can quickly infil and exfil until the mission is complete. As long as you do not remove the calling card you can help your friends with this mission. For the chauffeur mission. Stack nuclear fuel rods in the secure bag to instantly buy the personal exfil
I just completed that missions last night, it was beautiful. Killed two guys at airport and convinced them to let me join 😁😁😁
The funny thing about the Hafid Port refuel spot, is its still right next to a player spawn cause my last DMZ mission spawned me 50 meters from it
At launch it was an actual spawn on that spot. Being right next to a player spawn isn't really the issue as most people will have moved away from their spawn once you get a hold of a helicopter and need to refuel it.
I'm not sure if the last one works anymore, I used to do that in the previous season but now it just shows a black screen when I try it.
If any PC player had a problem with map scroll wheel zoom in / out after season 3 update, go to keybinds.. combat.. next weapon.. set scroll wheel down.. go to advanced combat.. previous weapon.. set scroll wheel up.. this binds the map zoom in and out to scroll wheel. 👌🏻
Tip: in the active duty menu 1 put an insured weapon in a medium or large bag - switch to an active duty without backpack. Ding ding free contraband 😉

It will track as your insured slot when you equip and infil. I had 3 dupes, they counted as insureds and disappeared 1 by 1 after realizing this and unequiping. Even had a dupe from insured slot that was on cooldown, equipped that one and it registered as my final open insured slot. It may briefly seem it's been duped, but in the end it is not.
We actually spawned behind the containers again, twice, at the north of Hafid where that gas station is. Also spawned on the rocks beside it on the north along the water.
The heavy chopper can be refueled at gas stations which I love and unfortunately, when I press ESC at the map screen when loading, I just get a black screen now. Also, 2 of us spawned in with a black screen but could seen the mini map. The other friend on our team was fine so we used the mini map and his eyes to exfil at the top of Zaya. It was insane.
Regarding zip lines you can also grab the orange zip line support stanchion and stand on it instead of the ledge, great for surprising enemies. You just have to time it right when you hit the top of the zip.
Just really started playing DMZ and it's a really fun game mode. Challenging yet rewarding when you complete missions. Thanks for the tips, I will most def use them

Idk how long you playing, but just surviving one game is very difficult task.
It should be noted that a personal exfil during final exfil must be completed before the counter reaches 20 seconds
No as long as you call it and exfil before the screen turns black and insta kill's anyone left on the map, you can leave after the final exfil.
Again all on the timing as so far I have managed to just exfil with seconds before insta death with it and also died during takeoff to the insta kill effect of black screen!
That makes sense, i had issues with last minute personal exfils killing me as i extract
Another awesome thing, the Tempered vest, it's a 2 plate , but each plate is 75 HP! You can get it either by killing the pyro, or craft it in ashika island! Great content !
The whole exfilling in the gas as long as you called it before the gas hits was already in Season 2. Used it all the time.
In addition to #9 about heavy choppers you can use gas stations to refuel it. Since others might think that only "normal" gas and "electricity" can only work on gas stations haha.
That last tip, on PC you can press Y to view your squad missions and then use mouse to press in TAC Map to see the actual map. Edit: actually, the TAC map trick works once you're in game but can't normally press Map key.
I really wish the "reduced time" for insured weapon cooldowns could be "banked" in the event that none of them are on cooldown anyway. That way, when you eventually lose your weapon, that effort up to that point wasn't wasted (in terms of cooldown, I understand you get XP as well))
I agree, I think though that they should keep like 10 min left that u have to play, so that the contraband items are still important. (especially because with the new update now, we can use contraband however we want. Like I have a stash of like 18 or so that are all maxed out to what I usually would run. I do wish however that you could use the weapons table to change a gun to a certain skin, even if it was 500$-2000$ for a skin alone, idk sometimes you just have the money for it, and I love using polyatomic items)
For the early spawn tip there's a better one. You can press Z to bring up the missions interface then you can switch to the map on the top. You can start to plan your round before it even started
First item I got on my first solo of season 3 on Al Mazrah was the heavy chopper fuel. Didn't even know it only spawned on the train. I got really lucky
Don't tell the devs, but - on PC if you press the "squad missions" button before the round starts then ***click*** the map tab at the top of the UI, you can preview the full map. Buy stations won't spawn until round start, but contracts and vehicles are visible. Good hunting & full salams to all.
Once you use the heavy chopper fuel to get it going, you can refuel it at any normal gas station!
I play solo and if you do B21 you can farm skeleton keys. I have 20 from tonight. The recipe is 3 encrypted hard drives which are easy to find on B21. I was getting 2 or 3 skeleton keys per round, and while looking for them I found the loot required for the tempered vest nearly every time. I have a great loop that has tons of the loot required, and its relatively safe. I usually have to go to the buy station because I'm filled up with hard drives before I even get the chance to finish my loot loop. I feel like they made the bots a little easier. I dont think I've died to the bots at all since season 3 started. Maybe I just got a little better.
On #14 on Console when I click Start it just shows a Black Screen sadly I wish I was still able to see where I was Spawning in this did t need a fix
My mates and I were on a personal exfil the same time the final exfil was leaving, we were about 5 seconds behind of the final on takeoff. About 15 seconds of flying we were just about to get the exfil cutscene and it killed us all. Just so you are aware lol
Another tip. The revive pistol doesn't go away after you use it and swap out for another field upgrade now. So use it a couple times, swap another upgrade and re-equip it and it will be full again
There are several strategies that open up from the secure backpack:
1. Load it with 5 Advanced UAVs (and get your squad to do the same. Boom, 15 advanced UAVs for your sweat round)
2. Load it with essential items to push quickly in the next match like an extra selfie, uav, a stack of plates, and a couple gold bars for quick purchases at buy stations.
3. Carry a large backpack in it to swap with so you always have capacity.
4. Use it to send valuable items and gear to your other operators after they lose all their stuff.
5. Make gathering items for barter or missions a lot easier since you can try several rounds in a row to gather them all instead of just one.
Using a secured bag, going to ashika with a weapons locker key and getting the gpus allows you to barter for 3 use skeleton keys on al maz. You can also barter for them on ashika but they're only one use iirc. Been doing this the last couple of days and currently have 8 3 use skeleton keys in my stash.
Are there guaranteed GPUs in the weapons lockers?
@@hobojoe9717 not always. But you have like a 98% chance of getting at least 1 if you open up all 3 lockers. Most of the time you get 1-2 for sure. But if I remember it is 2 gold bars and 5 computer components to make a gpu on ashika. Which bars are easier to find. But the secure backpack way is the best way to make the key. On ashika it is vintage wine I believe needed

The last tip about the spawn location actually if you press the Y (quest page) when it pops you can go to the map page so you can see not only the spawn location but also the actual contracts or weapon case location etc

Abusing the secure backpack and active duty operators is also quite fun. If you have one operator with the secure backpack, you can exfil with some of the more rarer items. After that, you can switch to an operator without the backpack, but you still get to actually keep what you looted, meaning that you could start your next round with a scavenger backpack with five gold skulls or something even better, like self revs.

The other day, it was season 2, I jumped off the building planning to shoot into the chopper but i pulled too soon and landed right in the perfect position on top! I was excited because I never try to do it, it just happened!

Was in a game with you jackfrags and Westie, noticed you glitched into my pre-game lobby and immediately cursed having the new battle rifle for levelling and not my sniper. Sure enough, you 3 and another team mate are lined up perfectly on a mountain edge when I go to exfil, I might not have won, but I would surely have gotten some downs instead of getting killed by the 4th muppet on exfil :(
Pressing escape during the drone view screen? My friends, you can open the squad mission menu (I think 'Y' is the PC default) letting you open the TAC MAP during that time. Can even start pinging stuff already. This has been possible ever since launch.

Turrets on Ashika and in building 21 - do not hurt the player. Only if you get too close. I think this bug will be fixed soon, but so far they are completely harmless. And one more thing - some people cannot get into building 21 due to an error that is still not clear what is connected with. "You need to install DLC" something like that. But those who go there this weekend completely without weapons and armor - get 3 plates, self-reanimation, a large backpack and a fully upgraded vector in a spare backpack slot. immediately after the countdown to the start of the match - the character will suddenly be fully clothed. Have fun until it's fixed.😇
Legend. My best tip to get better is to catch Stodeh and Westie (and friends) streams during the week (around 6am ET) and watch them go about their missions and crazy gameplay for a few hours. Never a dull moment!

For solo players, they should make contracts a set amount of cash that will be evenly distributed, so instead of getting 6500 for an HVT kill, you'd get 6500 x 3 because you're the only person in your squad. That way people aren't also super inclined to join up into 6 man squads and run around the map doing all the contracts, and if they do, punish them in some form (like giving them half contract reward cash for being in a 6 man team). They either need to buff rewards for solo players or give them more features that benefit their playstyle and can't be abused by teams of 2 or 3+.

You can waltz up on players using uav towers or regular or advanced uav now and they will have no clue unless they spot you visually before you ambush them 😂

Best loot is the game consoles for the stealth vest. Then batteries, gun cleaning oil and bandages next. Depending on what you find first.

I'm glad Stod found his niche on DMZ, and that there's an active community around this game mode. Personally not my cup of tea, but to each their own. I would actually like to try this mode but none of my friends are interested.. they're solid WZ1 players who quit WZ2 because it's simply not the same.
Serious question tho... Wouldn't it benefit EVERYONE if COD simply created a stand alone title for DMZ? Instead of destroying the core mechanics of WZ1 and Multiplayer..
I mean they could've sold this DMZ separately and made more money. Instead of adding it to an already clutter of game modes in COD.
It's clear to see that they slowed the pace by a ton to make a realistic extraction FPS in DMZ.. The problem is that same slow pace, tactical, and realistic mechanics contradicts everything COD used to stand for.
Would like to see the vests and backpacks comparison test. like for the common vest, how it works, How wide the detection range is. and for the backpacks like that secure pack, when I RTB can I share the items in the secure pack with my other operators?

6:28 you forgot to talk about how the comms vest hard counters the stealth vest and that adv UAVs still work on stealth vests
When you're spawing in, instead of pressing escape, press the button to see your teams missions, and you can see the big map as well while the normal map button isn't available yet
For your final tip, it’s better to press Y on PC to open your squads mission and you can click on the tac map at the top to open your map see what vehicle is around you
For the last tip, you can do this better way;) press Y on load screen and then capslock to see all map and youre spawn;)

See spawn points earlier 10:15: Press Y on your keyboard (or the button to open your missions) to open your missions, then switch between missions and map. It can be done immediately after the loading screen hits that gray loading screen.
I miss the token collections in S3 reloaded - They were a great way to make snipers de-camp because they need to collect the tokens.

Stodgy about the last tip when u spawn if u press the button for the teammates missions u can acesa the map and see exactly where u are
#14 if you see this screen hit Y or what key you interact for Squad Missions. then select Tac-Map on top of the screen you can use map before all players for ping or search like heli or uav towers. Also you can check your keybindings by pressin P at the menu or in game.

Not even sure how you get them as I have only ever gotten them from other players so far, but a friend I okay with said he found one in a loot crate?
The chopper tip was valid from season 2, easiest way to avoid being chopped by the blades is to aim for one of the tail wings and land on there.
Season 2 you could still jump from the side wheel arches to the roof railings without getting chopped, but they seem to have patched that now as I cannot get into the rail anymore when I tried numerous times at the start of season 3.
The Comms vest is not so great, given advanced uav still does not differentiate between bot and player, other than the rare occasions the game glitches and shows one enemy as a regular uav solid marker underneath the round marker for advanced uav.
But also the uav towers on a map are 150m odd range, but whenever I have gear the comm best indicator of a team and was close to a uav, it never shows players in range, so my guess is the range of nearby operators indicates greater than 150m, which unless you have a regular or advanced uav to hand, is not as useful as the idea sounds...
The medic vest is actually really useful! Revives of downed players are far faster but the best part is dead players can be revived just as fast as regular downed players now!
Makes all the difference in a fire fight to get someone back in the fight before you get pushed or discovered reviving on the cheeky 😂.
Finally you forgot to mention the scavenger hunt, you are almost always guaranteed a good skull and advanced uav from him.
But most of the time he will have a three plate and custom ar or sniper, depending on what the operator who died had equipped!
Also the juggernaut is a guarantee of gold skull and advanced uav so still worth killing him for some easy loot and the uav.
Oh and the calling exfil with EEE, you do not need to leave the vehicle if you are a passenger and climb to the roof! This allows for full speed exfil calls as your team mate races through the exfil spot!
Another note on vehicles if you haven't covered it before, always prone on the roof if you have one or two plates and worried you might get down by bots or players, your body will stay on the roof Vs falling out as a passenger when downed!
Also great for team mates without a gas mask as you can carry them through the radiation to exfil if they die to radiation due to no mask. Also another team mate can always climb to the roof and revive as you run from gas, player or bots!
The zip wire mantle is new to me and definitely going to be used as the amount of times a proxy on traffic control has downed me on a push lol, thank you!
If you die, go straight into Building 21 and get a single kill on a player, pick up they're 3 plate + backpack etc. and you have everything in one round and sub 10 minutes 😊
Or just loot the stuff for a tempered vest. You can usually get a few skeleton keys too. I have 20 skeleton keys now from just one night.
