- With DMZ Season 5 coming out today i want to make sure you have the tools for Solo DMZ and being able to crush your enemies in MW2 DMZ. Today im going to show you a barter for the stealth vest DMZ that makes it so so easy. I break down the Items you need for the stealth vest one by one and where to find the encrypted USB in the DMZ or the Game console for DMZ. I also show you one of the best Solo DMZ Key rooms in the game!

DMZ should add a pre-mission planning page where you can add waypoints you want to hit. Would be cool if your map was customizable so you could add POI's of your own.

When I play solo, I do my best to stay out of vehicles. I try to fly under the radar as much as possible.
Same here unless I need to be on the other side of the map, or if I come across the chopper. It's such a great way of being able to scope out areas and moving around the map.
As a fellow solo I’m the opposite 😂, i drive around bumping tunes sometimes my coms on but I’m making noise. Sometimes when I actually run into other squads they’re surprised I’m actually a solo. Imo the best weapon a solo can have is a car either you run over some dudes or you just run in general

I’m the opposite. First thing I look for is a chopper to fly around. If not a vehicle with plenty of gas.

The bank across from airport and the little strip shop next to it are great for crafting the stealth or comms vests. I usually find everything I need at that spot.
Or the police armory / server in al mazrah.. i always find an encrypted usb there

I'm more of a comms vest as solo player, but never realized that building next to art museum had all those computers! My go to spot for encrypteds, gpu, gold is the upper offices of the city skyscraper

Did you know if you have a 15min cooldown blueprint, you can assign it to your first and second insured, modify the blueprint, name it what you want and still have the 15min cooldown in both slots, using the same weapon.
Great tips vid, but I wonder if they nerfed the usb spawn with season 5. I found one in 3 hours tonight. That one time I made an ill advised attempt to get the vest bartered and didn't make final exfil, so 3 hours of trying to get my shit back. Ugh.
The check in terminal at airport is good to. Just run down the length of it and every bay has a cash register and a computer. Probably 15-20 of each in there.
Such a good video. The city is the best spot to hit up solo to get all the stuff you need for your regain. I think my favorite spawn is the one where you start on the steps by the water just north of the airport. The first spot you can get onto the train easily. I jump on there and grab the chopper fuel then hop off quickly. I don't loot anything else because teams will show up very soon, so I bounce and then hit up the hospital and the building next to it looking in the computers. DMZ is just so much fun but also so frustrating when it comes to platoons.
I never hit the train solo.. Banks only I find GPU and everything I need
I didn't have to barter for this in Resurgence Solos. I just found it in a chest.
There is another building that is good for enc. USBs - the two story buildings (3x if you consider the roof a floor) that are often strongholds - the ones with the shield guys upstairs, and a grenade tripwire to defuse at the top of the stairs, toilet block on the ground floor too. They have a big room downstairs with PCs, the same sized room upstairs then individual offices. The buildings are in Haffid Port, Airport, Rohan Oil etc.
That one spot you found the game console was my go to for the console....until now 😢
The best place 90% chance for Encrypted USB is actually high rise me an my duo always find 1 or 2 mostly in the north tower as there is loads of pc’s

I often barter for a scavenger backpack in my regains. (2x gun cleaning oil, 1x battery, 1x canned foods) they're super easy. I do them while getting the items together to make my vest. Most of the time swap them for regular large backpacks, but I always keep at least one. they're handy for missions that collect and exfil/dead drop a lot of items.
I really wish you could stack, store and keep vests, large backpacks, durable gas masks and self revives etc to use in future runs.
You can store them in a secure backpack and equip them to your other saved operators.

I’d rather run a 2plate stealth vest than a standard 3plate or have both if I have a large backpack.
There also a couple computers upstairs of the supermarket that you can sometimes get lucky and find your encrypted thumb drive in!
Didnt even watch but let me guess, banks or highrise for usb, stores for consoles and gas stations for c books. Saved everybody time lol 😂 cheers to season 5!

@Geekseh there are 2 variants of the grocery store. One of them is a copy of the building Crypto mining is in. It has an upstairs with like 4 PCs. The OTHER variant has a first floor room with a few PCs in it to check. Both are great spawn locations for encrypteds
watching this nearly a year later - love seeing the early versions of game play...and yearn for some new game content!!
Thanks for the info. And you can also find encrypted usb sticks in hotels as well. They can spawn on bed and there are computers inside as well.

Another good spot for encripted usbs is high rise on the same level where the HVT usually spawns. There it is, I have said it LOL
In the back of the store on the opposite side of the cash register is a room. In that room is a good place to also find a comic book a game console and there are generally a computer that you may even be able to find one of the two encrypted devices people look for.
thanks bro, usually hit the same locations banks, police stations and supermarkets and rarely have issues finding the encrypted USB but didnt know about the building in Maz with all the computers

So next to that bank where your vehicle got stolen, there's a 2 story building that holds 20 odd computers. It's well worth a try
so the other place I find consols regularly and a comic book every time is next to the buy station a the ammo depot you made the vest is a barber shop and a pawn shop and it even has a few computers to get a chance at the encrypted thumb drive. Also in the super markets always check the office it has computers with a chance for the thumb drive as well.
For police stations getting a encrypted usb I have noticed they are in the shelf’s upstairs center of the building more often than in the computers now.
The bank in sahwa , the one you used to jump off to get into crypto , you can unlock the door on top floor from the roof , just lay down near the door and you will see the prompt through the floor .
There is also a crypto room above all the "supermarkets" i can usually find an encrypted USB after checking 2 supermarkets

encrypted usb stick i easiest to find in the airport terminal and the skyscraper, both have large numbers of computers. I have always found at least one or two in either place

I can't remember what it is so I'm watching your video for the second time actually the third lol if you can in the future put it down in your notes area so if someone is trying to find it they can find it that way. police server across from the academy is a great spot for encrypted USBs
super markets for consoles/ comic books
most lockers have comic books
the gamer store in almazrah is a good place for GPUs
I grit my teeth when you sold that GPU. Actually once you have gpu, you just need 2 gold bars, which is very common in banks. After that you have free skeleton key and can get a free stealth vest in the akhdar village.

Thanks for the intel bro, great and simple Strats. Question, when you’re on a regain do you generally extract right after you get your stuff or stick around for missions? I’m starting to be more inclined to just leave and come back vs pressing my luck.
I know you didn't ask me the question bit here's what I do anyway...do a regain run for all your characters soonnl as you got what you need leave, then once they're all done go in and do missions with them. That way if you loose one there's always the next ready to go!
Man don't be scared just do a HVT contract at least make it count and get a perck. I'm just pissed it stops giving you anything after 10 straight exfils
I still think the aquarium is the best place to regain and those bike parking keys are excellent

Geekseh you’re the best! Because of you I’ve started being more kind….I’m reviving players after I kill them AND not looting them. Don’t get me wrong it’s hard to play as a nice guy on Ashika Island as that place is a shit show of toxicity lol.
Can I bother you with a question? I’ve been trying for 2 seasons to unlock my 3rd weapon slot but can’t seem to find any GPU’s or in that rare case I do find 1 I get wiped lol. Any advice on maps/locations? Be well my brother to the North. 🤘🏻

annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd... you have to.. kill the sniper to have this unlocked... if i recall
which i dont.. as i cant do it solo, and survive half the matches solo (MRAP only going to make it more miserable ), and dont know Koschei hardly at all to kill the lil SOB..
we need alternative methods to these unlocks, or different bosses.. i'd rather have to kill the Pyro or Helo or Scavenger an extra 2-3x, than just the Sniper 1x..

I was playing on vondel yesterday and the entrance to the stuck room was blocked with a cage unless I was In the wrong spot I dunno if you want to check it out
