I have good information. Don’t treat the game like it’s the campaign on Regular difficulty. Treat it like Tarkov (yes I said that 😂). Avoid gun fights when possible. Obviously use suppressed weapons. Use a vehicle to get around, preferably the Hummer EV, because it’s quiet for avoiding A.I., and if players don’t hear you, most are loot goblins that aren’t paying too much attention to minimap until they do. The reason the AI are so insane is because they accidentally leveled their AI up to a boss level but didn’t patch it due to holidays. Only 1-2 special types of enemies are supposed to have the AI the general bots have

DMZ solos is hard but I find it easier if you slowly build up your gear by getting a little and then exfilling sooner rather than later, collecting better gear along the way. Also, stims are key for staying alive while running to cover from AI.
I like solo, but if you're running "To" cover while in contact with the AI, then you already screwed up badly. You should not be in contact with the AI WHILE you're moving to cover.
One time playing dmz i was trying to extract the m13b to have it in my account, then a full squad was trying to kill me in a chopper, i dont know how the hell happen but suddenly the vehicle explode in front on me, dying all of the members and i aproach that to get the loot. After that i see a player at the distance that for surprise, doesn’t kill me, in fact he just teabag to me and escape. (Maybe hes the one who explode the chopper) For experiences like that, is the reason why i like so much DMZ than battle royale.
I got some tips: Don't fight ai unless you have to, it's always an uphill battle. Don't fight ai unless you have 2-3 plates because they can and sometimes will one-shot you randomly. Use stims if solo, and I recommend thermite because it deals a shit ton of damage (use drill charge if you're gonna assault strongholds, for the shielded bois). Pick 3 faction missions at once, you may passively progress some of them while doing whatever you're doing. Do a radiation contract as soon as you spawn in, you can sell the fuel rods which are 7.5k each, meaning it's the most profitable contract (and it's easy too).
This was so relatable lmao. I've got ove 70 solo exfils now, with only 1 or 2 more white lotus missions left. There's a HUGE variation in NPC numbers and aggression from one game to the next, and yeah sometimes you just get totally overwhelmed with them actively looking for you and insta - acquisition. Other games are completely chill even with quiet exfil points. One area though that is pretty consistently horrible is the Sattiq cave complex, bloody nightmare.
once we tried nabbing the weapons case from another squad there and exfiling the one guy far back with a sniper didn’t kill us, the ai that delve into mitosis did
I remember doing this challenge solo. Surprisingly, I got a good start and it wasn't that difficult for me. It seems like the "hostage rescue" missions are scaled up in solo, though. When I'm in a 3-man squad, there are like 2 armored enemies in the building. Yet when I play by myself, they squeez a dozen tier 3 AI into the house.
hostage rescue mission can be cheesed if you familiar with what kind of building the mission happen. and most time you can just kill many of armored through windows, and some building have very easy to get to hostage at third floor with only one armored AI, an open window and seperated door leading to it (mean you can skip entirely first and second floor full of AI)

Just letting you know, tarkov is a whole different breed. DMZ is like being hold by the hand while walking blindly through a jungle. EFT is like being abandoned since you're a baby, thrown into the jungle and being hated by everyone in it while they want your head at the same time.

you should try running stims as your tactical. it will save you countless times and your best way to extract is always through a hostage rescue. Its not marked on other players maps and they cant use it even if they do kill you when your getting on the chopper
It's funnier when your weapon isn't in a 2h cooldown and u don't have to rush on I.A to get a crap RPK or that SMG with the chance to get instakilled by a two tap shotgun or popped by an entire village

This is pretty funny and I think you should do more dmz videos. By the way, playing dmz with your friend can be so much fun together as you struggle with them to fight against the AIs, you can even team up with other squad as I used to play in a 6-player squad and it was really crazy. But playing dmz in solo make each extraction you earned more valuable. I completed the stupid exfil with 6 killstreaks in 1 deployment mission and I gotta say, it was thrilling and amazing when the chopper took off and got me out of there, I really sighed and felt amazing.

Hey, at least you maintain all loot you find, without having to share. There's also the benefit of not relying on teammates so awful that it makes you wonder how they never forgot how to breathe. Anyhow, it's rough and unpredictable, but the experience of playing DMZ solo is intense. It gets a lot more manageable over time, as you get used to it. Also: always use headphones, it'll save your life so many times.

Keycards are so easy! You just go to a stronghold snd kill all the enemies around it, one will always drop a keycard. I’ve done it many times, always at least one keycard, sometimes you get three. Just make sure you are right outside the stronghold.
I literaly compleated all of the missions of the 1st part in solos. This one was the hardest because I didnt have any weapons when I spawned and I got knocked right when the extract helicopter landed but I extracted while I was knocked down.
haha ive been playing too much dmz 1. you can find stronghold key cards at random buy stations, its always random what the buy stations have - just try another one 2. That original stronghold was probably in a safer location, but you may have had other real players near you 3. that extract is very exposed and in a high level area, so im not suprised you saw 3-4 other squads 4. Shoot you shoot them? always yes! I might upload some of my gameplay XD ive got some funny kills trying to do the Predator level 4 mission, where you infil solo, with no weapons. you need to kill 3 operators and extract $150 000... came so close so many times, but got lucky at the end!
When you get near a strong hold and eliminate all enemies around it. Generally a helicopter will drop more enemies. And one of those enemies carries a key card.

I'm loving the hell out of DMZ but you're spot on with the AI. Normaly if a bunch of guys are shooting at the player in most games there's a damage cap with i-frames so they can't bring you down instantly just because a couple guys shot at the same time, that's not the case here. YOu can be literally insta-killed by a few AI through full 3 armor if you're unlucky and it's just not fun. Meanwhile, other times they'll fire 30 rounds at you and miss every single one. But I'd much prefer DMZ over Tarkov. You will be infuriated at Tarkov.
You can exfil even if the gas comes, as long as you called the helo and it's at the exfil it will land even though there is gas there. THAT is why they have gas mask IN the helo, so if the helo is over taken by the gas just grab a mask, and your GOOD TO GO...
And the A.I doesnt spawn out of thin air, they Come by helicopters, cars and parachuting, when one is alerted, nearby A.I gets alerted also and they Come at you.
I always play solo. Unless I have them already, first stop is always a hospital for medkits and revives and munitions buildings for 2 or 3 plate vests.

I always play DMZ solo cause:
1- no friends
2- randoms never helped me
3- barely die to players (I'd rather die to a OP BOT than a sweaty player lol)
real real real real real
4- you are overall harder to spot
5- you get to choose where to go and what to do
6- you get to use the stim pistol on enemy players
I got some tips:

Killing A.I is the fastest way to get stronghold keycard. Not every buystation have keycards, but some do.
Solo DMZ is an art... the secret is brain, stim, and hospitals (Self res and health pistols).
DMZ is just unhinged warzone trios with AI. Tarkov is literally another level of gameplay
