    Thank you very much, your video helped me find the issue for 2015 Corolla Crank But Doesn’t Start. Found that the IG2 Fuse was blown, back on the road after replacement. Probably saved me hundreds of dollars 🤑

    If any of these relays or fuses are blown can the fuel pump still start by test on a scanner?

      Oh wow good catch.. the arrow is wrong on the right side,.. They are two different relays. IG2 is the one below EFI-Main. I guess I'll have to upload this video again with a fixed version.

    Question for you! My car has a delay whenever I turn the ignition on, and it’s progressively gotten worse. My starter, battery, and alternator were all tested and they were all in “great shape.” Do you think it’s the Relay?

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  2 месяца назад

      I've played with a few types of relays and not one has ever had a delay, so I think it's unlikely, but may be worth a try. One thing to note about testing is that it can sometimes miss problems. How old is the battery? An older battery, 5-6+ years old, may test like it's good when it's really on it's way out. Also, we're entering a colder season and this is precisely the time when batteries start to show their weakness.

      @@CleverFix The battery is 3 days old. The alternator is brand new & I haven’t changed the starter, but Autozone told me it’s got no issues.. so I’m worried why my car starts slow at times 🙆🏽‍♂️

      @CleverFix  2 месяца назад

      @@nathansal.4079 I'm not sure what you mean by slow, you said there's a delay. So you turn the key, and you don't hear the starter click and turn right away?

    • @nathansal.4079
      @nathansal.4079 2 месяца назад

      @ when i turn the key.. the car clicks, but it begins clicking several times before firing up. What I mean by delay is it’ll click.. but it starts the car slower than usual.

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  2 месяца назад +1

      @@nathansal.4079 Having "several clicks" happen along with a slow crank is a sign that something's wrong. Both "slow to crank" along with "several clicks" mean there's a good chance that there's not enough power reaching the starter.
      If the testing was done with a simple tester hooked up to the battery only, that's not enough to diagnose all the possible issues. An auto shop can do more in-depth testing, and check for more issues, such as power flowing properly to the starter.
      Good testing is important, to avoid changing parts that don't need to be changed. If I have any starting problems, I try to get them fixed right away these days. It's cold, and I've been left stranded once before, because I ignored a slow starting problem for too long.

    What kind of multimeter would you recommend?

      Thanks for the question, I added a link in the video description to the one I use. I'm happy with it, and I think it's a pretty good for the price. It's not a Fluke, but it does the job!

    Can you do a video on replacing the outside door handle

    • @rabudman
      @rabudman 10 месяцев назад

      I just had to replace my driver side. There's several vids on how to do that here on youtube. It's super easy. Basically, open door, remove black rubber circular dust cover to access torque screw....back out screw...slide handle back to front until loose and remove/replace. 20 min job, tops. After market handle on Amazon about $20...from Toyota dealership about $60. Comes in black so you may need to paint to match your vehicle. Good luck

      @@rabudman did yours have the Auto Unlock feature? My main problem is I have a damaged front door so I want to buy a used door and transfer everything over in case the door I bought doesn’t have the Auto Unlock feature.
