Soo true! Other creators be like we listened and proceed to show us a bunch of junk literally NO ONE asked for. I'm always like "umm where did you even get these Shitty ideas from!?" Lol & I'm so glad she actually tags the people who she saw the idea from.☺
I think the brown and pink hair looks so so cute even when it’s fading! 😽🥺 like you could grow out your roots and it’d still look so good bc the brown is already integrated 💘
Tips for the stamp cutter: -Make sure it’s lying flat on the table -Only have 2-3 layers of nail polish. -regular nail polish works the best for these types.
Hi! Soooo I heard the oil water removal came from the press on groups and now people are assuming you can remove actual nails with it 😅 The French tip hack works really good I recently tried it, I believe you could still do it with that length of nail.. the trick is to slide your nail across the stamper instead of pushing it into the silicone.
Definitely doesn't work for Gel-X nails, even after having them on for two plus weeks. After an hour of soaking, I even tried adding acetone that a youtuber suggested with no results. Definitely only for press on nails using glue tabs.
Worked for me with polygel and press ons that were a day old. Took 45 mins to come off. Same method just different supplies needed: Hot water (as hot as you can handle microwave every 15 mins) Body wash instead of dish soap Cooking oil (I used coconut oil) Cuticle oil to apply on top of nail bed or cuticles Cuticle pusher or something to help with lifting around nail bed. Check every 15 and use tool to help separate the product stop when you feel any pain and continue to soak I had no damage to my natural nails and I am able to re use my press ons I was also able to take off most of the polygel still intact.
Love any content you put out there! That being said, I'd love to see another video of building an extension out of random junk, or encapsulated weird things 🤣
I’m an elementary school teacher and I recommend trying the punch stamps again but with a thinner layer instead. I suspect the thicker layer is more brittle and makes it more likely to snap than flex if the puncher was built a little uneven. I’m just guessing tho! Also, I’d brittle-ness does matter, maybe the texture of the polish matters?? Like matte vs. jelly vs. pearl?
You know how you just pick up on vibes people give off? I feel like Emily is literally the sweetest girl she just has that vibe that you want to be friends with lol ♥
Oh what about one of those silicone “beauty blenders” to try ? Maybe since it’s a flatter it’ll be easier to manipulate for longer nails? Your hair looks so amazing! 🖤

Yes Kirsty did make the nail gems from foil!! Super cool trick... I wish I could do my own nails but am not artistic at all in the slightest!! Lol! Love the hacks!! 💕🥰
My absolute favourite creator 😭 you could literally post a video doing the most boring thing and I'd still be like YES EMILY you bring me so much comfort and joy x
I love the cut out stamp idea! Cant wait to try Ive got a ton of these in our coloring/craft closet. I think youre right about it working with some gels better than others, I love your videos!
I loooove when you do 'testing' videos !! I've been watching you so long and your opinion is really the only opinion i trust when it comes to nail stuff maybe cause i've been watching you so long ? But also you go so in depth with your reviews and such you really seem to give these hacks and stuff the benefit of the doubt and do trial and error, I love that you're willing to be the nail guinea pig for all of us 🥺 Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed 💕 !!
You should try a different gel polish for the cut outs. One that is more flexible like madam glam! It works AMAZING ❤️ Makart polish are always so crumbly for me.
@@lidiab3921 No, ive never had this problem, it worked just like paper-cutouts. I always put a fast-dry polish over it, maybe it makes it a bit softer. The polishes were from essence and catrice :)
I have to say that your videos are the most realistic to what we are all doing at home!! Lol you start an idea and it doesn’t go as planned, you just saved us time trying them hahaha! I appreciate you show your mistakes and don’t try to act like they didn’t happen! ❤️

The French tip cutter has been around forever. I know so many salons that use them for when you ask for “pink and whites”. Whenever I asked for that “service” they’d all use that tool, except for one place I went to (the tech did it free hand). So… It always cracks me up when TikTok people act like they are finding something new. I don’t mean that in a condescending way. Just slightly humorous.
Same too! But my nail tech always flipped it upside down & use it’s the other way. She said it was easier & better results. I’ve seen very few (on social media) use it upside down, but it worked for them too.
I know this isn’t related to nails but will you please do a skincare routine? Because you look flawlesss. I love your makeup too, you look beautiful. ❤️
ALSO this is my little hack for re-rolling nail foils! I grab a thick-ish pen like a sharpie (i use a mildliner highlighter, i like it because it is the same width throughout the entire length of the pen) with a cap that has those clips on the lid. I wrap the foil at the beginning UNDER the clip (this helps hold the foil in place) and then roll the foil around the pen lid OVER the clip but not too tight. When im done rolling the foil I loosen the slack up just enough to remove the foil from the grip of the pen and then I slowly put it back into the nail foil box ! It has a little bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it it saves you a lot of time and headaches !
Im obsessed with your dragonfly hair clips!! Also ive not used a plastic bag for nail art for years, only did it with normal polish. Deffo be utilising that for writing on my nails!!!
Awhile back on Natalie Mugridge's channel, she showed that she stores all of her foils in a business card holder, the kind that's like a liitle binder with clear plastic sleeves. I got one IMMEDIATELY and it's the best thing ever! I can see all my foils in one place, so it saves a ton of space, and it's WAY easier to put them back in😅
Omg! I love this video already and it’s not even finished!!! I love your content soooo much! And also, I don’t want you to feel like you need to rush to post for us! You come first! Okay Even though your content is great, we can wait if you aren’t doing well. Love you Emily!!!!
I’m studying to become a nail tech and when I do my practice and without preparing my nails, I do find that method useful in which I soak my nails with warm water, oil and sometimes soap. I’m sorry if my English is not the best, I’m still learning it 🤦🏼♀️
Maybe it’s my doctor brain but that’s so scary! Pulling off nails damages your mail plates! Once they are damaged it will NEVER grow back the same again if you do this often. I’ve had a girl in the ER that got a bad nail infection from doing this she ripped her nail off in layers and bacteria was able to make it in the cracks and got infected. I know it’s frustrating but please just soak them off properly ladies!
@@TwoBees_or_Not_TwoBees yes you can file them, but be careful once the product gets thin. When it’s thin soak it in acetone. Once the nails are off give an oil manicure, you can soak the freshly cleaned nails in jojoba oil and it will dehydrate the nail and skin. When ready for the new set just follow normal procedures you usually do! But with the drill practice with a raw egg first as that will teach you pressure sensitivity. Also move the drill lightly and constantly as it will generate heat. It’s very sweet that you care so much! Just remember to be gentle

Hey big fan when you use those metal French tip cutters, once you push it on to make the shape then you file it down so both sides of the French tip are straight and smooth.
I love how she actually listens to us and tests out things that we want to see. Some content creators really don’t care and you can tell she does :)

hey! in the tiktok she showed, you can pretty clearly see that that's a press on nail that got lifted bc i thought the same thing! 😅
Yup press ons and peel off base coat
Yeah the water removal was made for press ons
It works! Has to be hot water with thick dish soap+oil
On the days she doesn’t post honestly feels like you’re waiting years , I love her vids so much 😭❤️
I agree 😫
💖💖
Yep
Ikr
Me too
If this soaking nails off in water oil and dish soap was a thing nails would be coming off after sitting in the tub, hot tub, etc.
Or washing dishes, hair etc.😳 😂
Exactly, also soaking your fingers in water and dish soap isn't really good for your skin so idk why people do it
It works for press ons :)

For the cutters if you put it flat on the table and press down it's a bit easier to get the pressure to cut them ❤️
Emily: This one is like way more resistant.
Emily 3 seconds later: I think I broke the Jelly Stamper.
Exactly! Some things, that are more resistant than others, break easily, especially because they resist to whatever you try to force on them.
