Hi Emily! Love your videos! I feel like it would be really cool to do a “shopping in my stash” video where you use up things you haven’t touched in a while or have never barely used that you already have and incorporate it in a cool design.
Can I just say, I'm loving the purple and black hair!! It's giving major Halloween, witchy vibes, especially with this makeup look and it just looks SO GOOD!💜🖤💜
Wasn’t it when she was encapsulating things inside her nails and her followers requested random things and one of the things was dog hair lol.. that was a few years ago 😂
Unhinged Emily makes me so happy. Loved this video. I know your aquarium nail techniques are 6 months more advanced now with your 3d-printed tips, but dude. That knife aqua was EVERYTHING. So good.
In the 80s and 90s, when nail techs were only found in hair salons, acrylic brushes were the the size of eye shadow brushes and a full set appointment was 2 to 2.5 hours.
yay so excited for this. I don’t have TikTok, so I really only see viral nail designs when you or long hair pretty nails re-create them. PS love all your Instagram posts about Mabel, she’s so cute.
Also also (sorry for all the comments) that aquarium nail might be the best one you've done yet in terms of execution, it looks lovely and everything flowed inside really well
Yeah, the original creator said to go in fluid motions. So, I think going over the same area again and again, made it so the pigments couldn't stick properly?? I think that's it, anyway.
I use acrylic paint pens a lot for my nails it works perfectly, as long as you topcoat or seal it of course. You can get any kind, even tiny ones. Just look for any acrylic paint pen. You can marble with them too, if you use a brush with a little alcohol. :)
I don’t know why but the set looks very good together , a bit Halloween and creepy with the hair I like it 🥰 and very cool designs you Tried . Always a joy to watch your videos ❤️❤️
The aquarium nail, the stuff will move around better if there's a bubble. The bubble will push the glitter around. I had a phone case that was full of glitter and some liquid, and it had some empty space so the glitter would go up and down nicer. But loving the nail, this way too 🖤
Can you do a video/series where YOU re-create nails of YOUR favorite artists and their work?!?! Maybe include where we suggest artists and/or a set to try to do! Like ballpit nails, nailzbydev, tino vo, and so many more!!
Yes the alcohol inks need to be put on with one smooth motion. That’s where you’re getting the splotchy spots and it not working correctly. It does work just fine with other pigments and inks, you did great ❤
Sweet Emily no matter if something turns out exactly how it does on the inspo vid you my dear still do an amazing job. As for me you are an inspiration and you teach me so much about doing fun, cute and unique nails ❤ Hugs from Kentucky
The best way for French tips with dual forms is use the lines on them to measure each finger and where to stop….I’ve also been doing nails forever so it’s easy for me maybe not as easy for others to carve out the shape and know how much to use so the nail bed part isn’t too high. Practice makes perfect!
The like counter with the Imma work on that after made me giggle ❤ love you. I cackled when you out the brush hair on your nail (waking my dog who was sleeping on my lap)
It looks like the first video is using it to make the ombre easier to achieve. I still haven't mastered it tbh, I always pick up too much, and that little brush doesn't pick up a lot so I might try this to do an ombre with.
I did smoke nails for 4/20 this past year. I used blooming gel and put milky white polish on top for the "smoke." I wonder if you could do that technique, but either add alcohol ink or jelly polish over it? I'm not sure how it would come out with the pigments, bc I think it would stick to the whole nail due to the blooming gel. But idk might be worth a try with the alcohol ink or jelly polish! Maybe I'll give it a shot and see how it comes out.
I liked your version of the smoky nail, is more like smoke like at least in my eyes, lol. The tank nail turned up nice too. Great video really enjoy it.❤
The "unnessary like counter kills me!😂 In quebec french canadians of the same age say "genre" the same amount of time 😅 It's not the same word but context is similar.
I do the neon smoke design alot. The way I do it is I take white gel and I thin it *slightly* with acetone and then I blotch it away with some acetone to make the smoke look "puffy"...hard to explain but it comes out amazing
Alright #1 love the hair color combo #2 definitely gonna need another nail video using a different base for the aquarium nails definitely looked pretty neat and #3 the like counter took me out 😂😂
When I first started doing my nails I used a tiny brush for the cuticle areas to help keep them neater... not sure I could do a full nail like that though!
That aquarium nail omgosh! It seemed to go faster for you and much easier! Idk 🤷♀️ hopefully it did and was. I loved it it, you could see the knives and the red in the aquarium so cool. I wouldn’t worry so much about not getting a bubble in your aquarium that definitely takes some practice or luck which ever one comes first. 😂 I would just fill it you know? I also wanted to say that the acrylic paint pens are a lot of fun to use on a nail. Regular craft acrylic paint as well, I paint on canvas and on rocks so I have a lot of little bottles of acrylic paint, (I don’t use my professional paint on my nails) lol but I have had to use my acrylic paint on my nails when I first started doing them again. The paint definitely doesn’t last as long, mine did not chip or peel though. I did use a shiny top coat though… the nails lasted 3 weeks or almost three weeks. It’s crazy but I could see that the paint was having a time staying bright even with the top coat, idk how to explain it. But, I know it totally works over polygel cuz that’s what my base was that day. In fact a Modalones pink. Those dual form stickers, you also have to think about those in terms of shape of nail too. Not just how big they are. I have them too and with a very sharp pair of scissors you can cut them smaller to fit your pinky on the side. I have crazy tiny pinky nails. I have gotten polygel on the sticker you can clean it off before curing then make it a little thicker clean it up cure with the sticker on, it’s a silicone sticker. Check it make sure that your French is thick enough and goes up the side walls. Then put your layer of polygel that will stick to your nail. Make sure it isn’t too much, and that if you do have any side wall that it needs to go up on that you do that. Oh and make sure that you remove the sticky thing before putting your nail layer of gel in. Your French on the sides should be thick enough that it doesn’t get messed up. And…..walla Anyway…I actually even loved that thumb nail! I thought it was great, maybe because I’m feeling the same way. Maybe? Who knows but I would have at that very moment saved and added hair too. My daughter passed away a month ago and I’m been having such a rough time, super rough time and I’m basically alone trying to deal with it. So there you have it 5 really very cool nails imo, I always love watching your videos, until the next one, much 💜🩷🩵💙💗💖
Not sure if you have a video on this but is there anyway you can do a beginner friendly video for new users of polygel? I have tried using it and I read the directions but I still messed them up but I really wanna try again and you seem really good at it because your nails always look so pretty. I wanna be able to do my moms, my aunt, my bestie and my nails when we all get together for our girls spa night stuff. Plus it's a lot cheaper then going to the nail salon. I am good and shaping and cleaning the nails up and doing all the prep before hand its just working with the polygel itself that is hard and idk what works best to get it to move because the slip solution I had with my kit felt sticky and wouldn't really move the product. So I'm open to any advice and suggestions or even a video to watch so I can learn and get better at it. Love you beautiful and I can honestly say thanks to you I have gotten into doing mine and others nails with stuff I know I can use for sure. I'm still working on designs though but stickers and charms/jewels work wonders for the time being. So thank you for helping me find a hobby I love doing. You're very sweet and kind and loving. 💜💜💜💜
I'm pretty sure I read that they did a study on people who say "like" and "uhm" a lot and it showed that they thought about their words more before speaking, and usually were better communicators because of that!
The second design reminds me of these crayon pictures I made when I was kid. We would use neon crayons to draw some bright bright design then cover it all in black. Then we would scrape off the black in shapes revealing the color underneath. Awe. nostalgia.
I think with neon pigments you supposed to rub it right after you take them out of lamp, when they still warm. I heard this rule for all types of powder pigments.
Doing a full mani of those aquarium hack nails for Halloween would be so cute. One with bats, ghosts, pumpkins/ Jack-o-lanterns, the knives, and bones, etc.
the ‘like’ counter had me crying laughing but extremely relatable. i need one of those counters irl
“I’m feeling…slightly unhinged today so I’m gonna save this and reincorporate it” I love her 😂😂
Hi Emily! Love your videos! I feel like it would be really cool to do a “shopping in my stash” video where you use up things you haven’t touched in a while or have never barely used that you already have and incorporate it in a cool design.
Great idea! Really hope that Emily does this!!!
Can I just say, I'm loving the purple and black hair!! It's giving major Halloween, witchy vibes, especially with this makeup look and it just looks SO GOOD!💜🖤💜
yess, for me it gives monster high vibes especially Clawdeen
@@merioceann😮
me too! it fits her so well very pretty
Purple is so flattering for everyone imo, there's always a shade that will work
If I had a nickel for every time Emily used hair in a nail, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice
What a weird comment just as weird as hair in nails 😆
Are you referencing Phineas and Ferb lollll
Omg this comment wins
Wasn’t it when she was encapsulating things inside her nails and her followers requested random things and one of the things was dog hair lol.. that was a few years ago 😂
This comment wins 😂
hear me out, a full hand of the aquarium nails exactly like you did in this video and the smoke nail but only red pigment!! that would be STUNNING
Unhinged Emily makes me so happy. Loved this video. I know your aquarium nail techniques are 6 months more advanced now with your 3d-printed tips, but dude. That knife aqua was EVERYTHING. So good.
In the 80s and 90s, when nail techs were only found in hair salons, acrylic brushes were the the size of eye shadow brushes and a full set appointment was 2 to 2.5 hours.
everyone is entitled to come unhinged and go off the deep end, it refreshes the soul
Your videos always calm me down when I'm anxious. It's great to come home from a horrible day and see a new video at the top of my feed
yay so excited for this. I don’t have TikTok, so I really only see viral nail designs when you or long hair pretty nails re-create them. PS love all your Instagram posts about Mabel, she’s so cute.
Thank you 🥰🫶🏻
Also also (sorry for all the comments) that aquarium nail might be the best one you've done yet in terms of execution, it looks lovely and everything flowed inside really well
My mom finally let me get press on! She used to say it was inappropriate for a boy to use ‘em but now she’s ok with it😎
Ayyyye congrats
Progress!! 💗 happy for you!
🎉
let's goo I'm sur it will look fire on u !!!
❤❤❤
With the neon smoke - dont go over the same areas with the alcohol ink, just one smooth movement - don't go over the same areas with the ink 🖤
Would alcohol inks work similarly over like a white stripe?
Oh interesting good to know so just 1 smooth motion and then fight the urge to keep going lol
That's what I was thinking 🤔 still cool!!
Yeah, the original creator said to go in fluid motions. So, I think going over the same area again and again, made it so the pigments couldn't stick properly?? I think that's it, anyway.
Yea, it kept getting cakey from all the thick layering.
Unnecessary like counter 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I feel that in my soul. I really love your channel! Finishing the video now....
Is this emilys consistent era im losing it omggg so so grateful for u ily
I love the hair in the nail honestly xD It looks like tiny stems or branches especially with the flowers on top!
The ring finger is my favorite. I love that you found a good aquarium nail hack, but the art on the ring finger is just too cute
New Emily video means my Friday night is a Friday night well spent 😍 also the “like” counter sent me 😭 relatable ✨
The Halloween aquarium nail is everything
I use acrylic paint pens a lot for my nails it works perfectly, as long as you topcoat or seal it of course. You can get any kind, even tiny ones. Just look for any acrylic paint pen. You can marble with them too, if you use a brush with a little alcohol. :)
I've used acrylic paint on nails before and it works great! It just really needs a good couple layers of top coat to really seal it in🤗
That aquarium nail looked SO SICK 😵 like WHAT??? Love you and your vid’s as always 🥰
I love that right side. Haven't made it through the video yet.. you look like a magic fairy 🧚♀️ ✨️
Love them all SO much. But the white sticker one is my fave. You are so talented & make such great videos, sweetie 😊🩷
I don’t know why but the set looks very good together , a bit Halloween and creepy with the hair I like it 🥰 and very cool designs you Tried . Always a joy to watch your videos ❤️❤️
Also, the acrylic paint pens work great on nails but I use ultra fine top ones. The brush tip is just too big for me. Try the micro tip ones!!
I love the hair and I’m so happy to be here within an hour! Emily I love all your videos and appreciate the effort you put into them all. ❤
Thank you 🫶🏻
Your entire attitude tonight just really lifted my mood! A kinda “ i have no F’s to give” with a dash of awesomeness.
Holy heck! You look so pretty Emily! I love this glitter eye look on you! And your hair! Gorgeous🥰
I rarely even do my nails, but I love to watch your videos!
As an artist, I can appreciate it
Love to see what you come up with
“I’m feeling slightly unhinged today..”
Me: I *LOVE* that for you.
I love the look of that aquarium nail!!!! It doesn't look so thick and bulky, and you did an amazing job at making it.
That aquarium nail came out amazing!!! Your rhinestone placement was *immaculate* ❤🔪
Obsessed with the hair it’s amazing I love it, it suits you perfectly!!
The like counter is so funny, need one in every video 😂😂🥰
What a wild set 😹🥴🩷🩷🩷🫶🫶🫶
Seriously, you are just so beautiful and talented. I enjoy your content so much
I love the aquarium nail! Those knives are awesome.
Love your hair and the makeup is on point as always. SLAY QUEEN💜💜
I love your eyeshadow, Emily! Especially, the glitter/sparkle on your lower lashline. ❤
The aquarium nail, the stuff will move around better if there's a bubble. The bubble will push the glitter around. I had a phone case that was full of glitter and some liquid, and it had some empty space so the glitter would go up and down nicer. But loving the nail, this way too 🖤
Youve 'nailed' the aquarium nails with that one! Slay!
Can you do a video/series where YOU re-create nails of YOUR favorite artists and their work?!?! Maybe include where we suggest artists and/or a set to try to do! Like ballpit nails, nailzbydev, tino vo, and so many more!!
I enjoy polygel nails. I just ordered the nail stickers. Thank you I am so excited to use. I enjoy your videos so very much.
Wow, Ispent yesterday comfort watching some of your old videos and dang your camera quality looks amazing now. Your set up is perfect!
omg perfect timing! love watching your vids while in bed and that's what im doing rn lol
Yes the alcohol inks need to be put on with one smooth motion. That’s where you’re getting the splotchy spots and it not working correctly. It does work just fine with other pigments and inks, you did great ❤
Perfect timing for my Friday night in ❤

Pink flower tip was my favorite. 💗
I prefer your rainbow ink accident nail, it looks like a lava lamp or something. 💖
It looks like the first video is using it to make the ombre easier to achieve. I still haven't mastered it tbh, I always pick up too much, and that little brush doesn't pick up a lot so I might try this to do an ombre with.
That aquarium nail is sublime 👌
The middle nail is everything, I'm so ready for Halloween 🎃🎃🎃🎃
The “like” counter kind of made me sad!! Say “like” as many times as your heart desires, it’s adorable! ❤
Recovering from Covid rn and that hair nail is absolutely amazing, might have to do that when I’m not sick😂😂
They all came out Great, very Creative 🥰
Woo early! Loving the hair, the dark colors look so nice on you! ❤️
Your hair and makeup is so pretty.
One of my fav aquarium nails! 🔪 it flows so good!
Whatever you’ve got on your checks is perfection. Perfect shape and perfect color. I suspect it’s contour, not blush or bronzer…
Love your vids they always make me smile also love your hair
Looking so beautiful Emily 😍 that like counter almost killed me off omg 😂💀
the stickers on the lamp are so cuteeee definitely joy bringing
Thank you Emily!!! I needed this ❤

I Love the choas! and the like counter is awsome ! ♥♥♥
I liked your version of the smoky nail, is more like smoke like at least in my eyes, lol. The tank nail turned up nice too. Great video really enjoy it.❤
Vee nailed it and kirsty mekins have great tips on the neon hack you were doing.
The "unnessary like counter kills me!😂

Loving your makeup ❤
hair in the nail turned out cute :D
The nails with the hair are definitely giving me glam Wookiee. Lol.

The hair could be really cool in a fall nail. Use it as like hey/grain/tall grass field with pumpkins and leaves and/or wild flowers.
The first nail screams 90s horse girl to me. So cute!
The counter. 😂😂I didn't even realize you were saying it a lot.

Haha that’s awesome, it looks like a glitter version of Cousin Itt ❤
Omg Emily 😂 I’m living for the unhinged mail 🙌🏼
The hair of the brush works. It's like dry grass ❤
When you randomly decided to put the hair in your nail I LOST IT 😂😂😂 You are the best ever
Taking it waaay back on that aquarium "hack" ❤️
I'm pretty sure I read that they did a study on people who say "like" and "uhm" a lot and it showed that they thought about their words more before speaking, and usually were better communicators because of that!
That makes me feel better ty 🥺
That first nail, looks like you has a fight with a magical yetti.
Lol ❤
I love the set on your right hand, what products did you use?
Your hair 😍😍😍
i like the hair nail lol the flowers set it off
