I just lost my 16 year old boy two weeks ago. He was such an angel. I realized I left my life on hold him for the last year and half since his litter mate died. He deserved it. Five days later I adopted a two year old GSD. He’s such a handful and he makes me understand just how wonderful my old man was. Senior dogs are the absolute best, puppies are the worst, and I love them all.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You should try to get as many memorials with Penelope. Ex. Paw prints, nose prints, clay paws, locket, etc.There are some really amazing ideas you can find online. It can sometimes help just knowing you will always have those reminders. I would do it for all your babies. My girl is young still and I have tons of paw prints and a clay print. I want to be able to always have a physical memory of my girl. I hope you find comfort in knowing how lucky all your babies are to have a loving and amazing mom and dad!

Emily I’m so sorry. I lost my childhood dog a few years ago and it was so scary and rough. Idk what’s been going on this year but it’s been kinda terrible. If it makes you feel any better, I’ve been having an extremely hard time with like life in general lately and I tend to put your videos on and marathon them as a distraction. People who say animals are just animals, clearly have never understood that bond of love. I feel sorry for them. Age is just a number. Wether they are young or old, it's always heartbreaking. I'm a cat lady and I lost my 14 year old girl last year, and now her twin brother is sick with the same illness, and more, and is on borrowed time. My world has not been right. These are our babies. They mean everything to us. And I know how much you loved your babies and can only say that I understand and send my love to you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You should try to get as many memorials with Penelope. Ex. Paw prints, nose prints, clay paws, locket, etc.There are some really amazing ideas you can find online. It can sometimes help just knowing you will always have those reminders. I would do it for all your babies. My girl is young still and I have tons of paw prints and a clay print. I want to be able to always have a physical memory of my girl. I hope you find comfort in knowing how lucky all your babies are to have a loving and amazing mom and dad!

Emily I’m so sorry. I lost my childhood dog a few years ago and it was so scary and rough. Idk what’s been going on this year but it’s been kinda terrible. If it makes you feel any better, I’ve been having an extremely hard time with like life in general lately and I tend to put your videos on and marathon them as a distraction. People who say animals are just animals, clearly have never understood that bond of love. I feel sorry for them. Age is just a number. Wether they are young or old, it's always heartbreaking. I'm a cat lady and I lost my 14 year old girl last year, and now her twin brother is sick with the same illness, and more, and is on borrowed time. My world has not been right. These are our babies. They mean everything to us. And I know how much you loved your babies and can only say that I understand and send my love to you.
