I've only gotten my nails done a handful of times in my life, yet I'm still obsessed with how relaxing and creative this community is!
The Gumball Machine nail gave me an idea, I think a Snowglobe nail would be so cool! I loved all of these! Everyone had such good ideas and you executed them perfectly! You’re so talented! 💯💯💯

Next time, when working with the FIMO clay, I suggest sulpting and baking it on a piece of paper. This way, you won't have to pry it off of another surface, and it will hold its shape. baking It on the paper gives a matte finish, making it easier to glue to your nails . For a glossy finish, bake on a smooth surface like a cookie sheet or parchment paper. Hope this helps!😊

Yay I love watching your videos. They are like mini art projects! If you have a few nails you want to frame, you could put fabric in a picture frame and adhere a couple of nails in the frame and hang that up. That way you could display some of your favorite nails! Also, I am doing laser tattoo removal too. The pain is unbelievable, but luckily it doesn't take a long time like getting the tattoo! Haha

They do make translucent clay! The brand sculpey has translucent clay and an opal clay that’s translucent with shiny bits. They don’t come out completely clear but they’re the closest you can get with clay 😊 their glitter clays are really pretty too

There is translucent clay! A lot of artists who make clay earrings use it to make BEAUTIFUL marble earrings!
My favorites were the gumball nail and the Cherry blossom nail. You do amazing work!

You can use a small floor tile from the hardware store to make your polymer clay charms on and you can just pop it in the oven and bake it with out having to move the clay around and chance messing up all your hard work.
clay sculptors actually use alcohol to remove finger prints and such before baking so that’s perfect !!
You certainly can get transculenct clay... and you can get liquid clay to glue the clay together

i’m really into polymer clay and have been for years and years and i’m also into doing my nails! a lot of the tools are super similar or the same and yes alcohol can be used to help soften although they do have clay softeners and to help shape or clean off any dust! acetone is okay to use on polymer clay (baked and unbaked) as well. hope this helps!! 💘

I found that using an old pair of cuticle nippers cuts the excess of real easy and a little more precise than scissors they all turned out so good i love the sonic nail was one of my favorite gamea growing up

tip for making perfect "snakes" from polymer clay: Roll it out with something flat instead of your fingers. A card type scraper for stamping plates, piece of glass or mirror, a CD case...trying to think of things you may already have...

The way you made the little crystals on the wand was absolutely genius! There is such a thing as transparent polymer clay but it's not truly very transparent.
Also, I fully relate on the laser tattoo thing! I had two sessions about 12 years ago and I still remember how agonizing it was. If I ever had to do it again I'd definitely apply my own numbing cream first so I could be sure it worked, because theirs certainly didn't!

alcohol is fine to use on polymer clay! A lot of people use rubbing alcohol to clean off any dust before baking
Btw there is translucent clay. It’s more foggy than clear though. But it’s super cool to use to make opal-y gemstones. Also liquid clay sculpey. But I think ur better off with gel. Much clearer and way easier.
If you are going to do a lot of Fimo baking, you might consider getting a toaster oven. It’s smaller and faster, and won’t heat up your whole house in the summer. If you get one second hand, it won’t cost much and you don’t have to worry about what might be getting in your food.
